I cannot wait it's June, I have big plans on rainbows for Pride and using my neglected blue and light blue eyeshadows for a Caterpillar cosplay, which means I'll use them often in order to get what combo works best for the look i have in my mind. Blue eyeshadows can be pretty scary. One faux pax and BOOM. You got bruised eyelids look XD
The What’s Up Beauty palettes are so pretty! I haven’t heard anything about Menagerie for some time! I wonder when they will come out with something new…. They had so many nice palettes! Hooray for school being almost over! Summer is here!
New subscriber here. I'm looking at the makeup your wearing , and it is so refreshing, and more like I would wear. I have in the past been a fan of dramatic eye shadow looks, but not really anymore, especially in Spring, and Summer. I've never been a fan of the big, black eye liner wings, or false eye lashes. I want to see the beauty of the eye shadows.
Thank you. As it gets warmer I tend to wear less eye makeup and have a bold lip. It’s too humid where I live to be babysitting an eyeliner running down my face 😂
What a bunch of great palettes to play with! I pretty much stuck to my Use These Up, Get to Know Them group, but at the end of April, I swapped out some of the MWF palettes. I am trying to get my head around Christmas Eve by Oden's eye. It's fun, but challenging, and I am learning "less is more". I think I was just overdoing it and ending up with Mimi Bobeck.
I didn’t like the updated menagerie matte eyeshadow formula back when it was first updated because I was into very pigmented bright colorful shades. But now I think I would appreciate the more sheer matte formula of menagerie. Not saying I’m going to necessarily run out and buy all their new releases, but I’m more open to the matte formula now. I always side eye those super expensive indie like Ensley Reign and Adept that are made in China where the cost for production is low, yet their shadows are so expensive. Someone who I won’t mention their name got mad at a subscriber because she complained about the price of Ensley Reign being so high. That influencer is affiliated with them so they defended them in my opinion to not hurt their bottom line. 😂 don’t mind making friendly conversations with influencers, using codes and buying their collabs, but I don’t put any of them on a pedestal or think they are my friends. They are strangers online who could snap at me one day for an innocent comment or a legitimate concern about a brand.
April was playing with me all month! I thought it would be nice and then by the afternoon it was hot and my eyes were watering and itchy from allergies.

I struggle with the over doing it a lot. Some palettes just have such deep, intense pigments their hard to work with.

I agree with you! I do my best to be always be as honest as possible with my affiliates. I still think they are overpriced and I will stick to it.
