Is the timing change replacement the biggest mechanical job on a car ? Can’t see any other jobs taking longer

its not long at all, engine rebuilds take much longer if your on a ramp you can get the engine removed, chain replaced and fitted again in around 10hours. Some mechanics who do it day in an out get it done within a few hours.
