    I've been thinking of getting a desktop dishwasher, but due to my ignorance of how they're plumbed in I've yet to get one. Now that I've watched this short video I'm surprised at how simple a process it is to set one up. I rent my flat and I was under the assumption that the pipe work would have to be placed down the back like a regular dishwasher. HOW WRONG I WAS! Thank you, this video has helped a great deal.

    I really like the countertop option. You don't have to be bending over all time. You wash dishes in smaller quantities so you don't need such a large stock in your cabinets. I recapture the hot water and use it to clean and disinfect my whole house and autos.

    Because a garden hose fitting has a smell to it from the internal rubber washer, and i feel like i'd get cancer or something drinking water using that fitting hahaha.

    • @surajjuthi5314
      @surajjuthi5314  27 днів тому

      @@iamsurebabydoll Good question, and thanks for commenting!
      I think firstly that the machine will use the same amount of water no matter where it is connected, so either the tap or any other part of the water line, so no getting around that I am afraid.
      The other thing is that usually machines like this just pull in a bit of water and try to use it as well as possible to clean, and then pull in some to clear the dishes off so it is not continuously pulling water. You can kind of hear the water being sucked in a few times and it will try to be as efficient as possible.
      I hope that answered your questions!

      @dopedrums 3 роки тому +1

      No you don't, those are two separate inlets. The "normal handle" goes to the sink and the "little switch" goes to a dishwasher of any kind and model. As soon as you turn the "little switch" on you have flowing water from that source. It's better to go the "little switch" route as you'll be able to use your faucet like normal whilst the dishwasher is doing its thing. If you connect your dishwasher directly to your faucet you'll have to wait for your dishwasher to finish before you can access your water which can be irritating if you have to cook food or just want a glass of water.
