I've never done a Tier List, so I decided to do a tierlist on the Companion Characters from the Legend of Zelda. And sadly, we don't really have any Partner characters in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. So we're doing all of them through out the Zelda series! Will Midna reign supreme, or will Fi have something to say about it? Let's not forget the King of Red Lions, Phantom Zelda, and Linebeck too!

It doesn't actually work like that, though. Dark Link/Shadow Link was always a magical creation. Well actually in Ocarina of Time it was different, but the entire room was a mirage caused by Morpha manipulating the water in the room to distort the light and make Link see things that aren't there. Without the mirage, the mini-boss of the Water Temple would probably have been a water form similar in appearance to one of Morpha's tentacles, that it kept reforming after you cut it, until it eventually gave up.
Thank you for giving my girl ST Zelda the love she deserves. She's such a baddie.
Nintendo really peaked with giving us one of the best Zelda's personality wise, one of the best companions story and gameplay wise, and probably the best romance with Link all in one character. And they did it 15 years ago on the DS.

King of red lions at the end of windwaker was like "Nah, f### you Ganondorf. Choke on this, you deluded idiot."
And then proceeds to almost drown two children.
Red Lion is actually a clown tbh. Dudes defending mass genocide via flooding trying to justify that crap (Gods did that not Ganondorf. They legit killed more people than Ganondorf ever could) He only does anything of relevance because of a technicality (Ganondorfs hand wasn't technically touching Triforce GG) "Ganondorf bad he gonna destroy the world and kill everyone!"
Ganondorf: I'm going to restore Hyrule maybe rule it for a bit. Also not gonna kill yall just need the Triforce pieces.
Red Lion: OMG so evil
Edit: Idk have a really hard time seeing WW Ganondorf as this evil guy when the Gods are the ones that did this to Hyrule not him and all he mainly wants is to fix it. Yes he wants to rule but of everyone left he's probably the most qualified
@@FantomMisfit I like this take- he probably has become wiser after his time sealed away. Really I love both characters in WW, but keep in mind he is still the same dorf from OoT so probably still pretty evil were he to get to that ruling point again. The whole gods flood Hyrule and Zoras turn to ritos lore never made too much sense haha. I always wanted there to be a game set in that time even if there was no chosen Link or if it meant you failed in the end. I only vaguely remember "valley of the flood" rumors from back then but i had tons of speculative ideas.

SPIRIT TRACKS ZELDA AND LINEBECK GETTING THE RECOGNISSION THEY DESERVE 👏👏👏 even if i do have a bias towards the DS games, i absolutely agree with Midna being number one, she really is one of a kind. also, my bias again, but i don't think ciela was that bad, i'd put her above navi for sure, her banter with linebeck was always so amusing. if you wanna talk about nothing fairies, let's talk about leaf and neri, the other two phantom hourglass fairies that no one remembers lmao

Can we talk about how funny of a character she is, too? Scared of mice but not phantoms she can slice and dice?
I like Linebeck dudes a complete coward the whole game and tries to make some excuse to Link and Ciela would immediately call him out on it (Imo Ciela is rated too low she's Navi but with more personality and is actually helpful to Link and also calling out Linebeck on his bs) :P but he came in clutch at the end to protect Link especially when you know every fiber of his being was telling him to run away
Fi should be on S instead of B. She has been the construct to the hero in every era. She is also bringing brought back in Breath if the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Except she sleeps every era
One thing i absolutely love about Linebeck is something that actually gets brought up in Twilight Princess.

At the end of the game when you get caught by Bellum,Linebeck actually steps up and stabs the beast in order to save you. And it actually managed to damage it,Meaning that throughout your adventure with him,Linebeck learned to be a bit less of a coward.
And this is what ultimately ends up saving his world. If Link had gotten killed,It was over. Linebeck stepping in when he did ultimately saved his world,Which in my eyes makes him a hero of his own.
I cannot express how glad i was to see his descendant in Spirit Tracks,Meaning he wasn't just an illusion.
I played both the DS Zelda games to bits,And Linebeck will forever be in my heart as my favorite companion.

I feel like just saying "discount Navi" is not really enough to put Ciela a whole two tiers below Navi tbh. Usually a whole gap in tier is used to mean "they're SO MUCH WORSE, you have NO idea", but Ciela's kinda just "yea she's just a tad blander than Navi, who was already quite bland" (although admittedly Ciela having interactions with Linebeck is more than Navi can say; she kinda interacts with *no one* afaik).
I'd say your logic means she'd be C tier at worst. Or "C for Ciela", if you will. :P

This list is pretty much what mine would be. King of Red Lions? Heck yeah! Love that dude. Midna? Simply peak.

Because The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess were my first ever played Zelda games, Fi from Skyward Sword and Midna from Twilight Princess are my favourite Link's companions in Zelda games because they're The most Beautiest and Strongest Link's companions! As a Bleach fan I really like Fi is the Sword's Soul, but Twilight Princess is the Best Zelda game because Wolf is my favourite animal, I like Link and defienitily Zelda's design with a beautiful brunet hairs, but Midna is Link's Beautiest, Strongest and the Best Companion, she's both designs, defienitily small desigb with a helmet, she's the Funniest and Beautiest! I like Midna that much I've been thinking buying old Wii U Wolf Link and Midna amiibo figure and I really hope The Legend od Zelda Twilight Princess HD Port for the Nintendo Switch is coming and will be showing in this june's upcoming Nintendo Direct: Here we Go WAHOO! 😊❤
Midna is definitely my favorite companion in terms of design, character development, personality, and story. Her imp form is really cute while her true form is so beautiful even I have no words.

Tatl has personality. Yes she is mean to Link in the beginning, but she has character growth and gets better and grows to respect and trust Link.
She also provides actually useful information, like enemy weaknesses.

Aside from the obvious your vs you're dilemma, the lack of punctuation in the actual title implies that Link is the reader's favorite companion; it is also a subject with no verb, so it doesn't even make sense.
Personally my favorite companion is Navi 🤓

The rest are fairly inoffensive (mostly due to not being there for the most part)
@@anidiot192 tulin is the only useful one anyone else is useless and gets in the way😭
@@Duckzrandoms yeah, that's why the rest are inoffensive and not there for the most part, you just don't summon them with the exception of Tulin (and MAYBE Yunobo if you're a cheapskate.)
Tulin is the only one that gets to do things that're actively annoying and detrimental like blowing away loot.
Also I've never had any of them get in the way (but then again I barely summoned Sidon, Riju, and Mineru so maybe I just didn't have them around long enough to experience that)
@@anidiot192 the struggling trying to get a sage without them running away is hell. The only times I use yunobo is get rid of rocks if I have no more bomb flowers. Tulin blowing away loot was actually so annoying I prefer botw's ability's so much better
@@Duckzrandoms I used Yunobo to clear rocks so I could save on bomb flowers, weapon durability, and I could avoid wasting a weapon slot on a hammer. Honestly I found it more useful than Tulin's ability (which is more about Tulin also being useless than it is about Yunobo being useful.)
But none of that changes the fact that because Tulin is the only one that actually gets summoned (for the most part) you might as well count them as the only one worth considering for something like this.
