On that pitch fryer ya just serviced on that flue system with all that grease there I do see flames licking out up it on that grease I'm suspecting if ands when later that day probably will catch fire
Is it a millivolt system? No wall plug? If so you’ve got a short in your wiring. Once the millivolt get sent then the main gas valve circuit it’s overloading and crashing the system. Something in the wire is touching metal
Previous service co told him he needed a high limit and then ghosted him. So he called me and thats what I walked in to. Gotta know when to walk away. Quoted him ti replace with a sg14 super economical. Just didnt wanna spend any money at the time. That brand has 6 fryers so running on 5 isn’t a crisis
@@restaurantrepairs SG14's are nice, would've been a good opportunity for them to replace it. Good video and like how you handled the repair correctly with an extra fryer for parts just in case. Nice trick with the pliers.
Negative. You’ll need to change the distributor orifices and gas valve spring (or entire valve) because they operate at different pressures. Look up the propane kit online and you’ll see.

My pilot lights up . Whenever I turn the thermostat on, the light goes off . What do you think could be the problem ?

Wondering why the customer didn't order another fryer instead of trying to fix a worn out one.

What if pilot goes off when you bypass that thermostat?
Then you got a bad high limit, bad gas valve or a short in the remaining wiring.
Can I get what I need from Homedepot or somewhere to convert my fry master to propane
