🔔 LIZ: SUGGESTION ➡ SEE IF YOU CAN'T GO INTO SOME KIND OF OFFICIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SOME ENTITY LIKE "CONSUMER REPORTS"! 😉
🔔 LIZ @ 9:14: Y/T AUTO-DELETES PEBBLES' ADDRESS, ETC. WHEN I REPLY WITH IT BUT IT'S IN SUNNYVALE CA
Hey Liz, just wanted to say thanks for putting Coach House on this list of quality RVs. This is my family's business and was founded by my Grandfather back in 1985. We use a patented one piece fiberglass design for the RV body and we handcraft the RV in house (minus the chassis and appliances). This allows us to take our time with build quality and provide an RV that the customer can truly enjoy. Since we don't flood the market with new product, this helps with resale as well. Thanks for making an awesome UA-cam channel and helping keep the consumer informed 🙂
Hi Nicholas! So glad to hear from you! Thanks for taking the time to comment, and to watch.
Your channel has turned into "The Consumer's Report" of RVs....excellent!!
The "good" RV companies deserve the good reviews that you are sharing. Much appreciated.
They sure do! Feel free to share this video, and thanks for watching.
The prices are insane for small trailers
If one wants quality it comes at a price! This is true for anything, not just RV's.
@@kingforaday8725 That is true. However, the major complaint about pricing is that the same package pre-COVID was considerably cheaper. So, what happened to cause the price increase? Supply chain issues added to the build cost, but the primary reason for higher costs is customer demand. During COVID, people were so desperate to get out of the cities that they were willing to pay anything, even above MSRP, to buy whatever unit was on the lot. The manufacturers and dealers quickly saw a cash windfall and increased prices. After COVID, the manufacturers and dealers realized that people were willing and able to pay more, so the MSRP was artificially raised, which affected the bottom line at all levels. So yes, quality costs more, but supply and demand play a significant role.
Larry from Texas
Oliver makes good travel trailers but starting at 85 grand is ridiculous.
Thats the downside to higher quality for anything, not just RV's!
While, as a former Oliver owner, I agree the price is high, I find it ironic that most of us will not bat an eye at spending $45,000 or more for a car, $75,000 for a pickup ... that many trade out every 2-3 years, having a constant payment, for something we use mostly for going across town or to the grocery store. Oliver's are super high quality, built to near marine grade offshore yacht standards. They are the Mercedes class of RVs without Mercedes problems. I had many larger RV owners, who asked to see my Oliver, say they were stunned at the quality. A few, who bought too large, wished they would have bought smaller. Obviously, for a family. They are way too small, but for a couple they are plenty and are able to be towed almost anywhere in any kind of environment. Plus, equipped correctly, and carrying extra water, they can be off grid for weeks.
I worked in 2 Elkhart factories
The Amish I worked with had an EXCELLENT work ethic. The PROBLEM is the “quality control” supervisors (slave drivers) DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT “quality” !!!
QC guys are there to push push push the workers to get that JUNK OUT THE DOOR!!! Period !
The non Amish are in general just there for a paycheck on Friday, and I would say a LOT of them are drunks/dope users.
I’m PROUD to say I was fired twice! I’m an electrician and I REFUSE to do half-ass work NO ELECTRICIAN ON EARTH CAN DO QUALITY WORK AT A PACE THE SLAVE DRIVERS DEMAND, PERIOD!!!
Now for the GOOD NEWS, we’ve recently bought a 22 year old Casita I’m replacing the water heater, refrigerator, ceiling exhaust fan, and a few cosmetic minor issues.
ABSOLUTE TRUTH TIME …
The Casita is BETTER BUILT THAN ANYTHING OUT OF ELKHART INDIANA BY 1000% PERIOD !!!
ALL trailers not built like a boat are GARBAGE! Period!
💥🔥💣😎
P.S. Casita should have been included in this video, you need to do a WHOLE VIDEO on Casita because EVEN brand new they’re a bargain compared to the ones you featured in this video.
very interesting. Just seeing this now, the Amish connection in this industry. I thought they stayed away from power tools? Sounds like the current new owners should forget all the warranty pressure and rebuild / strengthen from frame up. YOU need to be interviewed by this channel.
If you are building RVs and get a good recommendation from Liz, you have been blessed by the consumer rep herself.
