We Jimny owners, thank you. I have the same problem at 70-80 km per hour and I was hoping I could get away with just balancing the wheels, but watching this video I realize that this is what I have to do. I hope to find a good car service, for that you did an extraordinary job and with a sense of responsibility.
I'd emphasise the point at 2:09 - sometimes the kingpin bearing can be so ruined and nasty that it doesn't wobble when you check for play with your hands! It can feel totally solid! If you've got an old vehicle with no history of them being changed and live somewhere where rust is a big problem (UK..!) then consider this possibility even if you aren't getting play. Look for leaking oil out the seal too.
Fantastic video, your one of the only people I've seen who do a proper clean and change all the appropriate parts. We'll done young man and keep up the good work. Love your jeep. 🙏👍😎
Greetings from Pontassieve, province of Florence, Italy. I have a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine from 2001, all original, which I use to travel through fields, forests and mountains on agricultural and forestry roads used by logging companies.
i have a question bro, im on manual hublocks, but it seems my 4wd not working even when i lock the front wheels. what seems to be the problem? thanks in advance!
El boletin de suzuki recomienta poner cuñas en los pivotes, como creen que resulte? Sera suficiente con cambiar los rodamientos? Necesito hacer este mismo trabajo, algunos dicen que es necesario cambiar los pivotes... Que opinan?
@@Zaff_TT Seriously though, every time I go on holiday, I always try to hire a Jimny for exploration purposes😀! Have never managed to hire one yet and always end up in some boring run of the mill shopping trolley car 😏🫠
That press you made is Boss! Thanks for the real deal info. I'll be going after my front end shortly so your video was just in time. Have a great New Year and here's to more great Jimny love in 2024🎉

What do you mean by indenting the lock nut?

You need a Quaife ATB in the rear diff and a E locker in the front diff and you will go anywhere.

If you don't have a press putting the bearing in the freezer for a few hours usually makes them just drop in.
