Wow this is amazing! Before I was looking at other air mattress leak videos and they all got it wrong but with yours I was able to find the leak instantly! 5 stars
Thanks so much. I was told that when you use a patch it would still leak, so it was suggested that I use Tube sealant that is traditionally used on tires. I am going to try it today. I purchased a tube from Walmart in the camping section. It is by Slime. It's green.
Report back if it works! We found that, if we could, putting the patch inside worked better. That way the air pressure is pushing the patch against, rather than off, the plastic.
+Charisse Gilbreath I've had good luck with a simple hot glue gun, myself. not a perfect success, but I find it does work quite well, and it's very easy to re apply, of course. in this instance, just having my lips close to the surface, and searching, listening for leaks, I ended up finding said leak, it was blowing in my face!
To patch leaks, use the glue E6000, which can be found in hardware stores, grocery stores, drug stores, Walmart in USA. Clean and dry the area around the leak. Apply a circle of glue with diameter ½ inch. An eight inch of thickness is enough. The glue is enough; do not bother with a patch on top of the glue. Let it dry for four hours.
When you say slow, how long to deflate? I had a mattress would have to reinflate at least once, never could find the leak. I hate these things. I've had 3-4 and they all leaked within 2-4 uses.
I agree. Most air mattresses I've had seem to spring a leak after just a few uses. In this case, I was waking up once or twice in the middle of the night to re-inflate, and then waking up in the morning completely on the ground.

Are you talking about putting a patch on the inside of an air mattress? If so I really , really don't think it can be done. lol
