Thank you so much for mentioning “wearing fragrances for yourself” and “getting pleasure” out of what you buy. Life is stressful and challenging. I wear clothes, makeup, jewelry and fragrance for ME. If others like it, that’s a bonus.
Exactly on point with pleasing yourself with fragrance. I feel women that purchase scents just to please others, or keep up with influencers, have missed the point completely. I love to hear from you, because I feel that you understand scents being a personal journey. Not following the crowd. I love Rose scents. The best that I have found is Stella by Stella McCartney. I have had it for years. It is beautiful. Have a blessed day.
Who dictates what the point is? People have different motivations for wearing fragrance and there's nothing wrong with that. This is coming from someone who works on inner as well as outer beauty. No need to neglect one for the other. Why not both?
Yeah, it's kind of sad how many people will easily spend a fortune on something like perfumery purely in the hopes of getting validation from strangers.
Thank you for reviewing high end dupes that have better silage, longevity, and that you recommend above the original. I love your videos and honesty! Thank you for doing your reviews this will help a lot of people!
I just love watching and listening to you. You have a lovely accent and you always look so stylish. I'm glad you review more affordable scents. Not everyone can afford high end so it's nice to have some recommendations that are affordable for everyone. Thank you!
Encre Noir is wonderful. I purchased on your recommendation because of the notes you spoke of. I love it, especially when dried down. Cannot stop smelling my wrist and your “Dark Forest” description was spot on.
Enjoyed this review, music and background. I have Janoon Noir and it’s lovely. It does smell like Dama Bianca. However, the quality to Dama Bianca is higher, smells more refined. Janoon Noir lasts much, much longer . I’m always really disappointed that such expensive fragrances do not lasts. For the price, niche fragrances should be beast mode.
I'm glad you are introducing some Arabian brands. I once had a patient from UAE and she smelled amazing but could not tell me what fragrance she was wearing as she did not speak English. I was mesmerized by the scent but since I'm not familiar with any of Arabic brands I gave up on searching. I'm also glad that you are introducing brands that in many instances are better than the more expensive ones. Love your channel!!!
There's the hidden famous Rose de Taifi, it grows ONLY in Saudi Arabia. It's super expensive and rare and just a example of many of the scents not known to Western people!!
@Lidia Lesniak, fair warning: the Arabian perfume houses are a rabbit hole once jumped in, never to come out again! I have a wishlist 4 pages long with designer perfumes, but my Middle Eastern one is slowly, but surely beating it in length...AND beating them in my collection. I've not bought a single 'regular' perfume except for YSL Libre in a year because I keep finding amazing original products and so called Inspired by fragrances - calling them dupes or copies would indeed be the wrong thing because they quite often take the pyramid and give it their own twist. Some perfumes even become better for it. In Europe, particularly The Netherlands ME- perfumes don't come cheap. While they're still more affordable than designer or niche, in comparison I pay much more than people in the US, UK or Germany for example (it all depends on shipping costs if it is worth it to get one in Germany), so for blind buys that s**ks a bit. But... so far only 3 are not my thing. They're very nice in the air & on paper, but just don't work great on my skin (yummy on others, not on me). So, I'm happy and getting more knowledgeable by the second. Brands like Lattafa and Armaf are usually quite easy to find, meaning that I buy them most. Ajmal, Afnan, Rasasi, Ard Al Zaafaran and Al Haramain are harder, but I'll soon have 1 of each ;) and adding Al Rehab to it. That leaves Attar Collection (can't afford it), Junaid (can't find it here and can't afford it in other EU countries), Al Maghribi, Hamidi, El Nabeel etc etc. Ya see: rabbit hole... not getting out. Not minding it though, hihi. And maybe this flood of brands will help you out. A Fragrant Glance is a great Middle Eastern UA-camr who often gives good tips. She personally wears a lot of unisex fragrances and those often have oudh - agarwood and I aren't the best of friends but after 2 failed tries I'm going to try again soon - but in general even the unisex perfumes seem/are very sweet. I'm happy I found another channel where I might find a few new gems ! Good luck and have fun on your search.
