This is the most thorough video I’ve seen on any install. Thank you so much. Just picked up a 2011 Ranger 2.3L that needs some new gaskets and I feel much better about changing them on my own now 👊🏻
Wow, what a great video. I have a 2009 Ranger 2.3L manual, regular cab truck that I bought brand new. No oil leaks, and it runs great. Only issue is a small amount of oil in spark plug well on #1 plug. It hasn't affected the engine at all. I was curious as to how complicated it would be to try to correct it, but after viewing this video, I will live with it. But now I know what would be involved. Good job.
Great video, will surely follow exactly, when I replace the gaskets on my 2008 Ford Ranger 2.3 and followed this same mechanic when replacing my rear brake drums!! This guy is really good!!
Thanks Great vid. Son and I just did watching this. Whew what a job. He has a 2008. We did not need to remove power steering pump but it was tight getting intake out and back in.
I have a 2003 ranger but everything looks slightly different from the one on this video Im looking through Amazon and through Google and its showing me 2 different types of gaskets Gasket 1: has the big gasket thats goes around the cover then 3 smaller ones that go in the center between the 2 cam shafts i think Gasket 2: is the same but instead of 3 small ones in the center its a single long one in the center then the 1 big one that goes all the way around How would i know which one will work for my 2.3 or will they both work the same or is one weeks better than the other some ones please help lol

I'm about to do this exact thing to my ranger, how long is this process in real time?