Prices are just insane. Full timers don't have homes anymore, because they RV costs as much as their house!!!
Thank you for the great reviews! . . . . we are Oliver Elite II owners and can't give enough praise to Oliver for their quality and customer service. However, the weak link in any of the high quality RVs is in the components. Manufacturers, such as Oliver, can build them well, but the RV industry needs to up the game when it comes to components. For so many years Dometic, et al, have been supplying mediocre parts, thus enabling the construction of low cost, poor quality RVs. This makes it challenging for companies, like Oliver, who build their units to a higher standard than the norm.
Too bad the Oliver's aren't TWICE the size and HALF the price!! You're doing a great job, Liz, keep it up!
The all fiberglass Casita is about a third of the price of an Oliver. High quality, easy towing, excellent price. We love ours.
@@tennesseeterri Thank you, when the time comes I will take a close look at these. The old "gold standard" has always been Airstream but they've obviously fallen on their greedy faces so on to someone new!!
If Olivers were twice the size and half the price, they couldn't be built to the same standards. You have to see the construction and build to understand.
Thanks for the shoutout to the Canadian market for good RV’s.
No mention of Roadtrek?
I have a 2016 17-ft. Casita Freedom Deluxe that I purchased used in 2022 for $23,000. I live in it full-time and I have had no issues with it. Yes it is small, but I find it is a perfect fit for me. I also tow it with a smaller truck which saves on gas. 👍
Indisputably the BEST trailer built for the money!
I “know” I used to build the Elkhart GARBAGE.
2002 Freedom Deluxe owner here. 👍😎
Yes, Casita is excellent for the money. Very high quality. We love ours. You can buy a new one for $26,000. Less if you don't want all the standard items.
Liz, I'm so glad that you put NuCamp on the list as a quality manufacturer. I own a 2016 TAB 320S and I can attest to the fact that this camper is a quality build. These campers have beautiful cabinets built by the Amish, and the foundation to the benches are all built with thick sturdy pieces of wood. The fabrics used in the upholstery of the cushions are top quality and are professionally made. All the fixtures and hardware are top quality as well as the Alde heating system which heats not just the water, but also the entire camper with radiant heat. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a well built compact camper which has it all. Thanks Liz for doing these videos, I hope they help people make solid choices. 💕
We bought an Escape Trailer Industries model 21C in late 2021 and have been very happy with it. Escape allows you to configure the trailer as you would like it. Only minor issues thus far which Escape promptly took care of. Highly recommend buying an Escape!
Another great video by Miss Liz. Those fiberglass units make so much sense, That is how boats have been built for decades. One mold is the hull and the other mold is the top half. Not saying they don't but three decade boater here and never heard of a leak where the pieces joined together. Don't have to reinvent the wheel copy what works. Thanks for doing this and congrats on 130K!!
Thanks so much, Dan! Yes, fiberglass is a good choice. Glad to have you here through thick and thin!
Only problem is Fiberglass gets weaker with age.
You make it easy!
Interesting. Had a couple of boats that were 30 years old and never noticed.
And you just know that fiberglass made today is going to be a lot cheaper and less durable than 20 -30 years ago.
What I have learned is that being the "new" owner is that nobody crapped in your toilet and you are responsible to fix/warranty all of the poor workmanship and poor products in your RV. Also, you are taking the big initial depreciation hit in the unit. Other than that, all RV products are a crap shoot. Just my opinion. LOL!!
Right. That's why I created this video. Wanted to shine the light on the RV companies that ARE doing it right. A nice list to consider, for sure, if RV shopping. Thanks for watching.
Look into Northern lite, or bigfoot. I would have no issue buying new from them.. I would expect no leaks or issues..
I would still tape all seams and seal with polyurethane caulking... Why not it won't hurt anything .
True. I bought a one year old RV and all the kinks had not been worked out yet, so I'm glad I purchased the extended warranty. RV's really are poorly built and this industry is basically the Wild West, seemingly unregulated.
You assume nobody used the toilet must dealer employees use those as restrooms
@@LizAmazing I get that and appreciate the information.
Since RVs seem to be rattled apart on the road, makes sense that an RV with less right angles involved in the construction to rattle apart, would be a successful design.
