I have been playing smack down games since WWF Smackdown on PS1. This is the first time I have ever heard about pressing select to change characters in a tag team match!
Some notes:
1 - I bet that book is about how Kane is gonna run for mayor
2 - I can confirm that Undertaker burned down his and Kane's funeral home in storyline (Bro, remember when Taker attacked Paul Bearer in his home? One of my favourite Taker segments ever)
3 - I'd say some of my favourite RVD attires is his red dragon attire from SVR2007 or his black/grey/purple attire from SVR2006
4 - Lance Storm and Victoria's dancing gimmicks are in WWE Day Of Reckoning on Gamecube.
I hope you get a chance to play it (Also, I'm still up for that dual commentary thing if you ever do it)
5 - Ultimo Dragon (or if you wanna play as a heavyweight, Sean O'Haire) for Smackdown season mode please
6 - RVD's blue attire in this game is similar to one he had on those super weird flexible WWE action figures. I had that exact action figure back in the day.
7 - To be fair.... I'd eat all the pizza. No anchovies though.
8 - Yes. WWE did publish a Kane and Undertaker book once called "Journey Into Darkness" that was all kayfabe and told their backstories and Katie Vick etc etc... but those WWE comic books with Kane, Taker and Mankind from 1998 though?
9 - RVD's birthday is on December 18th..... this in-game storyline takes place in June.
10 - I'm okay with 30 to 45 minute or 1 hour long videos.
11 - Tables + Ladders + These games = Old school bump videos from back in the day
12 - Look at how AMAZING this TLC Match was. Quick, arcade-style, no long animations, crazy spots. Beautiful.
This game is absolute classic, I remember when they aired the trailer on the spike game awards in 2003 they had showed Brock Lesnar with one or two of his elbow pads I wish it was in the final product. I wonder why they cut it out.

51:06 Developers do talk about wrist tape not being on their games on stars sometimes, it's simply because they forgot about it or couldn't do it in time 2K does the same thing but even more down 3:29 Christian doing his inner Damien Sandow . The Kane Storyline you're dealing with in the 1st half of the video is a few tag team storylines that happened in real life but the most one they target on is The Rock n Sock Connection storyline . If you chose not to read the bio book , your partner will indeed hit you with the cake when you go out in the ring on the party segment , if you don't come out your partner simply will fight you at the ppv (38:30 btw people have done that in their playthroughs believe me ,it shocked me aswell) i remember a bunch of stuff from this game and if you keep the hardcore title every damn month ,you're gonna be hunted since the title is 24/7 so i suggest just leaving it alone , sadly this is the last game to do that rule, the reason why Kane looks worse is because THQ wanted Kane to look like a monster without the mask 10:35 Lance Storms "Hit the club" song is exclusively on Day of Reckoning and Storm is indeed one of your early opponents in that Game Story ,btw storm is doing the Austin Storyline when he's calling you boring their are different dialogues for the UK Shows and Regal was gonna take part in it again but it was scrapped because his updated model didn't get into the game in time. Now Strength in this game is op as hell you're not lying about that at all but the guide is right you are faster than lesnar and goldberg but their moves do more damage on you and it is balanced if you know how to play they give you cruiserweight move so striking and running grapple and running strikes are a big factor for cruiserweights it's very believable in my eyes due to you(a smaller star) having to do a lot to put superstars that are a 89 and up which i believer are Triple H, Goldberg,Lesnar,Undertaker (Old School),Animal,Hawk,Stone Cold,Kurt Angle it would've been worse if Hogan and Warrior made it into the game because their overalls were freaking 94 & 95 Lawler was suppose to be playable but it got scrapped , please buy Move-Sets 5-6 (Japanese Sets) and the Japanese Sets are from King Road style wrestlers like Musawa,Kobashi,KawadaHansen,Shinzaki,Vader,Hayabusa etc etc the moves are just awesome. I played on Smackdown Difficulty and let me just say it isn't hard it's just the A.I reversing every move and that's about it and it's been that way for a long time even now btw i never had to play cheap either i played as people like Test and Sean O' Haire btw their fun to play as but people like Booker T, The Rock,Taker,Stone Cold,Jericho,Angle they give you some moments within their moveset but Test Big Boot in this game is just the most Brutal Move in this game especially if your opponent is bleeding the slow motion sweat and blood pixels and Test boot just stays on the persons face is crazy , the reason why Orton still has his Rookie attire on is because Yukes and THQ were working on so many models in this game alone it's insane how much plans they had for this game alone through the start of SYM and the beginning of HCTP we would've had the best of the best example Hulk Hogan and 80's version ,Ultimate Warrior 31Mr. Perfect,Mick Foley,Bret Hart,Andre the Giant,Bob Backlund,Terry Funk,Hardcore Holly,
Jaimie Noble,Rosey/Jamal,Tommy Dreamer,Bill DeMott,Funaki,Shane McMahon,Crash Holly
,Jeff Hardy,Raven(Trunks Version),Ivory,Molly Holly,Coach,Gail Kim(yes Johnathan Coachman) Billy Kidman,Al Snow is playable but he'll just have the rocks modeletc etc,Team Angle Outfits for Kurt ,Benjamin & Haas. Yukes was very smart they knew they couldn't get some of these into the game so they put their parts and moves in the game put for custom characters, they work so heavy on Jeff Hardy and Lesnar that it's insane. Kane hasn't said "stop you're embarrassing me ever" and Respect and Attack does matter it results in your ending if you attack a lot in the Season Mode you turn Heel at Mania (if in a match), if you respect the superstar you turn face and celebrate at mania, if you just taunt the whole time then it's gonna be the same thing as a face but it depends on the choices you make near Mania time as well and their are also some Unique attacks example the F5 ,Chair Shots,Triple Hs Mounted punches,36:40 this storyline actually fits very well Triple H literally buried Kanes character to the max(Katey Vick) to the point he was forced to take off the mask so it's cool that kane is trying to win RVD and Triple H once again is making his time a living hell, The Dudleys are suppose to be World Tag champions by default,50:29 the dudley boys,Goldust and Booker T,DX,Eddie & Chavo and the Car entrance. Don't beat yourself up on the RVD without wrist tape things RVD at times go into ECW matches without it , it feels weird just like when Orton didn't have it back in 2010 or edge in his 04 Run sometimes, you gotta press L2 and R2 to block a finisher i believe. I remember I did a playthrough with Kurt Angle and got the tag team title storyline, Brock Lesnar was made my reluctant partner. After I won the titles I named the team Amateur Hour.
When I was a kid I’d never finish a match until I busted my opponent 😂

There were times where RVD didn't wear wrist tape. Not during matches (except maybe when he was younger), but possibly during run-ins and backstage segments, promos etc
You may already know by now but you can get double booked I also played as rvd and I opened the show and defeated Ric flair
I then defended my hardcore championship in losing effort in a triple threat match against triple H and Goldberg..
