It doesn’t make any sense why they can’t air it anymore. This was original music written by the WWF for him. It was used when WWE on demand first started.
His physique was the personification of what you expected a pro wrestler to look like and when he wore the WCW International Championship belt it fit him so perfectly

Actually, it's "legally distinct" from The Stripper. And this is the second version. I'm guessing V1 wasn't quite distinct enough, so we ended up with an incredible amount of stank on that sax for this one. It wasn't neccessary to go that hard, but it was done for the fans' benefit. Kinda the same deal as the Mr. Perfect theme originally being The Theme From Exodus, and Ernest Gold wasn't too happy about it... so a few weeks later, Perfect ends up with the classic Jim Johnston composition we all know and love.
Dude, wrestling theme or not, this is one of the longest bombs in sax'n history! This man crushed this. Demolished it. At the end of the take, they began dismantling the studio for museum purposes...

Yeah, he never struck me as the type of wrestler who needed a manager/mouthpiece to do all the talking for him since he was so damn good on the mic! I always felt he would’ve been better suited with a hot valet by his side, escorting him to the ring! (like how Savage had Elizabeth as his manager) a Missy Hyatt or Precious-type of valet @ the time would’ve been the ideal fit imo, though I could never really picture him having someone like Sherri by his side!

Rude later got his revenge on WCW Saturday Night, attacking Vader with a steel chair after Vader’s match against Maxx Payne to the delight of the crowd. WCW announced a Rude/Vader match for that year’s Slamboree, but Rude’s career-ending back injury in Japan put an end to that. I often wonder what a face Rick Rude would have been like. I think it would have been an early version of what we got with Steve Austin: someone who doesn’t ask for the fans’ approval but they can’t help but cheer for him because he’s a badass.
Why do they play different music for him on Peacock? When I first heard wht they played I knew it wasn't right and it just is not the same without THIS music!

he deserved a world title run w wwe. shd have beat the warrior at summerslam. he was the classic 1980s/90s heel. one of the best calls ever was howard finkel announcing him as the new IC champ at wm V. look it up here, just classic wwf

WWE also stopped using a bunch of Jimmy Hart's WCW themes around 2014 despite owning them via their purchase of WCW and using them freely before that.

Johnston did compose it. Since around 2014 when the Network launched, WWE has been cracking down on their in-house music if it sounds similar to a famous composition. They own the publishing rights for WCW's original music (the themes Jimmy Hart made) but won't use the ones that are well known knockoffs.

This theme is in the older games like 2K14 and 2K15. The newer ones have some generic stripper music that Rude never actually used.