@@misssunnydee I see what you mean.😄 Here in the US I have to relay on online orders of Arabic perfumes as they are not available in stores anywhere. I am following different u tubers to see the rviews and recommendations. Thank you for recommending a new channel for me!❤
I don’t hear enough about the Amber Oud , I have to say I absolutely love all of the Al Haramain Amber Oud editions that I had to buy them all, plus they are at such affordable prices for the quality.
What a classy, relaxing and entertaining presentation. I trust you!!! You look gorgeous! Like I immediately ordered Tobacco Oud and Junoon Noir. I will be looking into the rest.
In my 70s, I purchase perfumes for my own pleasure, not for any effect on those around me. It's important that a perfume is long-lasting, I have bought some lovely ones but they evaporate straight off my skin, so I end up using them as body sprays. I need to be able to whiff a perfume on me from time to time during the day, otherwise I feel I've wasted money on it. A lovely long-lasting one I have is White Jasmine by Woods of Windsor. Another long-lasting one is Tubereuse by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier - it is reminiscent of melting tarmac on a hot summer's day and I've used it for years, very often layered with Patchouli Oil by Julia Lawless: this combination draws admiring comments.
Thank you so much for this video. Some of the fragrances are on my wish list for a long time, but the high price and poor performance stopped me from buying. Now I can try the budget dupes.
Thank you for your tip, I got today my first bottle of Lalique Encre Noir, this was a blind buy, based on your story, what a unique fragrance, especially in drydown, very longlasting, looking forward to your next video🌸
I completely agree, I own both TF Tobacco Vanille...and the rub, is that I have a very large bottle of it...and I have Al Haramain Tobacco Edition and...the other rub...I like it more and it performs way better. Al Haramain has become one of my favorite houses, not just Middle Eastern, just in general. Your videos have helped me aquire some gorgeous frags from the house.
I came across this video and I am glad I watched it. I agree with you. Actually I do own Junoon Noir. I love it more then Dama Bianca. I last longer. I am going to try a few of your recommendations. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I had to press pause as this is my first time on your channel and because I wear fragrances based on my mood and I just sprayed on the Amber Oud Tobacco Edition to see how it would smell and perform in my skin. On one arm I have Al Haramin Junoon Noir and the other arm Amber Oud. 😍
First of all, sorry for my English, it's not very good, but I discovered your channel and I like your content so much, I couldn't stop thanking you. I love, very much, your way of expressing yourself, your tranquility that you transmit, and communicating clear and deep concepts, which make me look at you for a long time without getting bored. I know very well that I am listening to someone who is passionate about what she speaks. Btw: I lived in Ukraine for some time, and you are the person from Eastern Europe with the best English I have ever heard.
I can back you up about Azora. I found it more pleasing than Fleur Narcotique. It’s more rounded; the enhanced fruitiness gives a satisfying tart bite, which FN does not have. I will have to give Al Rayhan a try because I am trying to find a more affordable dupe to Vetiver Tonka by Hermes, which is compared to Bal d’Afrique. Tbh the three fragrances I’ve tried from Ex Nihilo haven’t been that great. FN and Lust in Paradise are quite underwhelming and have headache potential. Viper Green is fine but not amazing. I also agree on Encre Noire. It’s better than Sycomore. That one surprised me when I was finally able to try it because it was SO dry and bitter, like a chunk of wood. Encre Noire has more body to it, more complexity. It’s more accessible without compromising sophistication. The other two flankers are also gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 🙏😊🌷My yesterday's discovery that I'm so excited about is D&G The Only One Intense de Parfum is an amazing replacement for Rouge Malachite from Armani Prive. It's just magical! It's my new potential addiction 😊
I have both Rose de Caroline and Love, and I couldn’t really say they are very similar. Love is sweet, warm, dense, and Rose de Caroline is transparent, cold, prickly. And I prefer Love, I think it’s more comfortable to wear.
Oh I also love Encre Noire! So good. I agree with you on longevity. It is so irritating when a perfume doesn't last, especially with some of the prices we pay. Thank you for this video! oxJulia
First time i see a video from you and i liked it, also checked your other content and looks promising! Love the way you speak about the perfumes, one of the few youtubers that comes across like honest and sincere, you have a new subscriber dear.
