Great video on the Mirada Lagoon Community in San Antonio which we considered but chose the Lagoon community of Southshore Bay in Wimauma which has less crowds and many amenities of convenience around us (grocery, gas, Walmart and many other places for everyday needs) plus just up the street you will be transported to downtown Wimauma where the Mexican culture and cuisine is fantastic

You made a great choice! San Antonio seems like it is going to take at least another Decade or so to fully develop, nothing really out there and its mostly rural. I like the lagoon and neighborhood you live in, its beautiful and you are closer to Sarasota, Bradenton and close to Brandon, Riverview and Tampa along with Lakeland.

What’s the best community between Tampa area and Clermont/ Orlando?

Nothing between them but wetlands and swamp land. Groveland which is right next to Clermont is really nice and rural. You have Lakeland and Davenport to the south but not much.

This is a very nice place. However, if you see it and think you can enjoy the entire lagoon - you can't! Probably not even 20% of it. The vast majority of the lagoon is not for open swim as the other 80% is reserved exclusively for paddle boarding and kayaking where your body is not actually in the water. I spent $450 bucks for my family of four (all access) plus a cabana only to discover upon arrival that we (along with everyone else) were constrained to a very small portion of this massive lagoon. If I had known this, I would not have driven over from Orlando to play in what amounts to a large pool. You certainly do not get to take advantage of the "lagoon".
