Heyyy ! Just wanted to cheer you on, your work is wonderful ! The editing is greatttt and you have an adorable bubbly personality ! I hope you continue making videos, good luck with everything 😊
hey! This video was really insightful!! absolutely adored it. just wanted to know something, and I'd be really grateful if you had the time to answer: how is the comp sci and engineering major? and I've heard that UNSW has really good opportunities for internships and extra curriculars compared to other unis? does that depend on mostly teachers to student ratio or is that true in all faculties? would love it if you have the time to answer! best of wishes for your future journey!!
Hey! Just wondering what kinds of unis would rank higher than UNSW in terms of experience? From what friends have said it seems that the experience across AU unis is quite similar?
The algorithm is cruel and showed me the video two weeks after release date.. v.v AnywayI really appreciated this one, it felt like I was hitchhiking in someone else's nostalgia trip. It left me excited for what is to come 🌸

Hi! Thank you so much for this video, it was super helpful :) I just have few questions if you have a bit of time: How would you say the commerce and economics lecturers are? Did you find that they were supportive and that the education was of a high quality in comparison to other aussie unis? Also...do you know if people who graduate with a commerce or economics degree are very employable in sydney?
Please keep in mind that this is just my perspective. On the whole, I personally didn't find the economics lecturers to be very supportive. In part, this is because the cohort for economics/commerce is relatively large and lecturers don't really build a relationship with most students (unless you become a research assistant, tutor, honours student, etc.). To be fair, this is probably my fault as well because I never went to consultation hours, however, the lecturers (on the whole) aren't the kind that seem like they want to help you because they care about you - there were definitely some exceptions to this though. This was very different to my experience with my Arts (Global Development) degree where I was part of a small cohort and built a personal relationship with my lecturers. With those lecturers I felt comfortable enough to discuss my career concerns, debate theories, etc. and you could really tell that they cared about their students. In terms of the quality of education, I think that the Economics curriculum at UNSW is good because there is that quantitative focus. In terms of employability, I think that this is really important as working with data is becoming increasingly important and it gives you some of those 'technical skills'. I can't really say how it compares with other Australian universities as I haven't taken those courses, however, I believe that the University of Sydney may be a bit more theoretical/social-science based. I think that an Economics/Commerce degree does make you quite employable in Sydney, however, what's really important is to build your outside-of-uni experience e.g. internships, part-time work, etc. This outside experience is what employers are looking at these days. Hopefully that was somewhat helpful ☺️ Sorry for the essay 😅
@@DearOldWorld Thank you so so much!! It's great to hear about your expirience...so I can be prepared and make a good choice :) Its a pity that you found the lectures abit impersonal but I'm glad to hear about your perspective on employability. Thanks once again.

Hi linda, yes they do look at your high school results for entry, but it's different for each course. Which course are you interested in? Also, I'm assuming you're not from NSW, so you'll have check your high school results equivalence against the ATAR.
Hi Linda, I've had a look on the website, and if you are a domestic student I would recommend clicking through this website to find the entry requirements (www.psy.unsw.edu.au/future-students/undergraduate/programs). If you are an international student check this PDF for different entry requirements (www.psy.unsw.edu.au/future-students/undergraduate/programs). Hope this helps
