‘Vaadi’ has nothing to do with all the random Bollywood songs people are mentioning lol. It samples ‘Vaadi Vaadi Nattukkattai’ by legendary composer Vidyasagar. The song was originally in the movie ‘Alli Thandha Vaanam’ starring another legend Prabhu Deva. My label (Island) paid the copyright owner (Best Audio) for the rights to SAMPLE the song. If you don’t know what that means please go google it!
All these peeps going on about Aa Re Pritam or whatever... please go do the research. Various companies and Bollywood producers have remade Vaadi Vaadi in different languages and adaptations over the years but the original is Tamil :)

Guys it’s not from “Rowdy Rathore” or “Radhe Govinda”, it’s originally a Tamil song: Vaadi Vaadi Nattukatta from Alli Thandha Vaanam from 2001. I’m not even Tamil, I’m just not stupid and know how to do a BASIC GOOGLE SEARCH.
Also he’s not a copycat, he’s a REMIX ARTIST by profession and I’m sure he got copyrights for that song. His use of the the song was an ode to his Tamil heritage.