Thank you so much for this video and the options you share with us! I totally share your opinion on pleasing ourselves with the perfume we choose. I don't like the mass taste, the croud pleasers... On the contrary, I am looking for the right scent to match MY mood/emotion/vibe/outfit, you name it...the ME today.🙂 And I am also very disapointed if I pay a lot for a perfume and don't receive the corresponding performance in terms of longevity. You already gave some new pearls to add to my collection, so I will buy them and let you know what I think. I love rose, leather, oud, tobacco...so looks like I'll have tough choice to make. 😅 Thank you again! ❤️
Hey, it's me again. 😊 I bought Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition and you were absolutely right, this is such an amazing fragrance! ❤️ Me and my husband fell in love with it, as our expanding collection lacked a tobacco scent. Thank you once again! I love this scent, the longevity and quality are top notch indeed. 🙌 🥰
This is me! My fragrance has to match my mood and I look for longevity and projection. If it doesn’t perform then that’s a problem. I certainly don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars on a skin scent. I bought Orchidee Vanille and it doesn’t project. It smells wonderful but no lift. I barely wear it now because of that.
Very interesting fragrances, Leila! I blind bought Gimauve by Reminiscence and it smells just the way you described it. I will definitely use your recommendations as a reference for future purchases. Very informative video🎥 as always. Love from🇬🇷 Greece.
Junoon Noir is my most worn perfume in winter. I reach for others but come back to it each 2-3 days. Yet, i just preffered it less powdery. Try also Junoon Rose. It is such a lovely alternative to Blossom Love. I sprayed them side by side. JR so much smoother and rounder and with a slightly suede note. After 5-10 min you can't tell the difference. Massive lasting power, massive projection. I'm already at 2nd bottles for the 2 junoons.
Great video! I love Encre Noir and L’extase Rose Absolue. I also found PDM Delina to be headache inducing. I prefer Nina Ricci Rose Extase to Delina. I’m very interested in trying the Reminiscence and Al Haramain fragrances.
I came across you for the first time. Great video! I like the way you talk about fragrances and we have something in common Encre Noir was also one of the first parfum in my collection and I love it and use it regularly in the autumn as a woman. You earned a subscriber here :). Keep the videos coming!
This is such a great budget dupes list 🤩😍👌. L’Extase Rose Absolue is such a stunning fragrance😍😍. I’ve recently added Azora to my collection and I want to explore more from this brand🤩😍👌. Al Haramain also makes good fragrances and I’m so curious about The Tobacco Edition. Awesome list as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰
D&G the only one: I thought it was too sweet at first but when I use it I just love it and I sort of crave using it. The only one intense I thought I loved but in fact I never reach for it and it doesn’t make me feel good in the same way as the only one original
Another great video, I spent a lot of money because of Leila lol, but all worth it. I do trust her and after purchasing few of her recommendations I know I can blind buy what she recommends. Thank you 👌🏻🙏🏻❤️
I love amber oud tobacco edition I have a backup bottle its that good however I don't find it long lasting imo a good 5 hours on skin it projects amazingly tho...you have a great list tfs
I had no idea that Love by Chopard was a dupe (Well, as far as I know they don't make dupes, but I am not surprised with so many perfumes some start to look alike). I bought it a few months ago and I love it. This was my first Rose fragrance and after it I bought 3 more, all Middle Eastern btw 😆. Despite the million notes and so many roses Love is still not a mess, nor super linear. I got a discounted 30ml since perfumes are not exactly cheap here and my budget is limited, but it's worth every cent and more. Will probably go through it this AW season, even though I have several fragrances.
So glad i found you in UA-cam i am new subscriber, you are so elegant i love your voice and your perfume suggestions so much different from other perfume-youtuber i feel you are genuine. And i have boughta few perfumes because of you. Also, because i love your voice i turn on your video to sleep. Thank you much!!! Love from SouthKorea
If anyone fancies a dupe for MFK Rose scent I recommend Paul Smith Rose (from £15 !) . Best BR 540 dupe Anna Abiyeth Rouge (arabic perfume £14) or ZARA's dupe. Can much more expensive fragrance be a dupe ?
