  • Jonathan Dick was one of Australia’s most wanted men for more than two years after killing his brother with a sword in a Melbourne shopping centre. While on the run the fugitive also tried to kill his former best friend who turned the tables on the killer and brought him to justice. He and his family tell ACS exclusively about living on Jono’s kill list, being stalked and attacked and the surprise ending that means this nightmare may never end.

Sweetheart. Don't apologize for your language. MUCH stronger words are needed to describe this injustice. I've experienced a bit of this, but I was alone. Cheers to you & your family. May God Bless You & keep you well.

Showing up at your door late at night with a knife isn't a threat?!! Absurd! Mom is shocked Johnathan has problems although he was separated from the family and made to live in a shed. Justice for the mentally ill but not the victims.

Why in the world would the high school friend write to him in prison!? To clear her own conscience bc she didn’t alert anyone that he was bonkers? Now she’s put herself as risk for when he gets out.

She knew immediately it was her son that killed that was the killer, she just couldn't admit it to police I'll never know what that would feel like but she kept so many people in danger for so long

David and his wife are survivors... amazing and strong. I wish them peace. The justice system did nothing to protect them before, during and after. I've never looked for others to protect my well-being. This story is yet another reason as to why. You are the ONLY ONE that can truly protect yourself. Be safe and be well ✌️

Should be "well enough to stand trial" not "well enough to be free" dafuq?!? Sounds just as fkd up as our legal system in USA

Just the ordinary lacking from the woke police and corrupt justice department.

After David picked up the hammer and chased Jona, he was asked what he would have done if he caught Jona, he should have said "I would beat him with the hammer, because it is better to give than to receive". 😂😂

    Appallingly weak sentencing laws.
    Guaranteed death penalty/LWOP in America.

Did the sword belong to a samurai? So, it is NOT a samurai sword. At best, it is a Japanese sword.. more likely it is just a copy of a Japanese sword.
