I’m looking to retire in GA in a couple of years. My parents just bought a new build 3 acres in Williamson GA but everything is too far from their house. Looking somewhere closer to Atlanta.
I have lived in Fayette County all my life. It was a VERY NICE town back in the day. Now it is slowly dyeing or I should say it is becoming another Clayton County.. I refuse to go to Fayetteville to eat out. The Fayetteville Pavilion is a great place to go to be robbed. Lets not forget that the mayor and council just approved 4 or 5 Liquor stores and I'm guessing Pawn shops and buy here pay here lots will be next. Remember she here to sell you a home. She is a SALES PERSON. Buyer beware.

Speaking of which if living in Fayetteville is so bad it’s really strange that the population has exploded in the past couple of years and people are still moving to Fayetteville in droves. @@vickybryant Their moving here from other areas that are bad like California because of the studios South Fulton and Clayton Co . That’s nothing to be proud of. The good people are leaving in droves. I know things change as time goes on but this is very sad that north of fayetteville has gone the way of Clayton and is alway in the paper with crime for the surrounding county coming into Fayetteville.
Fayetteville is a great place to live. People have been trying the Fayetteville is turning into Clayton County for many years because of racism, and jealousy. Check the statistics in Fayetteville, and the Niche rating, Newnan has much more crime than Fayetteville and you never hear the comparison to Clayton County.
Where did you get that lie from? Because there's been an increase of European Americans, African Americans and Latin Americans to Fayetteville. Fayetteville has a low crime rate. So your racism needs to be checked because your perception doesn't reflect the reality of Fayetteville and no, low crime doesn't equate to no crime.
