There's this silly tradition in Romanian weddings in which the bride is being "kidnapped" and the groom needs to do some gesture to get her back. Me and my fiance really hate that silly nonsense and I made sure that no such tradition will be held at out wedding. Midway through our wedding, the music stops and my best friend takes the mic and, sure enough, announces that the bride has been kidnapped and I need to sing a song to get her back. My mind went blank. I tried to think of a song but I couldn't remember any lyrics. The crowd requested an Otis Redding song but I got nothing. I composed myself for half an hour in a small room, practiced my scales, returned to the wedding hall and sang "We", a cappella. Obviously, nobody knew this song, but it got a huge reaction and I got my wife back. This is a perfect song.
Thanks yet again for not only the excellent cover tune, but for introducing me to yet another artist that I was unaware of! Great job by ALL, and okay, maybe that Milo kid has a future ahead of him, too :)