Well done Liz! I did research on almost all of those on your list and ended up buying a 2022 T@b 400 Boondock edition.
While I generally love my t@b, I didn’t realize how few of these quality rv’s are actually on the road!
Because these RV’s are expensive, they are kind of a niche market, and hard to find RV techs who know how, or even willing to work on these rigs!!
A story for another time is how a dealer charged me $1,000. For the regular maintenance on my radiant heat/hot water system that a month later showed a horrible glycol “leak” that still hadn’t been fixed! Also, I have a basement LG heat pump/AC unit that no one seems to know how to service either.
So keep that in mind if you choose to buy one of these expensive RV’s!!
My advice, if you buy a Used RV from a dealer, buy the extended warranty if they offer one! In 2023, we purchased a 2022 Keystone Alpine and we bought the extended warranty for about $4000. It's a 42ft rig with 5 slides so I didn't feel comfortable buying "as is". We felt like we were getting a good enough deal on the RV to justify the warranty price. We had to buy a tag and make our first 2 payments before ever being able to take it on it's first trip. We immediately had issues with the hydraulic jacks, sometimes they wouldn't even work at all. It's kind of hard to take a fifth wheel on and off of your truck when the jacks won't move. We also had to replace one of the slide outs within the first month. We have easily paid for the extended warranty in the first few months of ownership and we still have 5 more years left on the warranty. I THINK we have worked the major kinks out, fingers crossed. Also, buy from a reputable dealer! We bought from Bob Hurley RV in Oklahoma City and although we have had issues, they have taken care of us, and they have actually sent a tech to our home base (about a 45 minute drive) on multiple occasions. Don't get me wrong, they have dropped the ball a few times, yet they have always been kind and have corrected their mistakes. I think that is huge...especially in this unregulated industry.
I would highly recommend Northwoods Products, including Arctic Fox TT and Fifth Wheels. They are a relatively small (compared to the big 3) independent company located in La Grande OR. They aren't common and most dealerships are located in the western half of the US. Northwoods makes their own frames, on the fifth wheels, the cross members are solid I Beams, no wires or holes in then steel. They have been making the same relatively few floor plans for years, so they are solid designs, not being changed every year. Their rigs are several thousand lbs heavier than comparable RVs, because they use a solid frame and use heavier materials in their floors and roofs. They are also one of the best insulated RVs. There are no Recalls by this manufacture. Try to find one, I dare you. I have a friend that has a 2016 Arctic Fox fifth wheel with over 200,000 miles on it including 3 trips to AK, no issues. My 2018 Arctic Fox has been all over the country and to AK and back (I'm in San Diego), and I have not yet had a single problem. I noticed a comment that you didn't' like the fit and finish of their sister line, Outdoors. This brand isn't big in eye candy, but it makes up for it in rock solid construction and reliability. They don't need to have a Rally to fix broken RVs for free a minimal cost.
We have a 2020 Northwood Nash 17K Travel Trailer and are very happy with it. We bought it new and have had zero problems with it. We’ve had 3 other various new models by other manufacturers in the past so know problems first hand. We paid more for the Nash but it’s actually appreciated in value since we bought it.
I’m an original owner of a 1997 NASH 16T travel trailer. It has traveled all over our country and I have never had an issue. It’s been reliable and I recommend Arctic Fox/ NASH RVs to anyone who wants a well built unit!
Your channel IS BY FAR the best RV channel. This is coming off of Nerd Herd after 5 years. I have watched so many reviews, updates, tours and maintenance. You ARE the GOAT!! Thank you Liz. And shout out to Rigor RV channel
The prices quoted in this video are unattainable by most....WOW
Quality does cost more. Its not for everyone, the final choice is what are you will to accept in anything you pay for.
This is why you buy used. Anything new is overpriced, underbuilt, and will lose value the second you drive away. Older models might not be worth as much, but they usually last longer.
We bought out queen size mattress at Lowes. $450, with 6" dense foam and 2" memory foam. No thicker, because the bed platform is so high above the floor it would be hard to climb into bed. The motorhome is 21 years old, and so was its mattress. It had springs popped out past the average surface, but still held in check by the cloth cover. It's in a slide-out.
I have a step stool for our bed!
The common denominator in these companies? No Lippert frames...
You got that right!
