    The idea that City was trying to get rid of the rules is false.

    • @nichobee

      The gaslighting continues. Read the language in the lawsuit claim. City couldn't give a flying toss about shareholder loans mate.

    • @LionKingMCFC
      @LionKingMCFC 10 годин тому +3

      @nichobee that was an argument that the rules only targeted a specific type of ownership. You don't think City's owners can lend the club over 250mil at 0 percent interest like Arsenal. Of course they don't care, but it's getting ridiculous. UEFA apt rules aren't this discriminatory.

    • @nichobee
      @nichobee 9 годин тому

      @@LionKingMCFC and the angling of that argument failed. The rules are flawed but the court did reject the notion of discrimination. City's chief motivation was to nail the PL for discrimination, bad faith etc etc and they didn't. This was all about finding an ace up their sleeve for the ongoing 115 trial.

    Baldy here is genuinely struggling with verbal gymnastics to try and argue the pro League & Red Cartel's side.
    City should be applauded for exposing 'UNLAWFUL' rules by all 19 other clubs. Those who oppose City's legal action is complicit in the unlawful business practices.
    How is this so difficult to understand?

    Baldy is wrong again, there isn't a 'Collective position' in US sports. There are caps and controls so that the Billionaire owners make most of the money. That is not competitive or anything to do with 'sport' - All US 'Sports' are non-competitive. They are better categorised as 'Athletic entertainment' & the Rich clubs ALWAYS WIN. Baldy is clueless!

    If City win on 114 counts out of 115 and lose a significant one resulting in a serious points deduction have they won 114 to 1 - I don’t think so. Martin is on point here. If you challenge something you throw the kitchen sink at it knowing you need one or two challenges to stick and probably expecting a few issues not to get up.

    Everyone gets to spend the same. To protect clubs from financial issues each club needs to have access to an independently managed account. If the club wants to buy a player or appoint a new member of the coaching staff then either the club or their owner must transfer all fees and wages into this account. The club/owner cannot withdraw money from this account and player fees and wages are paid out of this account. If the owner then stops supporting clubs then all current financial responsibilities are covered, if the club can’t afford to renew player contracts they then need to either sell the player or let the player leave on a free.
