It's great to hear V sing in his natural range, rather than having to sing in a high tenor range. Not that I mind his high notes; I just like hearing him sing what he personally wants to sing.

To me western music kinda stopped coming up with New genre, Long Time Ago. @@komerican-og I think people just pull genres out of a hat. I've heard Black Swan categorized as emo hip hop, trap, R&B, or all of the above... What difference does it make? You like something, or you don't. When you label something as a particular genre, you may attract listeners, but you may also cause people to tune out without giving the music a chance.
I love this song especially by his vocal. Taehyung has a privileged voice, I know he is very beautiful but I love him by his beautiful, deep, soulful and amazing voice. 💜

I don’t think music videos should be analysed linearly. It wasn’t until I came across kpop that literal questions are often asked about music videos and how they relate to the songs. Abstraction. I guess. In karaoke we often sing for ourselves or at most for the group of people we are there with, or not even that, we sing WITH them. It is a social thing isn’t it? Yet he is alone. Same with rainy days. Singing alone. Connected only through technology, while he enjoys himself in an old fashion art of animation. Looking at himself, looming at the camera as if knowing he is being seen by others, then, The Truman Show reference. There is a theme in the two music videos and the songs.
