I know right! For some people to us aviation geeks, the plane noise can be annoying to them. But then it's like, "PEOPLE, the entire aircraft does not need to hear your conversation. If you watch A220-300 video LAX-SAT, you'll hear what I'm talking about. Got this one guy behind me in first class & swear this one guy is using every curse word in the book it seems talking to his buddy.
It’s when the engine needs air to go in it, it’s gonna make a sound where it will increase the engine so you can speed up and takeoff fast but if u wondering what it’s called it’s a roar of an engine
The 3 very loud jet engines sound battle! IAE V2500 (A320 (family), except the A318) vs Rolls-Royce Trent 800 (B777) vs General Electric TF39 (C-5 Galaxy) Which one is the best? ✈️🔊🛫
It wasn’t a flex. TOGA is required on contaminated runways. The lack of buzzsaw with TOGA thrust during humid conditions is very common with the IAE V2500.
@@inflight_aviation I know for a fact that TOGA is required for contaminated runways specifically at Spirit airlines. That I know for a fact. Ask me how I know 😄. Takeoff performance will vary a LOT depending on the aircraft GW, which is an unknown variable in this case.
@@inflight_aviation I know a guy 😉 but in all seriousness, I _would_ say maybe the crew overlooked that TOGA requirement, but that’s impossible as the Takeoff data uplink calculation will force TOGA thrust if WET CONTAM is selected.
@@inflight_aviation I think you misunderstood. So pretty much the numbers are sent off (weight/wind/runway length & contam and other variables) to a server that calculates the data and returns it to aircraft. The return includes thrust setting (FLEX or TOGA). If you select WET rwy contam, the calculator will suggest only TOGA thrust for that departure.
@@blumac9801 I’m aware of the TO Data uplink on the Airbus, but the wet-contam mode doesn’t always mandate TOGA depending on the airline and other conditions.
That V2500 shut everyone the hell up. Pure power right there.
When you can’t hear the v2500 on takeoff that means packs were off too
Packs are on on taxi and takeoff roll its just the engine winding back
What a roar! The engines really said "if you don't shut up then i'll shut you up" on that thrust reduction lol. Amazing video nevertheless ;)
EXACTLY!
The engines making the people shut up never felt so satisfying
i love how the thrust reduction shut everyone tf ip
That thrust reduction 👌🤩
Those engines sure humbled her lol
I know she was rude asf until the V2500 kicked in.
Lord that lady in the back in killing me lol! Awesome video my friend!
Deadass lol like stfu bro😂😭😭nah thank you man I tried my best

I just heard that and I love the IAE engine sound on takeoff. It sound's very musical.
Takeoff is one of my favorite moments in a flight!
Amazing channel! You've just earned yourself a new subscriber!
Was that you trying to shush her because she was hella annoying
Amazing sound bro!
That lady was enjoying herself 😂😂😂
Anyone know what that noise is at 9:28

Pilot Reduced engines from takeoff thrust
Classic TO/GA Power!
Interesting but where did you get his info? Did you record the sound signature or something? Seems weird. @@inflight_aviation
You can hear it go into the FLX then TOGA detent.
@@Roboseal2 it's spirit SOP to use TOGA on wet/contaminated runways

This is a CEO
I’m pretty sure 99% of viewers are aware of this
No, not quite. The engine revs are different on the NEO.
I saw an Md 11 livery is ups 0:03
some people just shouldnt have vocal chords
IAE engines
Don't you just hate obnoxious people?
Slightly doubtful it was a TO/GA takeoff instead of a Flex takeoff 🤓