Lol
Like Chinook, Big foot RV used to build class Cs also in the late '90s early 2gs, and they were quality, quiet, exterior had minimal fiberglass shell pieces. They were $78k when Minnie Winnies were $64k. No slide-outs but solid wood interiors, on the Ford e450. The Minnie Winnies from that era are great too if owners caulked roof openings and other proper maintenance. I've owned one for over 22 years.
Gretsch also makes top quality Class Bs today out of CA. Priced as if buying a top limousine, since that is their legacy too.
We purchased an outdoor RV two years ago and we couldn’t be happier. It’s a four season trailer that’s a little bit heavier than normal but well worth it.
The prices are just ridiculous!!! 80k for a 23 foot?
I remember 4 bedroom houses in Ca. for $21,000 in the early 1970's! This is highway robbery!
@@faroutgolf3650 stupid reply
How much did you pay for your car or truck? ...
@travlntxn6737 I paid 50k for my 2017 F350 PSD,CC DRW LB in 2017, still driving it today.
Hey Liz....Love my Lance truck camper..... best built RV ever.....had it now for 17 years and still like new.....remember you must take care of your RV and it will take care of you...if you buy the right kind...
My only experience with RV's was in the 1970's with my dad's 1960's era Hi-Lo camper. It was mostly used as our childhood fort but definitely have some great camping memories. That's what manufacturers need to recognize. They're creating products that actually effect people's experiences, respect that and create quality products.
We're on our 2nd Leisure Travel Unity. we average 25,000 miles per year. The quality is great & We're very happy with our rig.
I love and appreciate the honest and well researched information that your channel gives me.
We have a 2017 Leisure Travel Van U24MB. We just finished a 7000 mile trip and the only issue we had was with the MB chassis. It was a simple fix, front wheel sensor. Fixed for less than $30. Highly recommend LTV. They are usually owned by people who care about their stuff.
And a 2 year waiting list with a non refundable $10,000 deposit. Yikes!
I bought my 1st RV a couple months ago. I've now had 5 trips in my ATC 2816 and nothing but minor issues which the selling dealer (Brian at Camperland RV, Madison WI) has handled quickly over the phone or via text. It will never rot, rust, or get moldy. No slides to break. I couldn't be happier with the ownership experience.
Northwood Manufacturing (Arctic Fox) I have a 2015 28F. Some small problems but nothing major.
Years ago, we did lots of extreme winter camping. Then in the 80's camped with kids in a pop up. We've been looking at TTs since prior to COVID. Bought a new truck but we are so turned off by the RV quality, we may never do it. I think the manufactures have to take responsibility for the components including the frame, pluming, roof and all components including stoves, cabinets, etc. On the other hand, frame makers, for their own good, should not just say that "we just get the specs and build the frame to that". Nope, these guys are supposed be frame and suspension experts. They should not only get the design specs but should get the critical details about the RV and should review them. And there should be some percentage overbuild. I recall folks whose frame broke but wasn't covered under warranty because they took it off road. Well, the off road was driving through a construction zone on and interstate. The damn things should be able to endure how the RVs are most commonly used. If we get one, we just may get something smaller and cheaper since at this point, that'll make the loss much easier to swallow.
Yep. This video should help in giving you some companies to consider when RV shopping. Glad to report on some RV mfrs who are doing it right! Thanks for watching.
Please look at Casita Travel Trailers. All fiberglass. Easy and lightweight towing. Excellent product and price. You'll be glad you did.
I just bought a 1995 Holiday Rambler Imperial diesel pusher. It needs modern TVs, but everything is just like new in there.
I bet that rig is beautiful! She needs her own Facebook page.
Older is ALWAYS better! They cated about what they built.
Thanks for All your Amazing RV research and community support. Nice to see that you included the Truck Camper segment; although a smaller market, I feel that it still has some viewer (at least myself) interest. Keep up the great work!!!
We bought a 2023 Coachmen Nova in October of 2022. We had an issue with the Truma combi, and firefly and recalls on the awning and generator, but it is remarkably reliable.
RV makes will continue to make faulty RVs as long as people still keep buying them!
And that's why I made this video, to shine the light on the RV companies that ARE doing it right. Definitely a nice list to consider if shopping new, thanks for watching.
