    sir... there is mistake in answer of Q3... actually u2 is equal to (2314.305 kJ/Kg) not (2470.77 kJ/Kg)...hence Δu will be equal to (-468.275 kJ/Kg) ..isn't it!!

      not KJ/Kg only KJ coz there is 1 Kg of internal energy present

    Sir i have doubt about this sum Steam is initially dry saturated at 9 bar in each of the following cases. Determine,
    1) its dryness fraction if it loses 50 kJ/kg heat at constant pressure, 2) the degree of

      Dear Bhargava
      u is in KJ/kg
      h is KJ/kg
      But
      P is in bar so to convert it in KJ/kg , it is necessary to multiply the equation with 10^2.

    Sir , here you are using same saturated steam table for everything , shouldn't we use superheated steam table for the superheated values?

      Dear Devarsh if we didn't multiply the answer with 5 then answer would be for 1 kg of steam and actually in numerical, 5 kg of steam is given so final answer multiply with 5.
