Hi, you got one wire going to the body plug that powers the ignotors ans injectors right.... But you also have the brown wire on the same plug, where does it go to?
try out the pinout I put in the description, worked great for me, you just need to send power to pin 9, 14 and 22 on plug B. the pins you need to power will be mirrored on the ecu because the diagram is for the actual plugs, but other then that its pretty straight forward, If I still had the wiring up id absolutely send you a picture, but its all taken apart for easy access to the engine!
How did you know which wires to give power and ground to on the body plug ? Did you have like a diagram or sumn, bc my wire harness is from an sc400 n seems to be a lil different
for the body plug i did not have a diagram, i just poked around with a multimeter on the resistance setting until i found which wires led where. you can also just find the wire colour that matches. for example, powering the injector was a black wire with a red stripe on it, so i just searched through the plug until i found a black wire with a red stripe on it and then sent 12v to that! if you need any extra help let me know :)
Thanks bro this helps a lot, me and my brother rebuilt the engine because the head gasket blew and some of the piston rings were shot as well. We rebuilt and put it back in the car, and I’m not gonna lie the hardest part right now is trying to rewire it. It’s hell. Any tips ? Or places I could find models for it ? I could really use some help.
sorry I haven't been on my computer recently so I just saw your comment today! I spent quite a bit of time watching this channel called @CartuneNZ , he has tons of videos on these motors and cars, just have to sift thru some long videos is all, are you doing a custom wiring job or just trying to hook it up back to the stock harness?
@@tylerperry2414 Unfortunately I cant help you with a stock body harness, I'm using this motor for a different project and don't have an ls400, the Haynes manual books do have wiring harnesses as well, I've used them for my Miata and they are always a big help!
this motor is non vvti. i have also never worked on a the vvti 1uz so i cant say for certain whether or not it would work. if you find your ecu and put the identification numbers into google a ecu pinout diagram should pop up. then you can cross match the ecu in the video to your ecu. if its the same then just make sure that the wire colors are the same and if they are then hypothetically it should work yes, but i would take my words with a grain of salt as i don't have any real experience on that engine :)
This video needs to be watched by so many.👍👏
Thanks man, appreciate the support!

His voice is so cute 🥺🥺 I just wanna go over there and give him a bigggg hug 🥹🥺
🤪
Still waiting on the permanent wiring diagram! Thanks for this video!
I've got the motor where it needs to be now, I just have a bit more fabrication then ill be getting it running on its own :)
Super helpful, saved me tons of time thanks!
no worries man! thanks for commenting !!

the brown wire should be a ground, what time in the video is what your mentioning?
i found which one your talking about, at 2:40 the brown wire is a ground
Bro can you please upload a picture of the 3 wires going into the ecu, the diagram i found is ass

Will this work on a vg30
If you make it an aluminum block, weld on 2 extra cylinders and dual overhead cam with no turbo then put a 1uz harness on it yea itll work the charm

Sorry to respond late, yea we found some videos from him he definitely helps. Also, we are doing a stock wiring harness bro
