Excellent. And they all work!
Not arty farty make believe stuff. I used some in past as a bouncer. Love it.
I’ve been a police officer for 31 years in a defensive tactics instructor for the police to 15 I teach are open and strikes to prevent officers from breaking your hands and I’ve been able to use the tools. I enjoyed the drill you should have a practice and I will be using that thank you so much appreciate the techniques
The best way to appreciate these techniques is to be on the receiving end a few times . A palm strike to the neck is a fight ender .
Great stuff...a better variation on the palm to chin/head tilt back is to also turn their head once it goes back and they will go down even faster
The chin jab, Carl Cestari method 💯🏆
Thank you sir.
There's a 90s MMA promotion named the Lumax Cup. Only palm strikes allowed to the head, some brutal KOs.
great skills to master, thank you
Awesome!
Good video

Im 55 yrs old and need to learn self defense
I'm 66 and began instructing 40 years ago . It's never too late. All the best .
Go to a gym and train. Youd b suprised how friendly and welcoming they r, its usually a bunch of guys and gals just like u. If i could pass on some advice, id learn some basic boxing, stance, foot work, head movement, jab, cross, hook, uppercut. A little combatives, palm strike under the chin to snap their head back, open hand hook or smack to the ear. 1 or 2 judo tosses, hip toss. Takedown defense. U could learn these things pretty quickly, and b able to defend yourself against a good bit of the population. And then dive deeper from there. I really like Krav Maga, there is not 1 best system, but if i had to pick 1 system that could take an average person and teach them to b a well rounded defender in a fairly short amount of time, it is hands down krav or any good combatives system, which is just mma with some outside of the box extras, just try to verify that your learning the real stuff, there r alot of fakes out there. Boxing is very effective, it is hard to fight a good boxer, very hard, u may end up asleep. Bjj is hands down the best at what it does, grappling, but u must know some striking to, alot of ppl love training in bjj because u can go hard with eachother and not pound eachothers head in. Whatever u decide to learn, test what u learn, every system has techniques that dnt work that well in real life. And also, once u begin to learn some stuff, u start thinking that your john wick lol, so u need to spar and realize, oh im not as good as i thought i was yet. And u must know what it feels like to have punches coming at your head, u need to b comfortable with that feeling, or youll freeze or hesitate. This is just my 2 cents, i have a fair amount of experience with melee violence and ive trained a fair amount. Just thought id share some info from some1 who has done it.
Fast Fight is scary! What if the bad guys ( people with a criminal mind set) learn all this?
Put on some hand spikes and get grabby.
poor John
Need to see what kind of reaction these strikes cause. The guy isn't going to just stand there motionless. If the other one is training strikes on doesn't react, how can one be confident of any results. Just really annoys me when trainers demonstrate such techniques but the one he's demonstrating on doesn't simulate the response one would want to cause. Kung Fu San Soo videos show how the strikes cause reactions.
I can see your point exactly. But also, when a person is explaining how to do something you do not need the other person doing something back to you. That comes later.
@@jimlowe5433 HOGWASH
@@jimlowe5433 NOT doing something back at you you moron. The reactions I'm talking about are the spinal reflexes. If I kick you full power with all my body mass into your groin, u will buckle over, not try and hit back. Get a job in the movies.
@@glennrobinson7193 ... Good one👍
