  • This week we picked up our brand new Bobcat L-23 Loader. The L23 is a compact articulating loader that will be used for our softscape crew. It leaves a small footprint on the turf which is nice for summer use when it has the larger tires on. In the winter we plan to put the smaller tires on it so that it will be able to gain traction as the smaller the surface area, the more weight applied. A 48" snowblower will be applied to the Bobcat in the winter for sidewalk snow removal. We have the forks and 60" high capacity bucket with the machine right now. This video encompasses our initial walk around review.

Was that max throttle there at the end when it bogged down on that pile? Looked like it bigger down kinda easy. Looking to getting one for landscaping and if it did that on that, think it would also bog down on a pile of rocks or aggregate.

It does well with aggregate, rock piles not so much. It is a great machine for softscape installation but not so much for excavation.
