even tho i do not own a cowboy hat but do have a Sabres cap i decided to purchase a TDI Touareg, especially with Buffalo winters arriving soon..great review..i was impressed with no rattles or clunks and the washboard test was smooth inside with hardly any noise..better to listen to rock n roll..thx..
You totally have the wrong idea. This cowboy listens to EDM ;)
Excellent review Sam !! I love VW's and want one of these BAD !!
Nice review. I also enjoyed the nice walk around at the begining.
First time on your channel, nicely done!
Great review. Very nicely done.
Fantastic review and car!
Same as the Porsche .
GREAT review.. Very well done..!!
Gen 1 has the best off-road-ability.
Nice review
Good review, awesome vehicle! :-)
It hasn't got electric power steering rather hydraulic
Good review.
But to improve the review would be to have a little more demonstration of off road such as doing a hill climb.
bighands69 Thanks for the suggestions. We base our review testing often on the scope and context of the vehicle here. In the case of the VW Touareg, even VW will tell you it is not meant to be an all-out off-road oriented vehicle. This is why it does not come with some of the more advanced locking and traction capabilities of say a Jeep Wrangler. We take these things into account when we decide how and what testing to subject vehicles to.
You should drive one with air suspension. That's smooth...
Nice review, music is a bit too loud when you are talking though...
Does it have a traditional 4x4 drivetrain?
Reliability? Cost of ownership?

TDI does NOT mean turbo diesel. It actually stands for: Turbocharged Direct Injection
In VW marketing lingo it meant turbo diesel.