The answer to the question posed in the intro and headline? Yes. That's why I bought used. And yeah, you'll ALWAYS have issues with your rv, it's a given. But if its new....you are guaranteed to have even MORE problems. Always prepare for issues and breakdowns. Have warranty insurance, and know where your rv mobile techs are. Thanks for the info, Liz.
I picked up my rockwood mini lite last Saturday, drove home 5 miles and discovered the fridge was sitting at a weird angle. Drove it back to the dealer on Monday. They knew I wanted to go camping and told me to bring it back when done. I drove home the 5 miles, about 1.5 hrs later. I went to load the food into the fridge and found it tipped against the cabinet opposite to it. I pushed it back into place. Canceled my camping trip. The next morning I drove it back to the dealer and again, found the fridge had tipped against the opposite cabinets again. I haven’t even got to use it and there is at least damage to the cabinets as well as the piece of wood under the fridge. The cabinet had a little ding on the corner where the fridge came to rest from the first time. I didn’t look at it the second time. With the fridge riding at the angle, twice. Did this do something to the life of the fridge? Today finally after 4 days, the dealer call and said they had installed some missing screws. And now my schedule won’t let me go camping for another 10 days. It seems like the dealer took care of me. I just wish it was a little quicker so I could have gone camping.
Missing Screws !!!!!!!
If your dealer actually responded to your issues in less than 6 months they deserve kudos for the fast response. Thank them and give them a good rating. We all know great and that had RVs at the dealers for half the time during their first year with it for work that would only take 1 - 2 days for the repairs, but they were so low on the priority list that it never got worked on for months.
@lancewulfers2502 Yes, the problem is fixed fairly quickly, but looking at the workmanship. They didn't do a very good job. The bottom of the fridge sits out about 4 inches and the top only about two inches and I can see the wood frame around the fridge that they screwed into is now starting to separate from the rest of the wood.
@Francis-xl2gu the screws go from the inside of the fridge through the sides into the wood frame around the fridge. The screws inside the fridge have plastic covers over the heads of the screws so it looks natural. However, they didn't do a very good job at make sure the fridge was level.
Great information some at really good prices. Thanks so much Liz
Ohh thank you so much for the video Liz. You do such great work.
So glad to see you show some appreciation for NuCamp campers! They make some amazing teardrops. The build quality, materials and included equipment (ie Alde radiant heating) are all part of what makes them so appealing.
I’ll be darn Lis! I live very near Sugar Creek Ohio. I’ll be watching this video a few times, lol. All I need is a sleeping trailer and I could be talked into one of those in Sugar Creek. Thanks Lis!❤
Great video. I was waiting for you to one like this. Thanks!
Yes, so glad to post this video, feel free to share.
I’ve been following Liz for the past year, and agreed with everything
But this review about Nexus really upsets me
I’m one of those people who sold their house in 2022, to buy a motor home. Brand new Nexus Phantom 24P. We almost died in that thing. Gasoline fumes building up inside as we slept. Water pouring in front and shorting out dash. We lost months of use out of it as it was in the garage most of the season.
Ford techs found 6 holes in the gas tank…. Drilled by manufacturer 😔
So many issues that Nexus sent another 2023 model.
My god it was worse. Gasoline poured out of generator🦨. Water poured in even more this time. The roof of that class C was damaged. Water tank poured onto floor as we drove. The dash shorted out…. Lost cruise, ac,traction control ….,radio
Slide stuck with 1000 screws fallen inside. You could see the road through the floor holes.
Had a fall from hell with it.
The dealer in Ottawa bought it back and cancelled all Nexus RV’s in Canada. That’s how bad Nexus is.
My posts are still on the nexus forums with CEO responses about gasoline leaks
No, I do not recommend Nexus!!!
I have an Oliver Elite II! So easy! If it’s only you or two… it’s perfect! Thanks Liz!
Thank you for being such an amazing person and for helping other people.
Thank you so very much! I sure appreciate your support
Our first RV was a Forest River RPod. Lots of issues. Balsa wood and sticks. Learned a huge lesson on that one. Now we have a 2021 Lance 2375, purchased in late 2020 before prices skyrocketed. We've only had one issue with it and Lance took care of that under warranty with no worries. We've always wanted to go full time in a Class A motorhome, but new ones are junk, and I don't want the maintenance costs of something built in the late 90's/early 2000's. So, retirement plans may change. Thanks for taking on this work Liz - you're the only channel doing this.
