    Hi thanks for watching another video.
    Today we are following up on the S19 demo roll.
    HUGE THANKS to E-RIDERZ FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO POSSIBLE - they really do go out of their way to offer service to the whole community.
    This is a fun wheel, a real surprise for me.
    I really hadn’t paid much attention to its release with all the other releases.
    I also wasn’t the biggest fan of the looks.
    My initial impressions of the renders were that it looked cheap, like a plastic toy.
    It looks better in the flesh for sure!
    Well fitting parts, good consideration for needs with good lights, display, usb ports, speakers, rgb, pads etc all included out of the box.
    A real swiss army knife set up, it has everything and this makes for a good versatile wheel.
    I think it may eat a little V11 territory for a while, the suspension, more power, bigger battery and all the other add ons make it MORE WHEEL for a similar price.
    Durability of the sliders and plastics will be interesting to see and some more real world riding and range tests.
    Out of the box I was impressed and had a bunch of fun.
    Nice little brother to S22 for light jumps and bumps and a nice commuter or beginner wheel to grow with you as you develop.
    Cheers for watching.
    Thanks ERIDERZ.
    Back soon for a roll on the Patton and more V13 fun while we wait for V14.
    Cheers FnB.

    Great video Josh. I was excited to see more about the s19. I wonder how the s16 will compare with the customisable pad setup. Excited to see the extreme and v14 soon aswell! Still weighing up what's best for my next purchase

      Hey Dave, I did talk a lot about the pads but had audio issues with the original commentary, had to redo this late last night and missed a few things in the re edit.
      The pads worked but… Speakers on the back pad rub your ankle, you can brake but I’d like more pad. The front pad works ok but there is not enough contact to jump well. Can’t believe they made them permanent. I still found it kind of comfy out of the box though.

    It looks a lot better in this video, when it is being ridden than it does in the promo pictures. The weight is OK too considering it has a bigger battery, much more suspension travel and a far more powerful motor than the V11.

      Yea I would trade my V11 right now or maybe try to race the s19 for pinks. It was fun, i’d like a little more time with it for sure.
      Both times I saw this wheel it looked much better in the flesh than on paper, heaps better. I like the day look the metal gets a nice sheen. Night the RGB take it to another level!

    I really like the s19. But for those who live up 2-4 flights of stairs (non-elevator residential buildings) 32kg is still barely manageable. As close to 25kg KS could get would be far better.

      Yea I understand i'm glad a few smaller wheels are starting to land.

    Do you know what batteries they use? How did you find the handle? Can you change the front LEDs to just white and the rear lights to just red? Is there a stand? are different tyres an option or preferred? Has any manufacturer released designs for 3D printing spares? Sorry for all the questions.

      Hey Mike, thanks for the great questions. I realised after I did this roll I mostly got stoked and forgot to cover much of what I hoped. So I plan on going back for another roll. I would like to connect the app up and see the features related to the lights, test the trolley handle and go over the features and hardware a little closer. It does have a stand, it worked well and was very stable.
      I am not aware of any third party printed spares just yet, i’m sure there will be a bunch on the way though. Still thought it’s a pretty good all round wheel, range will be good to know.

    My wife is looking for a starter wheel that she can grow into. I think this is a good fit for her, she has enough speed to keep up with me on casual rides, but also can manage the weight more easily.

      I think it would be a great option, if you can maybe try it on for fit first at a demo ride. I really think as an overall package it’s a great wheel. If i started on this wheel I would be stoked with the ride. Good luck in your purchase.

    like the weight of S19 over other new 18 inch wheels, a bit worry about the slider though. waiting for V14

    • @eucaus
      @eucaus  10 місяців тому

      Totally agree, they fit a lot into that small design. I’m going to head back for another roll on it I think, left me wanting more :)
      Also super keen on V14, i think that’s where my money is.

    You didn't have anything to say about the pad set-up - no issue? It's surprizing to me that there is no flexibility there, it's just "like it or lump it" I guess.

    • @eucaus
      @eucaus  10 місяців тому

      Hi Dale. I did have to redo my commentary and missed a couple of points. I tried to add some text but you are right the pads deserved MUCH more attention.
      For me, they did at least fit a little. I found it ok out of the box.
      The worst feature of this wheel is the pads.
      I cannot believe they are set in place.
      I did find them comfortable, softer than they look and seems durable.
      The back pad which is a speaker, rubs and is hard so not the most comfortable there.
      No jump pads, the front pads for me weren’t low enough. I couldn’t get any purchase to pick the wheel up.
      I really want some GRIZZLA FLOW, i cannot see how a fairing plate will help.
      Seems just a missed opportunity and not greatly thought out.
      Sorry i missed it in the edit.

    Hi Josh. I am buying a new wheel to upgrade from my v11. I ride mostly offroad. Would you steer me towards an s19 or an s22?

    • @eucaus
      @eucaus  10 місяців тому

      Hmmm it’s a tough one. The sliders on both are my only concern, just maintenance. I think spending some time asking other users of the S22 might be a good idea. Jump into the dedicated groups on reddit or fbook. The S19 i guess needs a little more time before the durability is known. I think a little more power though might be nice in the trails, my short rolls on the s22 were great on the trails.
      Good luck, maybe also keep an eye on the new wheels about to drop. A lot of options atm.

    You must be very fit to ride this thing.
    What is the average weight limit?
    I'm trying to lose weight from being obese, I'm down to 287 lbs from 360 lbs... at what weight should I start shopping for an EUC?
    210 lbs?

    • @eucaus
      @eucaus  7 місяців тому

      Hey J.D - Hope you are well. I started when I was larger and it became a great way to keep active. If you go back to my very first vids I am sure I was larger. It helped me a lot. Mostly motivated me to keep moving and be active and over time I got fitter.
      There are weight ratings on different wheels. I know that you should keep an eye on that so maybe ask at a good store. Also remember you need to add the weight of your gear.
      Good luck man, I wish you well.

    Sorry nothing like the sad 22...name only...maybe what the 22 should have been...

    • @eucaus
      @eucaus  10 місяців тому

      it has the same pedals :) but yea. I also wish the 22 had have been more or maybe had more time spent refining it sooner from KS. Hoping some of what they learned made it into the design to fix this wheel. Let’s see I guess. Only had a quick roll, maybe i’ll try to revisit it. Had more I wanted to chat about.
      Have a good weekend man.
