I can only understand like half because I'm not scandinavian, only nordic. Subtitles? How about enabling them for community so someone can make them for you?
I belive every scandinavian would be able to understand the other languages with just a bit of practice. Sometimes i understand Swedish better than Norwegian (Im Danish)dependent on the dialect and vice versa. A shame that they resort to speaking English so often.
