I wouldn't be surprised if a company started the white sneaker trend. White shoes get dirty easier and it's hard to clean, meaning you'd probably buy a new pair from them sooner. But that's just a theory, a micro-theory
Fashion is cyclical. And white shoes were big in the late 90's and early 2000's. Which I found annoying as a young kid since everyone complained if you splashed mud, and in the area by the buses, so you almost had to walk through some mud sometimes since there wasn't that much standing or walking space.
When you say "bleach", do you also include oxygen based bleach (hydrogen peroxide)? Because if you do, cold water mixed with salt on fresh blood does the trick really well.
Funny enough, the answer is powdered meat tenderizer. Do do an initial rinse, then sprinkle on the powdered meat tenderizer and leave it be for 30 minutes before throwing it in the wash. The same enzyme that breaks down meat will break down blood.

For blood, rinse with cold saltwater before the blood has a chance to dry. The primary thing in blood that stains is the hemoglobin protein complex, so the key is preventing the protein from coagulating (thus using cold water before it dries) and displacing the iron ions (hence the salt). If it’s dried, a cold wash with bleach, or better yet a sodium percarbonate stain remover like OxiClean or Clorox 2 seems to be the most reliable option.
Cold water soak, baking soda paste, or a combo of the two. If you need a super quick solution, dab hydrogen peroxide on the spot. I used to leak a lot at night and have had to clean my fair share of blood-stained underwear and pj bottoms.

I feel moderately confident in saying one of (if not the) best methods of cleaning any and/or all of them is something of a mix of all of the above. Step 1: DRY BRUSH!!! Remove as much dirt, grime, etc. as you can BEFORE USING WATER!!! Paper towel for oily grease, a dry soft-bristled brush for the loose dirt and sand. Step 2: Wet Clean. Now we use our water-based variants. A small amount of micellar water and magic eraser to get all the big messes. Toothbrush for the bigger ones. Step 3: Stain Removal. This is where the peroxide, toothpaste, and baking soda come into play. Mostly peroxide and baking soda, but with a little toothpaste just to make some bubbles. Work that in there and let it SIT!!! Do NOT remove the paste immediately, but let it sit for several minutes. After 5-10 minutes, magic eraser for big surfaces, and toothbrush for small ones. That won't work perfectly, but I think it would do a better job than any of the other options (Minus the power washer, lol!)
