looks like so much fun seeing all the different tractors and plows doing what
they do best working the land! great video thanks for sharing.
That ground is working up beautiful! Plows are all set right, looks nice and level . I have a 1955 70 diesel and a jd #55 trip plow all restored. Sure wish I was there with you guys! You really have some nice plows 👍👍! Thank you for a great video and hope you keep them coming 👏. Stay safe and God bless 👍👍
Nice tractors, enjoy the video
Nothing beats the sound of a two cylinder working!
Doc
Awesome video. So glad you were able to have plow day. It’s cool to see so many old tractors still out there working.
Thanks for video it'sgood too see the plowing I hope one day to meet you
Thank you! One day you will!
That is awesome love the channel
Thank you!
Thank you for the rembers the smell of freshley plowed soil just as the sun aproaches the horizon. Turning nite to early morning !! What a healthy smell.
Nice, thanks for sharing!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Good to see those old tractors getting it done! Good for them to get out and do some work.
What a great thing to be able to do with your family, great sights and sounds 👍
Excellent video as always!
FUNDAY SUNDAY!!!🤣 Definitely looks like the plows are set perfect! Nice Video for sure! Love the Lil Oliver plow!🤣😎
Go Brandon, I really did enjoy this episode especially all the John Deere's and mixed breeds also. The sound of all those tractors breaking land reminded me of 60 years ago just before I went into the military we had 2 John Deere's, 3 red belly Fords and one Farmall cub that was used to clean up the end edges of the fields. What fun that was the most enjoyable time of the new year was turning new ground to start the season. Thanks again.
Great dirt! Plows are working great. I usually set my back coulter a little deeper to make a cleaner furrow wall.
Nice soil for the old two Cyl. Thanks
Great video! I really enjoyed watching everyone plowing with all the great tractors. Thanks for a wonderful video👍
Just my opinion but the plow on the4020 does the nicer job of any of the others
It is wonderful to see the old tractors and plows. I spent many hours on a super m and 3 bottom 55 plow. Then moved up to 4020 diesels that we thought were the biggest tractors ever.
Thank You for sharing this. Hearing the 2 bangers and IH was so so enjoyable
Thanks Again 🤗🤗🤗
That’s fantastic you guys got the toys out. Love hearing those twin lungers in the field. Sausage KILLED it on her tractor!!! Great job Sausage!!!!! I’m sure there will be more in her collection. So excited when this popped up. It’s equal to dump trucking to me. Now will you guys have to finish plowing the field before planting or something else y’all do? Thanks for taking the time to video this!!
Looks like a fun afternoon!
Nice looking 720 I got to run a 720 diesel when I worked for a local farmer many yrs ago. I had a mounted 4 bottom and it pulled the 14 ft harrow gator planting corn. A true horse of a tractor. Nothing like the smell of ground turning and diesel smoke.
Love that sound! Jonnie poppers
That dirt is beautiful! Look like a good time
Your dads 720 sounds awesome. Those 620’s sound pretty good themselves. Dad Strength straight pipe H sounds great as well. As a user of mostly vintage equipment, my newest tractor in a 1975 Massey, I love seeing y’all putting these old machines to work. I’ll be pulling a 4 bottom IH with the Massey soon if it ever stops raining.
Them good old tractor and plow should make the ground look good when it’s turnover love to watch.
Looked like everyone had a big smile on
My dad got me into plowing a few years ago and I love it!!! Unfortunately it's to muddy where I am in the country to plow yet so I have to wait a little while longer before I can even start getting ready to plow. You guys have fun and enjoy!!:)
Geoff here in australia looks really good dirt your plowing there guys
Green or red I love to see that old iron work 👍
That's some good looking dirt ya got up that way. Looks like you need to spray though, there's red things all over your ground.
Best regards from Boone county, Indiana.
Am I the only one, or does anyone else count how many bottoms the different tractors are pulling? Nice little plow day video.
Your dads 720 doesn’t smoke a drop.you guys got set up just right. Thanks again
Those 2 cylinders are music to my ears...
For me this would not be work this would be nothing but fun to do! Love all the tractors in the video here but especially the model A The first thing I drove was one very similar to the one in this video!
That card could be some great Merchandise-the family that plows together stays together
I wish i was there with you guys
Love the 620!
Maybe I'm weird, but I love old tractors having a fun plow day, or several thrashing together.
Used to run a 720 pulling a 4 bottom Deere Moline plow. Had the spring hitch on it hooked to the clutch lever in case you hit a rock. Quick trip to the hospital if you had your leg in the way if you did hit one.