We purchased a used Big Foot truck camper. It is great. We enjoy it so much. We are in our 70’s and it’s on our truck prepped and ready at the drop of a hat to go.
Liz you are doing an amazing job helping people with Rv issues. We have faith in what you say.
Oh yes! Thank you for the tips!! Look also into Northern Lite. Seems very well made. Thank you Liz.
More companies than I would have thought - very encouraging!
Thank you for the awesome review video. Blessings to you.
Had a 2021 Oliver Elite II. Absolutely awesome 4 season "marine grade". Sold it used for slightly more than I paid for it new. If I were to buy again, it would very likely be another Oliver. Super quality. Awesome support from the manufacturer.
can't wait for a part 2. Hope you include more on companies making trailers like destination trailers and living trailers. Thank you for doing a great job!
sorry but destination trailer are made using popsicle sticks. beware
Great reviews! Thanks for sharing.
Love it love it love it! Thank you Liz, so much work on this video! I feel well informed now.
thank you liz . very wel done . we are on our 2ND ROadtrec class b. very pleased . we had a 28 ft class c threpl e. very good . went to alaska twice . great r.v. both canadaidain. we wish you great health . happy trailes .
Pebble is a Sunnyvale, California start-up and has received two rounds of venture capital funding to date. They don’t really mention a factory location, but anticipate initial units being available in late 2024. They have a heavy social media presence and a Discord server. If interested, I would join their Discord server. I suspect their factory location and size will be driven by demand.
I like the concept, however concept and production are 2 different things. Hope they make it as it will change many things people know and expect from a towable. Best one is the drive module, not having to have a large truck to pull since it partially drives via the electric motors in the wheels. Heres to hoping 😊
As always, another GREAT Liz video!!!
To everyone saying there is a skilled labor shortage in Amish country where most of these are built are just talking without knowing all the ins and outs of the business and talking from what “you think the issue is”
They aren’t given incentives on warranty claim percentage or quality control points
It’s by how many units they can get out each quarter. Bonuses for this are pretty substantial if met
I did not understand one thing you typed.
@@Wisdom-Nuggets-Tid-Bits reason campers suck and have sucked isn’t because of bad skill - factory pays extra if high quotas are met. Vs paying them more for better quality like lower dealership warranty claims -
Not really sure how to explain it any better than that
Another excellent presentation Liz, thanks.
On our third LTV Wonder. No problems and we absolutely love our Wonder! Quality is top notch!
Not Olivers. We have owned ours since we purchased new in 2020. Everything we need and nothing you don’t. Great job Liz!
I'm not paying 74k for an 18 ft pull trailer, I don't care how great it is.
We're happy to stick with our 2010 class B (mfg doesn't matter here). Good mileage, well made, great amenities and gets us around just fine.
Right? I couldn't believe the prices on any of these. Absolutely insane!
Casita fiberglass 17 foot with full bathroom $26,000. Or less. They now will customize and delete the items that you don't want and reduces price.
COACH HOUSE is the best!!!! Not fancy, but so SOLID ..and Great Customer Service!!! I have lived in mine for 3 years fulltime ...very few minor problems ...and they addressed them right away. A few more bucks upfront, but you get a well-built RV.
for 150k they better be
Great positive and informative content. Thanks for pinpointing where to start the search. You’re an excellent source for reliable details on quality and cost. I appreciate you becoming a champion for people diving into the RV life be it for weekend or lifelong living.
Aww, thanks so very much, Michelle!
We just got a 21 Renegade Vienna it’s a very nice high quality class c. We were looking at a tiffin wayfarer but saw this one and liked the quality of the build. Had it like 2 months and loving it.
We always enjoy all of your videos and look forward to the new releases on Fridays, keep up the great work.
Great video Liz in the first part of the video I saw a kitchen from the outdoors 280kvs my wife and I just looked at that model a couple of weeks ago very well built trailers from northwood manufacturing and sister company outdoors rv they are the only 2 that we are considering purchasing from thanks again and have a great weekend
Good eye, Corey. Yes, that was the Outdoors. Honestly, I was not impressed with the fit and finish. Maybe their more expensive lines are better. Happy shopping to you, and thanks for watching.
