Wow man. What a fantastic story mode. I love this season and the Raw season. I consider this, No Mercy, and WWE 13 the best wrestling games. I love how you point out the fighting game esq parts of this game, I never thought about that aspect. Very entertaining, I love how you made your own cannon with the Kia Ultimo and stuff. Your clever commentary and references to real life storylines were amazing for a mark like me who gets all of that stuff. I can wait for the SVR play through, Champions Run and The 2.0 Seasons. i am a few months late to this, just finished binging the whole Ultimo run, and allow me to point out how PERFECT that ending was. - Ultimo, his tag partner, your previous guy RVD were all on the wrestlemania main card, and, - all of them won. - Both Ultimo and Rey won a feud against Vince McMahon - RVD revisited his previous feud with Rock, which is classic WWE early 2000's booking IRL - one of the kicks that was barely connecting throughout the playthrough, finally connected AND caused Undertaker to fall off the cell. - and most importantly, Ultimo Dragon defeated Taker. At Wrestlemania. Ultimo Dragon BROKE THE STREAK.
I agree with the text based story stuff, opens up possibilities for tons of paths and loads of character variety. Really hope the open the newer games out to modding a bit more. It would be really cool to be able to import community created storylines and stuff like that. Looking forward to whatever's next for the channel!

Totally agree about the text based season mode. It opens up much more possibilities and creates a much more flexible experience with more variations. And like you said you can put any character into the scenarios and make it unique to that character if you want.
BONUS MATCH IDEA WINNER TAKE ALL CHAMPION VS CHAMPION RVD VS ULTIMO DRAGON 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS. God how I missed the days where you could actally change the match type to a different one. Not like now when you win you can win again in seconds. Great play though I remember my ending you can actually turn heel and smack the opponent with the tittle and kick em a few times right after the handshake I believe. I think you need to be the champion first and had a special referee match involved in it somewhere.
Also, I think the perfect wrestling game would be this games gameplay and graphics, No Mercy’s rag doll physics, this games roster, SYM’s arenas and interactivity and tittles, and a mix of the current game roster and pepole from this game who are not in the current ones. As well as this games season mode with full voice acting for all storylines and wrestlers. (I’k it wouldn’t be possible but let me dream) Titled, WWE Revenge.

I used to love playing this and SYM. Hopefully its true about the remastered version for PS4 that they've been working on. Be nice if you did either Brock/Taker/Eddie SD. Or another Raw.. TheRock/Gberg/HHH. But overall loving the uploads dude. Keep them coming
I did the SmackDown season mode for the same as in your playlist. Except, I used Roddy Piper in which I didn’t realize that this legend I used was Cruiserweight.
Okay I did some testing and I can confirm that whenever the player is going up against the CPU, the former's attacks appear to be weakened when going against the latter (I'd say the player's attacks appear to be roughly 10% weaker on a CPU). However, I also noticed that if it's a player vs. player match, you will deal more damage to each other than when two CPUs are going against each other. Example: If Brock (COM) does Test Full Nelson Slam 2 on Goldberg (COM), the latter's body will not flash red, but if Brock (1-P) does the same move on Goldberg (2-P), then the latter's body will flash red. I believe this may have something to do with the game making the player's endurance lower than what it actually is. So, it may not be our strength, but rather our endurance being lower than what it actually is.
Also I saw a comment seguesting RVD Vs Ultimo. I think it should be a 3 stages of hell Hardcore TLC Title Hell in a cell I think you could bundle it in with the bonus video as a bonus bonus. And you should get alts for Ultimo and maybe do it with the 2.0 mod, that would be an epic send off for the main seasons!

The reason why your moves don't make his body flash red is because the game most likely placed a handicap on the player to make us weaker than we should be bro. I actually commented this in a previous video. It sucks, but I guess it's the developers' way of making the Season mode more challenging for the player lol

I love the black and white scene at the end showing the shoot side of wrestling and how people mostly act backstage

Coming back to this comment to debunk this, it's just the game placing a +2 endurance buff on the CPUs. The players are unaffected.

IMO the Mt Rushmore of wrestling games is No Mercy, Here Comes the Pain, SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, and WWE 2K19 (the only good 8th gen WWE game IMO)
