pewdiepie’s pancake recipe’s been my go to for years. it’s seemingly a simple thing to make, but for me it always felt like a gamble. his proportion is perfect, though, works every single time
he seems like such a good cook!
Link for the pancake video please 😅
@@vpriya66 i agree
Honeysuckle is always too nice to some of these people 😂
Note to self: never watch Honeysuckle's videos on an empty stomach! The last recipe seems really good, totally deserves the crown :)
So I recently made the banana egg pancake, and used an immersion blender to mix the eggs and banana, I also used baking soda in my batter. It turned out pretty decent when had with maple syrup. Didn't puff up a lot though.
For pewdiepie's recipe, you mentioned the veggie ground beef tasted like mushrooms. Some vegan/veggie brands make a more vegetable-y (?) ground beef, but for stuff like this I much prefer a more neutral tasting one. Impossible meat is the GOAT and you can find it most places, it's very similar to real ground beef.
I love these new style of videos you're doing! So entertaining. Thank you!
the first one didn't even deserve 3 stars - jarred sauce and NO seasoning? BLAND!
it actually wasn't tooo bad! college kids level - good.
She was very generous to him lol. “Crispy pasta” was where he lost me, I had to go sit down.
Nothing wrong with pasta from a jar, you just gotta add a bit to it. I usually treat it as tomato sauce
Lots of people use jarred sauce. Seasoning your meat is important though. Usually we add salt, pepper, garlic, and onions. He looked young.
@@evilmissmunchkin it's probably meant to be a joke just like the whole video don't take it too seriously
Love this format with your personality! So fun and charming
your videos making me feel precious af (in the manliest way possible)
Another super fun concept! Thanks for these videos, I'm having a lot of fun watching them! 😊🤩
This was so much fun. Loving these videos ❤❤❤
Oooooh boy, I'm not Swedish or anything, but I don't think cream and soy sauce should be considered "gravy" anywhere in the world...
Because it's not, we call it "gräddsås" which literally translates to "cream sauce"
Maybe Pewdiepie used cranberry because not everyone outside Sweden can get to an Ikea food market to get lingonberry jam easily, but I credit you with using lingonberry, since it is the Swedish original.
I make my grilled cheese that way but I just drop my butter in the pan. I also cook it on a low heat to give the cheese time to melt. It really is better that way and I don't know why.
Michelle phan’s green bean casserole looks so watery. I think the homemade pb&jelly should have gotten a ten!
It was a toss up between the last two! But the casserole was soooo good, I ate half the pan in one sitting 😅
@@honeysuckle oh no 😬
ur such a genuine soul
If u do a part 2 Ryan Higa has a serie name Cooking but not really
Try re create dishes from famous cook8ng shows
oooh, like which ones?
@@honeysuckle maybe a rachel ray dish, Nigella Lawson also has a really good ice cream recipe
@@honeysuckle Masterchef!
Ooh or like those random talk show ones? That would be so fun!
It's funny how Ryan got rated separately 😂
Michelle - Cornflour is what should be used as a thickener. Flour will clump and sauce/ gravy will taste floury 👎
With the banana and eggs, add some oat flour and 2 tablespoon of sugar alternative and there yummy
Aaaaand subscribed ♥
You should definitely review Cooking with Remi!!
Great video!!
I feel like you’re being way too nice and generous with those ratings lol that pasta looked super bland and I know those banana pancakes tasted like eggs and everything else just doesn’t look great
The first one is a joke actually, that's why he's rated out of 5 instead of 10. It's just like a thing among yt star community that everyone just love Ryan Trahan.
I love your channel❤🎉❤❤
That looks like the cold dry grilled cheese they used to put in the field trip bagged lunches in elementary school. -8 stars for bad flashbacks
I have never been so early to a video before
Omggg Michelle Phan. Such a legend.
That really is a good looking grilled cheese tho 😂
Surely, citrus peel provides the pectin needed to make the 'jelly'.
5 stars for that dudes “penny pasta” made me suspish on the balance of reviews! 😢
It’s a play on his rating system. There’s a reason why he’s first and 5 stars, while the rest were out of #/10. 😜
@@honeysuckle I know, I know! I trust your taste implicitly!
I've tried to make the banana and egg pancakes so many times, and they never come out right. I mean, I'm also not a good cook, in general, but I'm gonna blame, I dunno... society. Yeah, let's go with society.
Hey there. Could you please try recipes that Nara Smith makes for a week?
That would be funnnnn 😊
You made it very delicious.
Coconut oil - such a fad at one time. 🙄 Min neutral oil or butter is fine. Bananas are naturally sweet so coconut oil not necessary
Love you ❤❤❤

How can you give that Turkey Pene a high rating? Bland Turkey Unsalted boiled Pene and (gulp) Ragu I didn't even have to taste it and I can tell it's a 1 YUCK!!!
Is it really required to bake the last recipe? I don't see what baking did there
I think it ties the dish together and thickens the sauce. Also re-crisps the fried onions!