That is some really nice dirt you got there. Not at all like this yellow clay and rocks like we have.
Love it
These are the tools and sounds of the people who fed the world through the Cold War when other nations were breaking soil with horses, ox and mules.
Oh how I long to back in PERU, INDIANA; PLOWING, DISCING, AND PLANTING ON: John Deere B;Farm All H, Ford 8N,and my Cock Shutt 50! But here I am; stuck in Texas with BX25 Kubota!
720 , how much horse power , I drove one back in the mid 60's , sweet tractor !
Pops 720 is a BEAST!
Ole corn got that 4020 looking and running good
wish I was there guys, have 2 830, 820 and a 730 which I used last year at a neybores, love plowing
Working good
Ol boy with out the hood hell yeah I ain’t finished yet
H 💪
We need a video of how to adjust the plows
I remember my Uncle Bill used on plow feilds was 1950 Cockshutt COOP 40 43 hp also 60 torque of a 235 Cubic Cm size 6 cylinder gas Buda motor 6 volt positive ground electric start or crank type also pull type of a not sure year of McCormick Deerning 6 row had 2 handle 2 front rubber of truck tread 16 inches also on back was 14" and my dad used 1968 International 624 A 60 hp Desiel motor 4 cylinders 206 Cubic Inches Double Displacement no turbo with 4 row John Deere plow no wheels but 3 point hitch hook up only ! Back in 1992 was wet year of Spring Season plus Summer at first of season remember seen my dad 1968 International 60 hp with 4 row John Deere plow and tractor floating up on drive wheels spinning throw mud in air plowing away and asked him did that ! He said put up high range plus gear 2 out four speed plus differential lock on plus lots throttle about 1500 RPM on Cruise Control stick he Lol! Because he so dirty come for meals head to toe to ! Also mom told him bath up would you too and he said like kid in playing in sand box making mud Lol but I am adult and tractor plowing instead Lol ! Hope Lol at that BRANDON :) also Uncle Bill did same on Cockshutt but he was 4 to 6 gear plus had used brakes pedal didn't have Differential lock but wore out pads fast too on brakes need down after plow 350 acres ! Also nice seeing John Deere tractor and Farmall H runs up to Brandon for plow only one didn't have was Dozer out Lol!
I never plowed ground like that before. Our 530 with a three disc plow in our bottom land was rough discing twice before planting. Our upper land was better but still requires two discings.
good video but no ALLIS CHALMERS TRACTORS
Are you going to get a R model for the collection
First
Nary a stone in sight.....beautiful soil
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Second
yore way ealier than us up here northeastern BC Canada, least a month
Was this just as common back in the day? Can only imagine how long this would take with just a single 2 or 3 row plow, nevermind pre tractor days.
Fields and farms weren't nearly as big.
I pull a 4 -14 semi mounted plow with my 630
Zome in we want to see the model numbers
At least with your guys you all plan on the same depth and you're all doing a great job or when I go plowing guys don't give a damn what kind of work do they do when they plow and the field looks like s***some plow 4in deep some + 7
Did you have to stop and wait for that red one.looked like you where running right up on him. Thanks
We pull 314 with our farmall H well might be like a 350 now but yeah
H is looking/sounding good, don't tell Farmall Fanatic I said that about an H!
Where did you find a 5 bottom pull type plow?
City and town people will never understand this will they.....
You need rocks to create additional excitement
Hey you forgot one where's your G that be a good one
Was that an LP tank on the JD4000? Like how they had the 620LP model…
No that was not an LP tank
Fiel tank.
Fuel
Way too much plow on that Model A.
An A would never handle a 3 bottom on my ground.
@@lfeco No doubt. I don't think it can handle a three bottom in any ground, not even in that nice rock free land they're plowing here. You can see she isn't near deep enough and it's not rolling off the top of the moldboards. Here in the hills of Pennsylvania we used a 1-18 Minneapolis-Moline trailering roll over plow on our 1950 Model A. In our rocks and heavy clay, one 18" was all it could pull properly.
No MC?? WTF??🙁
Anyone got 420. 😂😂😂😂
I sold one a few years back. I’m looking for a 420 crawler now so I can smoke and push at the same time.
Wish I could get a call to "hey lets go plow a field"... Looks like everybody has their plows trimmed out pretty good. I have an Oliver plow just like that two bottom.
Too bad you didn't have 820 or 830 there
The jd4000 sounds like a Detroit.
