But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7, now how do we distinguish these people? Matthew 7:19‭-‬20 Jesus says Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

It's not girl power. He used his daughters for his own power fulfillment. He manipulated or maybe even forced them to marry and become a widow in order to expand his land. He TRAINED them to become someone HE could use. He didn't let them grow as they wanted to be and took away their freedom... Its like using girls as tool. And if we say it is girl power then it inforces people to believe that using girls for their own satisfaction is girl power. This is messed up.

Now all he's got to do is make that socially acceptable in the Mongol Empire which would only take a few decades. After that, he can do what he did with his daughters, and threaten neighboring kingdoms with invasion or being gay. Idk about you guys, but I'd rather change my sexuality then die. Realistically, if he employed both strategies he could've had more puppet kingdoms. Unfort.

Because the daughter doesn't "gain power"? I mean, seriously? What does that even mean? Political power? Power in the relationship? It's such a typically western lens of looking at women in history. Just dealing with vague concepts like "power", as if that word alone means anything in a history filled with nuance. Let me just tell you, when women like Marie Antoinette are married off and are later executed by their people, it had a lot to do with what they did with their "power" that they gained through marriage.