@@honeysuckle makes sense, thanks for the reply!
None of these recipes/videos from them are particularly good, you are too kind :D
I make homemade peanut butter all the time, but I only use peanuts. You don't need to add oil since peanuts have a natural oil. If you want to keep it vegan, be careful when you buy peanuts. Planters regular salted have gelatin added for some strange reason. The lightly salted are just peanuts and salt though.
I enjoyed this video. Thanks for making it! :) :)

Danke!!
I’ve been wondering this, what does she do with the food, like does she eat it all or?
Hehe we film it over a few days so we def end up eating it for lunch or save for dinner! Sometimes I repurpose the ingredients and turn it into something else! Esp that face burger thing… turned it into chili! 😊
It's too bad french cut green beans are the devil.
American Cheese....
i love these videos but most of the times 5 stars is an absolute reach
Hehe notice the progression of the rating system in the video. I didn’t have the heart so made a play on his rating system (watch his 1 star vids… he started the trend) 😊
Vegetable meat? Really? Didn't know that now we have animals made of vegetables....
Oh come on 🤦♀️🤦♀️ it’s for vegan people to eat “meat” without actually eating the real deal. It’s honestly not that hard to understand
The pasta looks bland!!
Well the first 5 star rating is a joke lol, also he's the only one who got rated out of 5 star instead of #/10 star. It's just a thing online where no UA-cam star have the heart to hate Ryan Trahan because well, he's just not dislike able.
Most bread is vegan ^^'
I guess I am behind because I have never heard of any of those YTubers. I didn’t find any of their recipes all that great either but also some were not strictly food YTubers, like you are (mostly), I did find that most did not give measurements which is annoying if you are not into cooking and want to try the recipes.
Same here. Never heard of them
Dude, Ryan Trahan is the only one I'm subscribed to and watch, but I have still heard of the others.
Ragu is gross.
Pewdiepie meatballs
Oh no Casey has become so problematic
Wow I’m early ❤❤
It’s not pronounced penny, it’s penne. Italian, look it up
But you knew what she meant tho😂
How tf u give the first guy 5 stars? It's not spaghetti, it's Ragusa sauce, probably the worst jarred sauce, then crap parm. No salt, no pepper. Girl, u need to be honest with reviews. I haven't seen many of ur vids, but u always seem to 5 star everything and even comments reflect this.
6/10 for cooking a grilled cheese. It's no Gordon Ramsey grilled cheese, but I love how u ditched the star system and gave him a percentage. Wild.
Sighhhh it’s not that serious. It was a play on his rating system since he’s known for the one star trend.
@@honeysuckle i'll admit, i don't know this person, u said with he's mr beast, don't watch him either, and i think that's why we see such high numbers on his videos.
i don't know know anything about him, but from a culinary standpoint, cmon, u know that is just one star, keeping his image as the trend u described. be honest with us. unseasoned pasta, watered down tomato paste with a bunch of unseasoned bits of chunks?
i'll admit, i did watch the rest of the video, and it did significantly improve from there. they seemed very creative and at the very least i'd give anything beyong 27 grilled cheeses a shot
Yay! I’m so happy you gave the rest of the video a shot. The pb&j and the green bean casserole were delicious!!
Re: the pasta - I don’t expect a college kid to make anything better than that. At 18 or 19yo, knowing how to make a meal like that is great! I think at that age my cooking skills were about the same too. They have to start somewhere! 😊
Pewdiepie hot dog
Ryan obviously meant al dente - he needs to go back to school 🙄 It’s lazy not made from scratch
The thing that makes me cringe most about PewDiePie's video is that he's a literal neonazi
I can't believe you gave penne pasta and a jar of Ragu (terrible sauce) 5 stars. You shouldn't be judging food.
Womp womp
Haha you’re obviously not a Ryan fan cause IYKYK 😜
Ryan is the best, your scoring is nonsensical across the board. But it’s obviously trolling
As soon as I saw the plastic wrapped American singles I was out...
That stuff is abhorrent.
Ok, CummyPancakes.
Good American cheese is worth chasing down, and is available from nicer delis and cheesemongers. You can also make it yourself. It's essentially just sour salt (sodium citrate) and whatever blend of cheeses you'd like, from fancy to pedestrian. One of the nice things about making it at home is that you can compound it with things like roasted garlic or reduced wine, making it sort of like a slice of fondue. Absolutely fantastic on a grilled cheese or burger. An American cheese made from red wine and bleu cheese with mild cheddar is killer on a burger with some caramelized and/or fried onions.
I know of no "good" cheese that comes in plastic wrapped slices, no matter what kind of cheese it claims to be. On the other hand, I can recognize that it's often a comfort food for many people or it is a simple luxury within their budget. I like classic Campbell's green bean casserole. Not because it is sophisticated, but because it is a personal comfort food. These aren't chefs demonstrating technique or cuisine, they are individuals sharing what they eat. I'd never begrudge somebody finding their joy in any food.
