One tip for using fingerless gloves in cold weather - put on a pair of nitril gloves. It doesn't reduce tactile sensitivity while keeping a low heat exchange especially when wet.
I have found putting foot powder on my feet and also in my socks has made significant difference in keeping my feet warm. It may act as a "liner" whicking moisture.
What would you recommend for socks and shoes or boots for winter time flats fishing? Fishing redfish from a skiff this time of year I’m not wading but on a warm day it’s 30 and we always have wind on the flats so it’s pretty cold. Need a good option for shoes, socks, and gloves! Maybe another jacket. That bulkley hand muff looks nice!
Brian, I love the Buckeye reference! Hopefully, nobody needs it in Atlanta and are too busy clapping! I can't wait to get out to visit MRO and the Shoe soon. O-H!

Good morning everyone,I was wondering if anyone has had good experiences with electric socks?I had some Therma Cell battery operated heating socks.Unfortunately they have discontinued the product and the phone app for operating them is shut down.I try to fly fish a lot in freezing weather and cold feet is the only thing that takes me out of the game.I am wondering about good quality battery operated heating socks as well.I appreciate your information on this topic.Tight lines and thank you kindly in advance.

Love the Simms gear. Got the Simms half finger wool gloves last year and they are surprisingly warm and comfortable.
