Allen has so much room for growth. He came to UW as a S/LB who played RB in HS because he was the best athlete. He has only really been playing the position for 4 years full time. Added to that is the fact that one of his few years playing RB was the Covid year, where he played like 6 games in the spring. So he comes to UW and immediately shows out at RB and abandons defense. Has a great year and then his RB coach dies. He is replaced by an offensive lineman who has never coached the position in a disaster of a year for the program. HC is fired halfway through, etc. Then the entire program changes and he is forced into the worst possible fit of an offense and still carries the team on his back. Unfortunate that he was hurt for all the spring testing because it has allowed the 'unathletic/soft' label to stick. People are seriously underestimating Allen. He may never be a top 8 rb in the league but he will be a solid back for somebody.
He was hurt last yr and still wasn't at 100% at his pro day, but he should have stayed another yr to develop more and play healthy. I like him. Teams like San Fran, Eagles, the ravens should get him in the 4th round. He actually reminded me of King Henry with his size, power, and long speed
Don’t y’all ever get tired of mentioning teams that already have running backs and using their names all the time I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Chiefs but the ravens or the 49ers running backs, Braelin Allen and the Eagles who didn’t even want it last year when they paid DeAndre so much money why would you get Allen once again? Dallas Maybe the Chiefs because Pacheco is the only one that really looks like he can actually run the ball. Green Bay those are legit teams that actually need a running back.
I disagree a bit- Im actually higher than consensus on Allen. The dude has rare size, he just needs to learn to harness it better. He will be the single youngest player on draft night, I think with where you can get him ADP wise, his combination of youth, size and potential is probably a pretty good bet.
He's a pretty inexperienced back and he's young. And he had a trash line (for Wisconsin) the last 2 years. Maybe with better training, the right system, and consistency he might shine in the NFL. He really needed to come back one more year, imo. So, I'm perplexed by him like you! Great analysis.
Guys he’s not a RB1 so let’s not evaluate him like one- he scores TDs , has good avg yd/carry and will get short yardage. This fits with what the Jets want- they are adopting a power run scheme with big OL men and he should pull through real estate they open for him. Breece is the guy that extends and finishes and can out-run defenders. Allen is a perfect complement.
Eagles. 4th or 5th round. Lagarrete Blount. Cat feet. Not much actual power running. Will still be on GMFB's Angry Runs at least twice a year. Needs Stoutland to teach him pass blocking and a good RB coach to teach him how to scrunch in the shoulders to run through contact better and protect the ball. If this kid watches Blount tape, he could win SBs with the Eagles.
Who’s here after the draft
Go JETS!
This is the second pick y’all got correct ✅ !
Great pick
What's the draft?

That new York backfield is going to be sick

He might not be top 8, but he could be top 9. I’m higher than consensus on Allen.
Great history on allen. You just pumped up a Jetsfan. Thank you. Breece hall and allen . Jets might not need a QB
He's a beast ! He's 6'2 240 lbs. Now and ran a 4.4
Braelon is so underrated
I have picked saquon, Derrick Henry, David Montgomery, rhamondre stevenson in the past. Braelon is my guy this draft.
Cringe
Wow you had to be prophet to hit on Saquon and Derrick Henry
Stevenson did real good for me few years ago
He’s gonna eat when Breece goes down

I think Dallas could take him
If he last till the 3.04 in my rookie draft I'll jump for joy
What if he's drafted by Seattle? Everyone thinks they won't keep drafting RB's by they do!
He won’t get anywhere close to that but pray on it ig

Oh ok. Good to know that jpsaxophone69420 is higher than consensus 😂
@@SteveJohnson-ht6kvhey! Don’t be a douche! :)

Couldn’t agree more, the system change didn’t do him any favors. Physical traits certainly seem translatable 🤷♂️

Welcome to the jet's 💚🤍 ⭐ RB
This kids a monster, he works hard. Depends which team drafts him and how to use him

Poor Rasheen Ali 😭
How is this 7 days old haha
Insane call out idk if they changed the title or something but
Yeah, a few channels changed their title after the draft😅.
thanks for that video, now he is on my list to watch.

& we just drafted him 😂😂😂🔥🔥‼️
Dudes just kinda of fall off of him disagree that hes not physical. He runs to peoples shoulder not directly through them.
Wait how did y'all know he was coming to us
They update the title after picks 🤙🏼
Not many highlight with run after hit.
Big rb, good pick this late
How is this posted 7 days ago and labeled welcome to nyj
They update the thumbnails as they’re getting drafted
How would John or Jim Harbaugh use him?
Holy shit he called it
They change the titles after
Wtf? The jets actually picked this dude in the 4th round? How do you have the script?!
They updated the thumbnail/title when they’re drafted
Not a lot of explosion or power. Not really sure what we are talking about here, except for a young prospect.
Going to the jets I expect he’ll get us In short yardage
What you mean he’s know for his pass blocking ? That was bad take
How’d they know 7 days ago
You can edit/change a video thumbnail anytime
I see AJ Dillion
GM Walt .. has Allen going to Minn #108
He played like a Velvet hammer vs a Sledge hammer!
Runs like Ryan matthews but bigger
Gus Edwards
Hey how’d this guy know the jets would get Braelon?? Wtf. 😮
Anyone could change the title of a video at anytime
Research purpose Jets
Welcome to the Jets!!!
Juke it and take it to the house and sorry about the met life field. Doesn't look like there going to change it
Lets. Start being contenders. Im tired of being pretenders.
Najee Harris had wiggle and was super twitchy but he would run you over
Being so young he may lack a little confidence and has not matured mentally
this guy needs to be investigated
Hes a bill
He doesn’t look that good
A 17 year old has no business in big ten football
He is a bust, might be a good short yardage back but that is it.
That's exactly what Jacksonville needs. We already got ETN for the speed back stuff, so we need that 3rd and short and goalline guy.
I kind of agree- he reminds me a lot of AJ Dillon coming out..
@@Kharmatos13 Jacksonville's short yardage problem is not because of etn, it's because they were starting JC Penny security guards for their oline
@@Kharmatos13Jacksonville is in a very tough division starting this year
@@josh1mark Totally agree, but I think it's both. ETN isn't an up the middle guy. he's a speed guy.
