Before watching big 3 my fav anime was AOT but after watching big 3 now my personal fav anime is Bleach 😩🙌
BLEACH literally created and solidified the fundamental structure of the new gen shounen animanga:
-MC that has a relatable goal does not follow typical shounen troupes
-giving supernatural powers in our normal world instead of a completely new fictional world
-Darker theme in shounen
-Characters that live in a grey side(neither good nor bad)
-A group of protectors who keep balance and peace within the world
All of these features that the new gen shounen (like JJK,Demon Slayer,MHA,Chainsaw Man,Black Clover,Hell's Paradise etc)use was popularised by BLEACH. In terms of influence on modern shounen,bleach is no.1 and it's not even close. Gege(author of jjk) said multiple times in interviews that bleach is his favourite animanga. Even othet mangakas of different series told how much bleach impacted their work. So give BLEACH the G.O.A.T the respect it deserves🗿

Vyuk sensei I started watching bleach after this video and now I am on episode 228 as of today, I freakin love it, moreover I would say I like the interesting concept of each power tailored for individual character which depict not just their sole character but their inspirations, their motives and their group as individual personalities. I try to understand stories and want to write an interesting one
The reason why Bleach has inspired new gen cuz its more modern than one piece and naruto ,the basic theme of ninjas and pirates brings one to past , its too obvious ,its not a bad thing but the timeline that strikes us is more like PAST , whereas Bleach wins when it comes to timeline cuz it feels like infinite , their are characters living for 100 and 1000s of years ,it may seem a minor plot but the new gens JJK , DS , MHA(the one for all heroes) all are based on it as it gives varieties of storyline to discover , not restricting to a certain period like in Naruto where the generations are not so well explored cuz it feels repeated eg Boruto characters in modern time is straight up copy of Naruto timeline , All past timelines like Hashirama and Madara or ashura or indra all have some typical copycat thing or moreover a past rivalry
Point 2 - Bleach is edgy ,it is not afraid to show blood ,"I do feel fan service is actually bad " but the blood and war is conveyed better in bleach , OP sucks in this , no really it sucks ,From starting characters do not die and even the characters that got killed while fighting straw hats are not shown brutally dead even if zoro literally cuts them , their is always same old blood in mouth and unconciousness . its because Straw hats needs to be conveyed good and you know what good people do not kill people brutally they just defeat them , For case of Ace , it was not as emotional as deaths in Naruto .Naruto plays with emotional connect with enemy that makes us feel bad for them even though they don't show edgy and blood that much but they convey the death in deautiful way recent example DS ,it tries to reduce brutality , Example of brutallity JJK Gojo vs toji , It was straight up edge .it feels brutal ,brutal enough to run chill down the spine.
Point 3 - Bleach character designs are better , its obvious why new gen try to copy Attacks like Bankai ie Domain expansion because it gives varities to calculate attacks ,to look beautiful and to bring it on larger scale , Whereas Naruto has old ninja tools to be used efficiently like naruto ,sasuke and zabuza fight ,it made me excited to see what they can do more .
Demerits
Bleach was not able to explore its vast world like OP
Bleach sucks in conveying emotion whereas Naruto tops it and OP comes second
Bleach can never surpass Unpredictibility of MC like Luffy cuz he just do things on his own
Still all three shows are inspirational . but for me as a story writter , Bleach will make base for plot , OP for world building and Naruto for emotions
Bro bleach world building is very vastly explored but we are given the info of ancestors of soul society like noble clans in novel of bleach.
Bro I can tell you bleach world building in vast as what bleach has explained
1.) World of the living (world where humans live)
2.) Karakura town
3.) Soul society(this is a realm where souls come after cleansing by shinigami with zanpakuto)
4.) Rukon district(this is where all the souls live who are cleansed by shinigami as we have seen a kid who got helped by chad explaining it)
5.) Seireitei (where all the shinigami lives like captain, lieutenant and other seats member live )
6.) Hueco mundo(where hollow,adjuchas and lord lives and is land for those hollows )
7.) Valley of screams (shown in first movie of bleach it is a place where the souls who have lost their memories are present in an infinite number)
8.) Dangai ( it is also called precipice world and have a diff space time cut from world of the living and soul society and time as diff in these place and it is a path way btw soul society and world of the living which is handled by a cleaner )
9.) Wanderiench (this is place where Quincy lives and it was in anime stated that they live in shadow of soul society to gather reishi )
10.) Royal palace ( it is palace where soul king lives and squad 0 are care taker of it, each squad zero member have there own island as well and in the top soul king place)
11.) Reverse london ( it is a place in world of the living shown in burn the witch which is written by kubo and it is western branch of soul society where they kill dragons to protect ppl)
12.) Hell( it is place for sinners and shown in bleach movie and recently in manga it is stopped at hell arc and it has five layers as according to movie where souls were send to the layer according to there sin and no one gets killed in it )
13.) Muken ( it is lowest level of soul society and is a seperate space where very worst sinners are send like aizen and ken pachi azashiro and is place which is covered by infinite shadows and darkness{told in CFYOW novels of bleach} )
