Thanks for your reaction. I think Taehyung is more than a K- Pop star. He is different, amazing, charismatic, and with his own style. Hyoshin and Taehyung's voices are perfect together. They have similar tone but with their own personality. The MV is a masterpiece very deep and complex, about the creator and the artist in front of his creatures and his creation. He was a sculptor who created a perfect woman but finally understood that he is a sculpture. There are a multitude of theories about the significance of this MV. I need to see Taehyung as an actor in a K Drama. 💜💜
With V, his MV’s are deep and he makes you really think about the music, the scenes and create the story through your own interpretation. Genius! This MV and song was filmed in 2022 in France. The storyline I think is based on the Greek Mythology of Pygmalion. A sculptor who carves an ivory statue of his ideal woman because he was disgusted with the women in his town. He falls in love with his statue and prays to Aphrodite to bring her to life. His ideal love and happiness. You see V alone and unhappy sculpting a female statue. She comes to life. Their happiness begins but strange memories keep occurring. Statue is destroyed. Red Jacket V in his imagination is dancing in a party atmosphere with all the statues that have been created until they all start disappearing because they are being broken. At the end V comes face to face with the Dark Coat V, the real Sculptor. As memories start flashing through his mind, he realizes it’s not real as he touches the carved X on his neck as all the other statues had. He realizes that he to was a creation looking at the sculptor and accepting his fate.
The same way I was thinking as I looked up the story of Pygmalion...loved how creative & unique V is with all his solo MV's. If ever BTS decides to break up, Tae will definitely go the acting route & probably even become a director as shown on the behind the scenes documentary on the making of this MV. He added a lot of input on the making of the MV, also his voice & Hyo Shin's blended so well together that a lot of people didn't even know when Hyo Shin started singing his part.
