Correction. When using kick with the bullgoat talisman, you can poise through the 2h running heavy attacks of greathammers and anything that does less poise damage.
Can you do a video on unique ashes of war? I would like to know about the sword of light or the sword of dark in particular.

Sadly you're going to have to use an offhand club or something, you will never beat anyone halfway competent with one otherwise. It's crazy to me how shafted this weapon category got compared to colossal swords.

@@KNGDDDE It probably does both on the initial hit and pure Fire on the heavy attack follow up. It's a Flame Art Ash of War, meaning the damage of the followup will scale with your Faith and the Faith scaling of the weapon, making Flame Art much better than Fire or Heavy.

They powercrept a lot of things, death's poker, giant hunt, lions claw, the thorn sorceries, quickstep, BHS, most colossals (well that isnt a high bar), full bullgoats, vykes dragonbolt, frost dragon breath, rosus axe (again not a huge loss lol), dual curved swords and the claymore
Just off the top of my mind
Well some of the examples you chose are not necessarily strictly better, for example ghostflame ash has terrible dmg compared to its version on the deathpoker, and savage lions claw has to hit with both parts to have comparable stance dmg to regular lions claw which is 36. It’s better and easier to just use lions claw twice for almost double the stance dmg than what SLC can do in its best case scenario.
I really was taken aback by the inclusion of eternal sleep pots and greases. No clue why they felt we needed a new sleep status that does slightly more fp damage to opponents, but hey more sleep consumable are nice i guess
@@Chonus savage lions claw is just way better imo. The bane of having to hit with both parts of the stance isnt as bad bc hit 1 will true combo into hit 2 (and some quick offhand weapons) also, after the initial leap, you can cancel into crouch, guard, and attack way faster than with regular lions claw. This opens up a few more opportunities for aggression depending on what defensive option your opponent chooses. Try to crouch cancel after the initial leap and follow up with a crouch poke to contest roll ins, and a crouch running heavy to contest roll outs. Has helped me out quite a bit. However, lions claw pancaking on the initial strike is very valuable in some situations
@@StrugglerVA Those are some good points for pvp, although my post was only in regards to pve, should have clarified.
@@Chonus both shred through enemy posture health in pve, i always keep a greatsword with both lions claw and savage lions claw, it may be a little excessive haha

@@tosfriendly the unique weapons should have the same values tied to their weapon class. The unique weapon skills however are still being worked on. I should have that video out by next Saturday if all goes well
For the HA Level Three Tier, where can I learn the hyper armor values of my weapon? I probably shouldn't put chilling mist on my milady if I want it to have some hyper armor?
chilling mist would still be pretty good for milady i think, the buff alone is super worth. Probably wont be able to trade with most weapons though. Im using cheat engine to find out the poise numbers but chilling mist on milady will give you a flat 60 poise which is added to your armor poise, and will reduce incoming poise damage by 35%
@@StrugglerVA I don't plan to use it for PvP anyways. I run around 51-60 poise so it sounds like it should be enough for me to poise 2 light hits or 1 strong hit in PvE, which is good enough I think. Thanks for your reply.

As far as i know, i believe you get like a little more damage on kick. From like 25 to like 37 or something. Super insignificant

does this hyper armor added aour armor ?. so if ı have 50 poise and use troll roar. will ı have 550 poise? so with bull goat ı can even withstand againt 2h collossal heavy jump atk. if only calculate on 500 poise it is not enough.
@@huseyinakkoc1062 sorry for not clarifying, the poise value that is displayed is the FINAL value you have during your hyper armor. Armor poise does not matter at all when using the skills that have a numerical value displayed in the left column of the tier list. If your armor poise is 50, your bonus for troll roar will be 500. If your armor poise is 0, your poise bonus for troll roar will be 500. Trolls roar and the rest of the numerically labeled ashes will reduce incoming poise damage by 50% which essentially allows you to withstand 1000 poise damage

Might have to do an update including all the ashes of war. There are only 25 ashes that were added in dlc and to my knowledge, only a handful of them are usable on colossal swords. And an even larger portion are locked to specific weapon classes

Dude in PVE all colossal ashes pretty good. It’s only PVP, where a lot of ashes fall short
Bleed will poise break (savage) lions claw
Dammit, i completely forgot to mention the segment about status effects in this vid. I think bleed, frost, and other burst type status effects will interrupt most attack animations (and even dodge animations) dont know if they fixed that yet or even touched it. There are a few things that arent in the patch notes that were changed in patch 1.12

man... they didn't touched spinning strikes in the last patch (except for the "bug" with bloodflame blade incantation), that aow is almost useless in pvp.
also i've seen that a some of people uses phantom slash as a "trading tool", it seems that the phantom appears on frame 1, so if you trigger the AoW just before getting hitstun, the phantom will appear, and depending on the reaction of the opponent, it will stager him so you can take advantage of it with one of your own attacks.
Charge forth and spinning strikes should really get buffed. I wish fromsoft put me in charge for pvp balance lol

It's still better for PvP while giant hunt remains king in PvE. The infinite stunlock from humanoids getting back up and higher stance damage is invaluable.

You can use it on colossals. Combine with bleed infusion and ironjar/blackflame protection to trivialize the game.
