    Hello, nice video!
    I have question.
    How to make soapwort root juice?
    What is name on turkish soapwort root juice?
    What temparatur need to be when cook socker lemon salt and glucose?
    Regards and hello from Serbia!

    • @ChefSalimRecipes
      @ChefSalimRecipes  Рік тому +1

      What you need to do is to soak 2 soapwort roots in water the night before and boil the water. After boiling the water, add powdered sugar or granulated sugar and whisk with the help of a mixer until it becomes thick.
      It is sold under the name of Çöwen Water in Turkey.
      I don't know the temperature exactly, the fire is burning at the bottom, they cook it that way 👍

    Any links to a scaled down recipe I could attempt to follow at home? Have tried this with just Honey/Tahaini and ended up with Tahini fudge rather than the crumbly delicious Halva.

    • @ChefSalimRecipes
      @ChefSalimRecipes  3 роки тому +1

      Turkish tahini halva is like this, so it doesn't crumble, Can be made at home with the same ingredients, Can be made at home with the same ingredients,
      1 cup of powdered sugar
      2 fingers missing tahini from 1 cup
      2.5 cups of flour
      5 tablespoons of butter
      Pistachio
      FABRICATION
      First, melt the butter in a pan. Then we add flour on it and fry it for 10 minutes, add powdered sugar on it, and fry it for 15-20 minutes on very, very low heat. Of course, in the meantime, we roast the pistachios in another pan, while roasting, we crush the peanuts a little bit. After roasting for 7-8 minutes, we add the peanuts to the flour mixture, then add it to the tahini and mix well. We fry it like this for 7-8 minutes and add a bag and add the mixture to any mold in order to be able to remove it easily later. We leave it to cool outside. After cooling, we add our halva to the refrigerator and after a day you can take it out and serve it by slicing. Bon Appetit.
