SO FANTASTIC to see that sweet, tiny girl who was so sick, looking like a million bucks, kicking butt on the Rock Wall and heading to Guelph, solo, for some quality time with the Uni pals. Awesome. You are amazing, Jess. Talk about getting right back on the horse after being thrown. Wow. Congrats on your Semester. You are one tough, smart, sweet Cookie…a chip off the ole Brock block 😅 (see what I did there ?) Hope you and the Fam have a wonderful Christmas, and wishing you abundantly good health in 2024.
as a londoner, london is really.... not the best 😅 especially in the winter its so grey and depressing. i think the best thing is the mix of people here and how theres always a million things to do like its impossible to be bored!! but there are sooo many areas of the uk that are gorgeous to visit in summer, especially cornwall & parts of scotland and wales so would defo rec coming in the summer!
Congratulations on finishing the Fall 2023 semester. Woo Hoo! Hats off to you for getting right back on the saddle and into it! Looks like you picked the best time to go to Iceland … since your trip, there’s been so many earthquakes/volcanic eruptions as of late. Was just watching the news and the coverage on the latest eruption. If it weren’t for your trip I would be clueless as to where all these eruptions are happening on the island. Scotland and the U.K. sounds like a plan … save up … it’s costly … but having been there to see some of it … I have no regrets and wish I could have stayed longer and seen more! It was about a year before the Berlin Wall came down. You won’t be able to do both in a fortnight. And yes, Canada has a lot to offer in travelling as well. The Eastern provinces are absolutely gorgeous … and this is coming from a born ‘n bred Westerner … I was pleasantly surprised, given the terrain of the Rockies to compare to. I spent the majority of my life in Ontario but have since returned to AB … no regrets here. 😊 I’m glad you’re taking full advantage of life in your youth! You have an amazing attitude Jess … we’re all very proud of your achievements! You go girl!!! 🙏🙌❤️🇨🇦
I felt much the same about London when I was a kid -- probably because my folks lived there during the war. When I first went when I was 9, the absolute Mecca in all of Greater London was Hamley's on Regent Street, the most incredible toy store I'd ever seen. And wouldn't you know it, my very first purchase was a book -- The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Grahame -- and a small hardbound copy without any of the Ernest Shepard illustrations that later became my favourites. Still have it somewhere.
Glad the exam is behind you. Taking the train to Scotland from London is beautiful and less stressful than flying. Map out and run by Cammie with his police background. There are busy areas you want to avoid. Having a network helps. My daughter did it after graduation and there were challenging moments but unforgettable landscapes. Enjoy your holiday prep 🎄
Jessica, congratulations in finishing the fall semester. I wish you good luck in the winter semester and what courses will you be taking in the winter term?
That's too bad that you broke your Santa mug. Those are some very good notes. Congratulations on finishing your fall semester! That sounds like a fun trip. Very nice backpack. Very nice jeans. Good job with the rock climbing. That sushi looks yummy. The pork looks yummy as well. Those sound like some great travel plans.
I actually have been making hot matcha lattes the same way you do it for iced but I just use the hot setting on the frother. Fill the frother with milk to the top line, then add 1/2 teaspoon matcha, then short press for hot ☺️ delicious with a spoon of vanilla syrup as well!
Hello Jess ,I'm so happy to see you doing well and that you finished this semester, congratulations. Enjoy the holidays. Sending blessings from Michigan.
Great video Jess, it always puts a smile on my face when one of your videos shows up, and you look amazing by the way and hope you’re exam went great too, hope you have a great day.❤❤
U could get a summer or part time job at a bookstore or library or newspaper in another area for 6 months then travel on again for another 6 months. That way u can still go online to do your farm business course, travel & see the country.
Highly recommend Scotland! Our son attends college in Glasgow and we have been there to visit three times and have seen a lot of the country. You will love it 😊
I had to admit something. I don't recall which vlog it was, but you were out with your Mom I believe, and you went out for something to eat and you had POUTINE!!! OMGosh...my mouth was watering. It's been too long since I had that...I so miss Toronto (home)...now in NV...Congrats as well for completing your exams, hope you pass with flying colours...Merry Christmas
Yay fall semester is over! You look so pretty and I Love that neck line so classy! I would Love to see more of your travels if you're going I have agoraphobia so UA-cam is how I travel I know about farming and homesteading from all over it's amazing! Travel on! 🗺️🧡💜🧡
When I was much younger, I Traveled from Montréal to Victotia, going to Banff and Jasper. Returned on the Canada highway in the south. So I 've been to Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC and back to Québec. I did it in 3 wks. Was wonderful. Might make it to the Maritimes. Will see.