I have molinard lavande and I love it although it doesn’t smell like lavender except in the opening. I have this perfume since 4 years and I wanted a lavender perfume because I love the lavender scent. Unfortunately the lavender scent only lasts in the beginning and I was disappointed. But the drydown of this perfume is very beautiful and I started to love it. For me it’s a warm creamy slightly flowery scent but not lavender.
What a wonderful video. I could listen to you talk about fragrances all day in your calming, classy and intelligent style. I have a query regarding Nina Ricci L'Extase Rose Absolute if you don't mind. I think Oud Satin Mood is certainly within the boundaries of unisex, but I wanted to ask if perhaps L'Extase leans a little more feminine? I would be interested to try it if it does not. Thank you! :0)
I had the Nina Ricci fragrance, I liked it but unfortunately it didn't last well on me! I ended up buying Oud satin mood, luckily at a discounted price, and I love it. It smells richer to me, but the Nina Ricci is lovely nonetheless. Your hair is amazing btw!
The story about the man on a bench - too funny! I have the whole line of Nina Ricci’s line Extase, and the Rose Extase Absolue is the one I am not crazy about. When I opened the bottle first time it was a concoction of horrible chemical smells, it got (much) better after a while, but the opening still bothers me. I like the most Chant D’Extase which no one ever talks about, supposedly discontinued. I think there are many perfumes, often more beautiful and less expensive than the hyped ones everyone is talking about on UA-cam, and I appreciate that you are frequently talking about them. I bought 1881 by Cerruti, very enjoyable, thank you! By the way, you look stunning in black with bright red lipstick!
@@styledigest9819 Yes, that one! I don’t know what is it, but something in this perfume enchants me. To me it is like echo of a seaside with white squeaky sand with very tiny bit of citrus, plus scent of soap, but not soapy, if that makes sense - some old style luxurious soap, not dove or ivory, and at the same time is warm and sweet (but not too sweet) and airy. Just lovely.
Yey! I get a double dose of you with an English versions ! I bought a lot of new fragrances (especially from Elizabeth Arden!) , thank you for all your work .
Hi the Arabian brands are so expensive here in Canada over 200$usd. Love your videos and suggestions. Can you please do a chic smelling budget list. I have watched so many videos and you mentioned a budget perfum for a strong independent woman but did not write it down and now can't find the name. Maybe Nina Ricci Rose extase 🙄 anyway keep the good work. Cheers from Canada 🙏💐
Great video! Wish I saw this sooner...just ordered bal D'afrique last week 😂. I really LOVE the scent but you're right about the longevity. I will try to buy a sample of the one you suggested And maybe send the OG back if I like it better 😀.
My favourite from the shaqaf line has to be Shaqaf Oud Aswad ❤ it's amazing and it smells way more expensive! I even tried layering it with other fragrances, If I want a smokey /incense vibe . You should try it or do a review/comparison with other fragrances that smell similar to .

So impressive! Wow!
Very interesting fragrances, Leila!
I blind bought Gimauve by Reminiscence and it smells just the way you described it. I will definitely use your recommendations as a reference for future purchases.
Very informative video🎥 as always.
Love from🇬🇷 Greece.
🙏🤗🌷
Junoon Noir is my most worn perfume in winter. I reach for others but come back to it each 2-3 days. Yet, i just preffered it less powdery. Try also Junoon Rose. It is such a lovely alternative to Blossom Love. I sprayed them side by side. JR so much smoother and rounder and with a slightly suede note. After 5-10 min you can't tell the difference. Massive lasting power, massive projection. I'm already at 2nd bottles for the 2 junoons.
Honestly I love al haramain products, I have the amber gold edition, I have some of the atar oils from India that I adore,
You are an elegant lady. Thank you for the great content videos.
❤️🌷🤗
Great video! I love Encre Noir and L’extase Rose Absolue. I also found PDM Delina to be headache inducing. I prefer Nina Ricci Rose Extase to Delina. I’m very interested in trying the Reminiscence and Al Haramain fragrances.
