This was a mild storm. This storm surge is not bad at all. The problem is that the coast has been moving inward for a long time. When your house is way too close to the water, a little surge is a big problem.
A hundred yards away, people were going on with their lives.

My Rabbi told me that when he got the warning from Jim Cantore the day before nicole came he was like "Oh no the bad weathermen is here i got to board the synagogue or water is going to get in, Can't forget the challah as well" then he went home

And I thought I was going to get a 5 foot storm surge in dunedin but turns out not exactly just Thunder and lightning following with bad rain and crazy wind. But lost power for 3 hours
