equally adorable, both Jenny & YoHO . What a beautiful, gracious sweet woman.. it's what I love about women is the degree of their tenderness that can draw tears over describing a block of wood that brings heartfelt memories . I hope the best of days for the two of them
oh.. what would we do without a woman's capacity for true deep down dear emotion~truth Jenny shares on this level, so deeply authentic, she nearly brought a drop of tear, even while I ate a good breakfast, aboard my own sweet little Tug. Yes,shape, form, grain, flowing lines, snug living space, can bring out the true deep emotion in us.. making a 'thing' a member of the family . Thanks to Jenny for a good lesson in speaking from ones heart
Well said, Canyon. I really only boated as a child, but love being able to revisit it online. And, yes, Jenny took me to new places in boating, and I discovered that my own feelings now have a place in my concept of boating.
Rarely have I seen such wonderful “mama love” between an owner and her boat. I wish all of you well, and many happy days of sailing in another boat. May Yo-Ho get a new lease on life, and come back to sail in brisk, fair winds again!
You beautiful shining woman, of course you did the right thing. No good deed goes unpunished. This lovely boat will go on in the hands of the next owners. Thank you for caring for her all these years.
There are many Folkboats on San Francisco Bay. I had the great pleasure of owning a shorter version, a Mermaid class. I have photos of the Mermaid on the hard next to a folk boat. In Sausalito.

The cabin seems rather large for e folkboat.
What a lovely lady....
A lovely lady, with a lovely boat in a lovely video. 😎🌈👍
navvy gangers used to shout yo ho to signal the end of shift
She so sweet, great vid.
That was my grandfather’s boat. He taught my father to swim by towing him behind with a rope tied around him
Great video! Would love to see a Giles Vertue or Contessa 26.
A Contessa 26 will be on it's way. Shot it in Cowes this summer. If anyone can remember the summer.
Yes, the boat's nice. But the woman's wonderful!

The definition of a Folkboat must be somehow different in the UK than here in Denmark where JO HO definitely wouldn’t be considered a Folkebåd
This story with “Joan’s Lament “ playing in the background was too much for me.
Why not show the boat a little?
Which part of the boat would you like to see a little more of?
no results then???
