Even though he was trying to score on my son he was always so special just to watch. His linemate back then was Andrew Christall, look what Andrews doing in the WHL. They were the most deadly combo every single tournament, purely entertaining to watch though. Bedard would always be the difference maker in any game we played them, never did I ever imagine he would become what he has though. Back then he would put up 50 points over 5 games in tournaments. Happy for him and his success, he's a great kid.

This is like a NHL team playing an OHL team. Austria should not feel bad about this . I hope the players on Canada do not feel too special about this. A real challenge is coming and then we will see what they are made of.

You look at little things in these cases: a good save, good defensive plays, a good shot or just a good passing sequence. You can't just look at the game as a whole. Small steps, and watch how they improve next year