London looks like all the pictures but if you go, you will get pollution up your nose, it's gross. London is a max of 4 days for me personally, I stay long enough to see what and who I plan to and there's nothing further for me really, I am usually ready to go somewhere smaller so I catch the trains out to other places because the smaller cities in the UK are beautiful!! And as someone from New Zealand who did a two week roadtrip in Scotland, it reminded me of where I come from!! You really won't be disappointed!!! Whenever you go, hire a car and drive around, the people are lovely!❤️ Living there would be different. I moved to the Netherlands - very different place to live than visit. Still beautiful. If you head this way, come during the summer. It's not as bright here in winter as it is in Canada, Aussie, US or New Zealand. It's just different darker light which is hard to adapt to tbh and I have been here for 6 years now. I have my heart set on Canada in the next few years for a visit because I have always seen it as a bigger New Zealand with more snow and bears 🐻 and no kiwi birds haha. You can always try a working holiday after uni as you have til your 30/31st birthday and if you like it you can just catch a flight home, it's no big deal really.
You must absolutely put Vancouver Island on your travel list! It is friggin’ beautiful here. My son and grandson go hiking, mountain climbing, boating in Lake Cowichan, fishing in the ocean, and there are weekend markets in most towns with artisanal foods, arts and crafts. You can do Victoria from here (Duncan) in a day trip or drive to Tofino on the west coast in 3 1/2 hr. 🦌💌❤️🙏👍
My husband and I had our honeymoon in England and Scotland. London was the best for the history & touristy things. Love it. Man the Tube is the best. Europe does the subway right. But our favorite was the country side. The lake district and the pastures and sheep grazing. 😍 My grandparents are from England and Scotland, were born 1895 & 1900. My greatgrandmother Downie was married to a drunk and supported herself in Merseyside by running a boarding house for Scottish girls learning to be maids. They left England after WWI and went to NYC. I'd love to go back and search out the places my relatives lived, especially in the western part and in Scotland. I'm convinced you'll get there and it will be wonderful. This 60 yo still wishes I could live in a cottage with a thatched roof and little garden in a small village & ride my bike everywhere. 😂 I wish I could jump into the scenes on All Creatures Great and Small.
You should see Canada by train on the Via rail Canadian! Beautiful way to see Canada! I am physically challenged and did a solo trip in Sept/Oct 2019 Toronto to Vancouver 4 nights. It was a bucket list item for me! 😊 Next I want to do Toronto to Halifax 😊
Question, how do they know you haven’t got a laptop beside you to refer to or a copy of the book, not that you would. I’m just interested in how the exam boards monitor this. Congrats finishing. If you coming to England and want to see some character buildings you should go to York, such history, Edinburgh especially in the Edinburgh Festival, but expensive. Love Canada - Vancouver, Whistler, Montreal, Toronto, Niagara by the Lake - had great touring holidays, good memories.
My granddaughter is just finishing her junior semester at purdue in Indiana. And quite glad to be finished . She is a bio/chem major major workin in the field develop lab at the university to help in crop development.
SUGGESTION: one of our local meteorologist loves to travel. He used to go through travel company for group tours to different places or cruises. Eventually, he became like hired tour guide to head these travel groups. I wonder if you could do something like that. Pair up with travel agency to guide group tours or sponsor your travels and advocate for them on UA-cam. Or maybe turn into a travel influencer and see if you can get different hotels or places to cover your costs in return for showing and reviewing their facilities on UA-cam.
I’m actually there (London) right now. Well, til the 23 rd at least. I love it here. My fiancé has a flat here which I’m looking after it at the moment before I head to uae where he lives/works, but gotta say i love it here in London. Def a must to visit and the food options are tremendous, not to mention the many, many touristy sights to see. I’m from the states and tbh, prefer it here in UK. Edinburgh is a great city if you’re wanting to visit Scotland. Loved it there too. If you go you should try the Haggis tower at the Whisky Restaurant on their Main Street there. I’m a very picky eater but that was amazing. If you like sausage (sorta like breakfast type sausage here in the states with a lot of peppery flavors) then you would like it. It’s haggis, neeps (mashed turnips) and tatties (mashed potatoes) with whiskey sauce and oat crackers on the side. Soo yummy. Lil interesting thing to see in Edinburgh is Mary King’s Close. It’s an underground “attraction” where you see a part of the city/street as it was hundreds of years ago and the some of the actual buildings that are still hidden underneath the streets of today. Love watching you and your mom’s videos and hoping you all have a wonderful holiday season.
Oh no not the Santa mug is it repairable I doubt it, you may be lucky and Santa will bring you a new mug. btw you looked beautiful tonight, I am so fortunate to live in Scotland please come and visit it’s a beautiful country with amazing scenery and people 😊

