Thanks for the final review of the Deluxe Insecticons. As I‘ve stated in your video on Barrage, you can slide Barrage‘s head forward in Robot mode so it doesn’t take a Grimlock backseat and is much better proportioned. Probably the most articulated G1 Transformers toy and my absolute favorite (I‘m totally biased for reasons commented in your Barrage video).

Nope, I haven't picked up a new transformer since 86 Studio Series Brawn. I thought about getting Ultra Magnus, but that price is hefty! I've been searching for Snarl like crazy with no luck. I'm hoping to catch some holiday deals on transformers this holiday season . BTW, what was your last transformers pick up?
@@80sTransfromersFan I picked up that Bumblebee Studio Series Optimus Prime the Target exclusive one and I grabbed the Studio Series ROTB Optimus Primal. I’m on the fence about the Ultra Magnus myself I’m gonna get it but that price yo, I know if Hasbro does that annual sale that maybe one of the first to go so I have to stay on point with it.
@@80sTransfromersFan facts, I want that 2 pk too but it’s so many I’ve been trying to play the waiting game, I grabbed a few others like the 4 pk troop builder target exclusive and the 2 pk Ironhide and Prowl on a crazy clearance and/or sale and missed out on the Armada Optimus and don’t wanna miss out on that Ultra. We’ll see how it plays out when it comes to some kinda sale.

May I ask if you were able to get a Fans Hobby Power Baser (aka Powermaster Optimus Prime) transformer? I actually recently got the Fireguts God Ginrai version of the Power Baser. It's beautiful, it's like they kept true to the original Powermaster appearance and design while making it more detailed. Sorry to ramble on your Insecticons video, if it helps I have the reissues from 2000 or so era from Takara, I miss my old green beetle looking deluxe Insecticon I had over 35 years ago. As for mentioning Optimus (again, sorry) I think my final pieces of my Transfomers collection will be the regular Power Baser Optimus Prime with God Armor and weapons and a massive Devastator set. I've seen others but since my Takara Power master Optimus broke apart recently when cleaning, I am afraid to get Takara stuff from the early 2000's Oh, I think the name of my old deluxe Insecticon was called "Barrage" or something, it looked like a green June bug. It was one of my favorite Christmas toys when things were good at those times.
Yeah man. Even as a kid back then I knew the "deluxe" Insecticons thing was BS. The ridiculous colors and the style didn't match at all. The original Insecticons were the deluxe version to me.
Original Insectons looked way better then this Series. But can anybody Answer this? I heard that either this series or the original insecticons could be combined into a bigger bot?
They have Ransack in the current Transformers Legacy line w/ the other deluxe insecticons on the way

I only have the Takara versions of Powermaster Optimus/ Ginrai and Fireguts. I also own Nucleon Convoy.

@wolvie667 They're both originals, but I get it. Neither set is able to combine in any way.
Never owned any deluxe Insecticons but i like the look of this bot i hope some 3rd party releases the deluxe Insecticons in Mp scale
I think they have a 3rd version of these guys made about 5-6 years ago now.
