Damn right the music is pretty good too! they seem so laid back in the way they perfom live....someone else said they lack polish even when they sometimes sound grand but I think that's all part of the attraction to their sound...sometimes they sound like a garage band and other times they haunt the hell outta me...but I love their sound...not another band out there like them and they carry their own unique style and sound within their music....

The throat is just like any other muscle. You can't use it when it's sore or strained. When Emily is in good health, she has the voice of an angel.

The drummer and bassist are definitely the strong point of this band and that's coming from a guitarist but then maybe I'm just bias look where I'm from haha ;-).
@GVAMS now now...dont hate....shes controlling the rickenbacker....like an artist to a paint brush.just cause you have an expensive one doesnt make your painting any good.your talent doesnt come from the instrument.
This era's Throwing Muses I guess, but a tad more formulaic and based on 80's uk indie, even their fx pedals and equipment is almost typecast of that era. I definitely think their better live, but it just sounds like hindsight music to me. Not much wrong with that currently, beats the formulaic chart crap.
