    How often should i do these excersises in a week. I have training with the team on tuesday and Thursday. I am gonna be 15 years old and i wannt to know how often i should do this training.

      @GroundGloryGoalkeeping  9 місяців тому +1

      15 years old is perfect to start! 💪
      I actually tell you in the end of the video. Don't overthink it: Do 3 or 4 of these exercises 2 or 3 times a week.
      As you do these exercises, your technique will improve, you will become stronger and more explosive, and when you start seeing results, your motivation grows, and it will all become a lot more fun. ☺️
      The important thing is to START!

      @@ManuelBuk Yes. Sounds like a really, really good idea. You could even do then monday and wednesday and completely rest on fridays (stretching and mobilty) if you're playing games on saturday.
      The most important part at your age is NOT to overthink it and just START!
      I got a self-training course coming out very soon and the first people get it very, very cheap - I think this course will be perfect yoy. I can send you a couple of examples and then you can get an idea about the drills for yourself ☺️

    Thank you for providing this structure. Q: How do I use this along with your other vertical jump video of 10 drills in 10 minutes? Want to get the right balance and variety for my daughter.

    • @GroundGloryGoalkeeping
      @GroundGloryGoalkeeping  4 місяці тому +1

      Hey!
      Of course! 💪
      It really depends on the situation.
      The other video is a training that's fast snd effective. You can do it in the morning, evening, before or after training.
      This video is more concentraited. I'd pick 3-4 exercises, do the recommended sets and reps and have a good rest between each set (at least a minute).
      I'd say this training is BETTER long term because it really maximizes your power with the rest time but the other one is faster and better for your fitness.
      But normally when you training plyometrics (jump training), you want to have good rest between the sets to really maximize your jumps and power for each drill.
      Hope this helps 🙏

    Hey man,loved this vid! Am a short gk (5'6 at 14 years of age), I know plyometrics will hopefully go a long way for me. What else can I do to improve my game, except for the technical aspect? Would also love to see your take on 1v1s, I'm horrible at them.

    • @GroundGloryGoalkeeping
      @GroundGloryGoalkeeping  3 місяці тому

      @@upamanyumukherjee9113 Yeah, plyometrics will be super important to you. What you don't have in height, you can make up for in jump power and overall athleticism. Not all pro goalies are 6'4.
      Here's a thorough video of 1v1, personally I think this video is a bit underrated: ua-cam.com/video/Lch3un35Xw0/v-deo.htmlsi=mz4sFXHBmgdq4hfo ☺️

      @@upamanyumukherjee9113 when you're a young goalkeeper, this is very, very normal.

      @@GroundGloryGoalkeepingThanks so much, you actually reply to those who comment......love it.....but any other tips for consistency? I recently met some new guys at the park, played well against them.....but the next day I couldn't save 1 shot (partially because of wounds and back pitch)....I really need to improve my performance consistency.I want to make it in some sort of H.S team quickly, although I know I'm screwed since I've only started playing footy since last year. I don't expect you to reply,this is a long back and forth, but if you do,some tips would be greatly appreciated. Love the vids ❤❤

    • @GroundGloryGoalkeeping
      @GroundGloryGoalkeeping  3 місяці тому

      @@upamanyumukherjee9113 Of course, I reply. I didn't create this channel for myself. I created it for goalkeepers like yourself which I can actually help.
      But I'm afraid that there isn't any magic pill or magic drill. You just need to keep working hard. Thinking about what you can improve to next time. Learn the PROPER TECHNIQUE - practice it, every day.
      Your performances are going to swing. As you said, you started last year. It's totally normal. Eat well, sleep well, prepare mentally for every training as if it's a game, and just practice hard. The better you become, the better your technique is, the less your swings will be.
      Boring answer but this is the truth ☺️
