Can’t wait to see it sorted out and working dirt. The family dairy farm started with work horses then to Moline tractors. The Moline’s got replaced with Farmall’s mostly because of dealer support and parts availability. Moline is one of if not thee most innovative tractor companies of all time. Very cool and thanks for sharing 🍻🇺🇸

You need to use MM hydraulic cylinders. The check valve is in the cylinder and not in the box on the tractor.

I recently discovered that and I bought a mm cylinder thanks for the heads up anyway

WHAT work? It runs like a Swiss watch! Now that you have a satc of classics you need to build a shed or a museum. Blessings! Motor favors a Buda. A THUMPER!

It’s the absolute loudest thing I’ve ever heard next to a nitro car
      It has lots of “problems”
      it won’t idle down
it definitely needs the second battery and bigger cables but that’s about it
Maybe adjust the clutch so it’s not so jumpy

I ran a D7F on a dam that had a NICE clearing cab, open, not dry and rubber shock bushings in iron mounts to the floor. The rubber mounts were shot and it was steel pins to steel or iron mounts, raw metal. Every time a pad passed a roller it sounded like someone on top hitting it with a 5 pound hammer! No ear muffs and cotton would hardy faze it. It's a miracle from the Lord I can still hear anything at all. the D8H had a straight pipe but no cab. I loved that bellow and the 6B had a roar all it's own.@@DrRust

That sounds like it was terrible
my dad always talks about the Cats and the wonderful sound they make with a straight pipe
someday I’ll get a d2 or d4 but probably not soon I’ve got way too many projects

It WAS terrible but you have to pay the light bill any way you can sometime. Your dad was right about the straight pipes. Get a D4 if you can find one or an old 6. The longer track frame works a lot smoother. The newer ones have an oil master clutch. I've run about all of them at one time or another but that was spanning over 50 years so I should hope so since I had more jobs than Carters had pills. 3 or 4 W-2's in one year but that was when a lot was going on. An 8H was the biggest and a 300 Case loader with the tractor rear end was about the smallest. The last one was a D5K LGP and the crusher had a D6R XL high track. I'd just as soon run a 6C and be done with it. I LOVED every minute of it but there comes a time when you have to stay home and just mow grass!@@DrRust

    ❤no 403 diesel or g 4cyl diesel engine

They did try a 403d but it didn’t go well
So they built the 425 diesel 6 cylinder in 1954 in the GTB D and only built like 850 of them then in 55 they switched to the GB D with the big fenders