Hi Liz, Another good quality camper line is from Utah. Peak Mountain Camps. They also do custom trailers.
Awesome Liz. I owned a Tab/Nucamp. Great quality.
Congrats on this video -Your best work & Hi from Michigan 🚂
Thank you so very much!!!
I am glad Coach House and Pleasure-Way made your nice list. And it didn't look like the new Chinook would match up in quality to the original. I'm excited to see part two!
Thank you!
We have had great service from two different Winnebago Micro Minnie tow behind campers. The first was a 2015 19' with a rear door but it turned out to be too small for two people to pass to go to the bath, so we traded it for a 2106FBS with a slide out in 2019. The good: very well sealed, no bugs, vermin leaks. The bad: limited storage, but maybe plenty for better organized people. Before that we had great service from a 32' Fleetwood Wilderness advantage from 2004 till 2015, but as we aged it got too large to tow in cities and many gas stations. We are now looking at 24' Class B or C built prior to 2020 for our last camper.
We purchased a 2016 Bigfoot because of their construction, dealer was terrible but that is another story! That dealer is no longer a BF dealer! We love it and it is solidly built and tracks well. We have had other run of the mill trailers which all had water intrusion problems because of their construction. I hear the pain of the owners on your channel, do your homework, get an inspection, money well spent! Thank you for your channel to educate those who will listen Liz.
Good to see that there are quality-built RVs, especially the Canadian ones. Cheers, Liz.
Yes, indeed! And cheers to you as well!
Unfortunately in the RV industry, "quality built" when compared to the other RV manufacturers, is a very low bar.
Got to tour the Brinkley RV Factory recently. Very impressed with their quality of build!
Another great video!
Thank you so much liz
Thanks so much for being here, feel free to share!
@@LizAmazing Ohh yes. I already texted my wife to make sure she Watches and gives a like. Her name is Zoey But the screen name she uses is"I need an oil change " {long story lol).
She loves your Channel Also!
I am very pleased with Lance products. Have had two Lance (1) truck camper & (1) bumper pull T.T. Also pleased with the products.
Thanks for sharing these great alternatives to the usual rv brands!
Some of these makes I never heard of. Great video, Liz, good job!!
Even-handed reporting! Great job!
Intech, Leisure Travel, Phoenix. Great Vid Liz. Thanks!
I work on RV's everyday, and honestly they are all "Turds", just make sure you get a good Warranty, and find a good Technician for when that expires.
Hey Liz, Gary from Kansas here. We are rolling out on Thursday for the Pacific Northwest in our TT. Headed to Washington State! Looking forward to your videos on the road! Keep it up, girl!
Yay!!! I bet you are going to make some great memories on the road. Thanks for checking in, Gary, and safe travels.
Welcome to the PNW! We look forward to your visit!
Hey Liz we just purchased our new 2024 grand design 28rl. We are just very happy with it the only problem we came across is the bathroom pocket door came off the trac on one of the hinges. Other than that we love it...😊
Thanks for plugging the GR8 white north...EH!!
Liz, you should take a look at Outdoor RV if you haven’t. I have been through 12 RVs and the Outdoor RV I have now is built amazing from the frame, supports and construction methods. Great list so far and thanks for highlighting those that still do it right!
i looked their fit finish is flimsy
The Phoenix Cruiser is a very well built RV. AND... they have excellent customer service at their factory in Elkhart. If you need service or want something new installed, they schedule a day for you to bring it in and they start working on it that day. The employees have been there for many years. It's a family owned RV manufacturer and made in the USA!
Great info, it's really buyer in these times! I have to be honest the horror stories I've heard have really scared me from pulling the plug and buying. Good to know what's better to buy.
Hi liz...good video..glad to see you pointing out some of the good ones..prices are outrageous...i think we would look at Oliver if we didn't already have ours.. thanks for video stay safe ...J&A2ofus
Love your advice on mattresses.
Thanks for sharing Liz!!
Thanks so much, Kim! Big hugs to you!
@@LizAmazing you’re welcome! Hugs coming back at you
Thanks Liz! This was much appreciated as I’m still in the market but I want a drivable so that I can tow my trike. I look forward to your part B!
Good reviews 😊
Loved this Liz!