I gave to My Husband Tobacco And gold Edition and for me Rouge edition, and for me it’s late I received today Dama Bianca
I came across you for the first time. Great video! I like the way you talk about fragrances and we have something in common Encre Noir was also one of the first parfum in my collection and I love it and use it regularly in the autumn as a woman. You earned a subscriber here :). Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for subscribing 🙏❤️🌷
Thank you for the reviews! I don’t know why but your voice and elegance remind me of Jamila Musayeva.
🌷❤️🤗
D&G the only one: I thought it was too sweet at first but when I use it I just love it and I sort of crave using it. The only one intense I thought I loved but in fact I never reach for it and it doesn’t make me feel good in the same way as the only one original
Another great video, I spent a lot of money because of Leila lol, but all worth it. I do trust her and after purchasing few of her recommendations I know I can blind buy what she recommends. Thank you 👌🏻🙏🏻❤️
Thank you Yasaman🤗🙏🌷
Your demeanour is amazing!
Great review and lovely perfums greetings from the Netherlands i enjoyed watching you
Your suggestion are always soo good! Thank you for this video.
thank you so much for your advice! not everybody can splurge on high end fragrances.
Al Haramain 👌
You have a wonderful atmosphere. I enjoy your reviews.
I love amber oud tobacco edition I have a backup bottle its that good however I don't find it long lasting imo a good 5 hours on skin it projects amazingly tho...you have a great list tfs
I love your content! I enjoyed this topic very much. You do a beautiful job describing the fragrances . Thank you ❤️
🙏🌷😘
Omg you're gorgeous and that lip color looks amazing on you. Thank you for this video, I will be trying some of your suggestions.
Hi dear🌷🌷🌷
Please do more videos like this😍😍 perfumes they smell like popular niche perfumes but ”BETTER” and on the budget😍😍
I have Amber Oud Tobacco Edition Al Haramain and I ❤️ it! When I smell TF I could not belive that I prefed Mine Al Haramain 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
I have purchased 4 of these based on your review.
One of the best & informative videos 😍 Thank you so much!
This was a wonderful review. I will be purchasing a few of these that have peaked my interest!
Brilliant 🤩 I am happy that I’ve fined you on English Channel too💝
I love your videos, please continue the channel 🥰
You have a very soft Russian accent. Thanks for reviews.
thank you for the Uk links :)
Thank you! 🌷❤️🙏Are you talking about the blue bottle Nina ricci L'Extase line?
@@styledigest9819 Yes, that one! I don’t know what is it, but something in this perfume enchants me. To me it is like echo of a seaside with white squeaky sand with very tiny bit of citrus, plus scent of soap, but not soapy, if that makes sense - some old style luxurious soap, not dove or ivory, and at the same time is warm and sweet (but not too sweet) and airy. Just lovely.
I just want all of these beauty scents!!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING I ENJOY THIS SO MUCH
Thank you so much for all information you given to all us and because of that new SUBSCRIBERS Here
Yey! I get a double dose of you with an English versions ! I bought a lot of new fragrances (especially from Elizabeth Arden!) , thank you for all your work .
Molinard is great quality. I have Figue. It's a very inviting scent.
Love the learning... once u go oriental there's no going back 👌👌👌
Great video! Wish I saw this sooner...just ordered bal D'afrique last week 😂. I really LOVE the scent but you're right about the longevity. I will try to buy a sample of the one you suggested And maybe send the OG back if I like it better 😀.
Wow U r VERY BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT! Love ur hair and makeup!!!!
Many western countries sleep on Al-harmain, but it is an original an Islamic brand that makes Attars that people use to go to Friday prayers.
Great video. Please make a video on fresh and clean fragrances budget and designer both.
Fantastic review! I'm excited for more thank you ❤
My favourite from the shaqaf line has to be Shaqaf Oud Aswad ❤ it's amazing and it smells way more expensive! I even tried layering it with other fragrances, If I want a smokey /incense vibe . You should try it or do a review/comparison with other fragrances that smell similar to .