Oh, and I also recommend YT channel Scotland Unplugged as a resource to learn more about the country. I know there are other channels that are Scotand focused but I've been watching that one for a while and really enjoying it.

One of my friends moved to Glasgow Scotland. She is getting married in 2025 and invited me to her wedding. I would absolutely love to go. It looks so beautiful there. I think that you would definitely enjoy a holiday in Cape Town, South Africa. I love living here and Christmas here in Cape Town, especially now in the summer, is a must do for anyone who wants to try a summer Christmas.
I am from South Africa and, yes, Cape Town is a beautiful place for a holiday. So much to do and see. I am from KwaZulu-Natal but would move to Cape Town in a heartbeat ❤
What type of milk are you using in your milk frother? Come to Beautiful B.C. you will fall in love with all of the things you can do here. It really is beautiful just like our license plates say!

I am in New Brunswick and you will love it here if you come to visit!

Have you been to America much? If not, where would you like to go?
Looked like dancing to the Macarena! 👍👍👍
If you’ve ever read any of the ‘Brother Cadfael’ books series, you should visit Shrewsbury.
The old town, the remains of Roman statuary and the Abby of St Peter and St Paul are still there, as spoken of in the books.
In fact you’ll find my Family name on one of the ancient floor stones of the Abbey it self.
Love from Australia 🇦🇺

Where have you traveled in the USA?
Hi Jessica I'm from Edinburgh Scotland its a beautiful city . So many historical places to visit . You should come see for your .xx
I love to travel to London.
Go to Scotland for Christmas and new year 2025!❤ Best time!!
Hi Jess! If you want to come to England and Scotland then better do it in summer (or indeed around Christmas).
I'm in Belgium and the weather here is quite similar to that of England meaning LOTS of rain and LOTS of grey days from october all the way to march. It's quite challenging at times.
You're really blessed to have crispy, frosty, blue open skies in winter!
At least once a week I hear myself sighing that I wished I'd live in Canada (at least whether wise) 😆
Q: If you'd win 35 million CAD what would you do?
Happy to see you healthy and enjoying life again !! ❤
I wish I was as laid back as you, Jess. I was/am so type A, needing to get straight As on everything (um….except math 🤣).
May be you can meet with @kinging-it in Scotland. It might be a great connection. Love your vlogs. Enjoy your holidays!
Come to Alberta, bring you parents and I would love tour you around
Regarding your exam ... if it's online, how would they know if you used a text book instead of notes? Or did some googling with your cellphone?
