RVP loved that bit at the start 😂 the smirk on his face
Joe S most players that played at his level are like that.
Joe S
Can’t blame him tbf
@Joe S I'd be a bit full of myself too if I was as good as he was.
joe hayes too many people won't get that in this section😭😭
hayes Lee the alcoholic Froch.
Lingard be like how am i supposed to look down at the ball to dribble AND look up to pass??😂
Lingard's busy tryna moonwalk
Brilliant 👏
Technically footballers shouldnt be looking down at the ball when dribbling with it.
Lingard is simply a clown

I personally love the insights we have gained on how sir alex was behind closed doors. Demonstrates the ferocity with which he managed the players aswell as coaching them.
Wish they had a video library of behind closed doors meetings with Sir Alex similar to the one they are talking about. Would be gold.
and even player of those calibre was frighten when SAF told them pass the ball to RVP if u cant find RVP u not gonna play that hurt actually haha
@@AzrieltheAngel He said that to Giggs, Scholes Carrick and Rooney - because he knew they were professional enough, and skilled enough, to respond
He managed each player personally. I think that was his magic. He solved all their problems. Personal problems and etc. it’s why he was very respected by his players. He was truly the greatest manager.
Saf managing is legendary. However i dont think he would be able to manage current snowflakes. His "hairdryer"...What are your thoughts?
Basically what he's saying is that the standards have dropped
No. The standards no longer exist.
@@CHEESYhairyGASH I dont think a club can have zero standards and still develop players like Rashford, James, and Greenwood while scouting talent like Wan Bissaka. Zero standards equates to zero talent but United has talent. Its just extremely inconsistent and not held accountable, thus lowered standards
@Day Night Incel
Thks for stating that mr obvious
He was saying. We need a new manager. Rio highlighed one thing. MU is more on individual performance not like a team.
RVP was indeed a very good finisher.
spalderz from 2010 to 2014, he was an absolute beast.
@@kunalm15 he would've been for even longer if not for injuries
Very good is understatement.. 2010 to 2013 rvp is unplayable, especially in his last day in arsenal, he's one man army
One of the best off all time
Ole reminds me of Smeagol before he found the ring.
Give him a month or two more and transition into gollum will be complete.
😂
So his precious (aka ring) is... Lingard? XD
😂😂
Gollum gollum bäh
Robin had a deadly finish. Great striker !. That volley against villa one of the best ever. And his diving header for Netherlands was awesome to.
It's why Ferguson was such a great manager, he taken 0 bullshit from his players and his players wore the badge with passion and play every game like their last.
Can't believe it was only 7 years ago they were playing and won the league. Honestly feels like a lifetime ago. It even feels like a weird fever dream
Its weird how much and how quickly football has changed
That's one of the best strikers of all time right there.
Heart broken when he left us but couldn't be happier for him to lift a well deserved EPL trophey.
RVP man... what a legend, smiling and acting all innocent 😂 like “did i do that??”
Lingard is saying “don’t blame me, I’m finding the forwards on Snapchat and insta. I can’t get my head up and look at my phone at the same time”.
This joke was shitter than lingards footballing abilities
Sir Lingard does only 1 thing at a time.
Lingard is saying ok boomer
@@kados1246 it was quite funny. If u ddnt find it funny keep it to urslf don't be a nark
Cringe
That's coaching and Feedback.. Amazing .. Sir Alex is one of a kind.. 🙏
That dutch front 3 of sneijder, van persie and robben was lethal
The new generation are not going to know what a beast of a striker RVP was compared to the CF this season. The youtube clips don't even justify his finishing ability and his presence in the attack.
Absolutely true whenever he had the ball there was a chance he’d just blast a screamer out of nowhere
Roy Keane should be Director of Football at Manchester United, RVP, and Rio as a technical advisor.
I swear if Lingard starts at 10 again...
vixan
He probably will considering Pogba out till February.
vixan I think lingards better when he can free roam of a right forward position, how be played in oles first three months
@@reddevil5078 lingard did nothing then he only scored in the cardiff match, that was oles first game.
@@abdiessa8383 as much as we want pogba in the 10 ole will put pogba as a cdm
Ali Umer
We’re playing our most creative player as a CDM. The sad thing is he’ll probably leave in the Summer and we won’t properly replace him
Meanwhile Martial gets like 1 shot from inside the box a game and everyone is still playing.
Luckily 9/10 times he scores that one shot. He's literally carried the team above the relegation zone.
😂😂😂 Ferguson needs to come and have a word with them
This aged wel...
how does lingard even play for Utd.. no goals or assists in a whole year. Yet he’s somehow picked in the starting line up..
No standards left in the club
Ikr, i love Ole, but really don't understand why he keep playing Lingard. Perreira are much better.
@@babyphat8965 Agreed. Pereira is inconsistent, but Lingard is just plain bad. Look at his passes last game, against Arsenal. Utter rubbish. Sure, there were a lot of players passing the ball onto their teammates rather than into the spaces where they're headed, but Lingard somehow managed to pass every last one ball behind his teammates... Never think I've seen anything like that before.
PoetOnMoet he’s 27
he's still a young prospect with limitless potential, give him time
epitome loool he peaked during the season with Jose and then started focus on his socials smh
honestly he wouldn’t even make it in another premier league teams starting 11 imo
I would love to think that United’s players actually get to hear this sort of thing!
I've been saying this for the past 2-3 years! Our strikers/wingers are perfectly fine (even Lukaku), the problem is our midfield and wing backs lacks creativity. Look at City's midfield assists chart... look at Liverpool's full back assist chart... Look at United's we're not winning anything because our midfield have no forward pass. Against Arsenal, Lingard, Matic and Fred they do not have the slightest idea on how to make a forward pass, Matic back in the day, GREAT CDM... Fred is a very good CDM, Lingard is Lingard, he's shouldn't be at the club. WE NEED CREATIVITY!
Glad United didn't sign Haaland, we would've ruined his career!! He's a player that NEEDS the pass, Rashford, James, Martial they can create their own chances, but that's not enough, that's why we've only won 40% of the games we've played! Whereas Liverpool? Their front 3 are better, and they have more creativity in other positions. TAA and Robertson have 14 assists between them... AWB, Young, Williams, Shaw have 1 assist between them. Pereira, Pogba, McTominay have 6 assists between them... Lingard, Fred, Matic, Mata have 0 assists in 21 games!!
To sum up 2 Liverpool players TAA and Robertson have nearly DOUBLE the assists between them than United's WHOLE MIDFIELD and DEFENCE. Those 2 have more assists that United's front line!
Look at City... KDB and David Silva have 18 assists between them... as mentioned above we have 6
That's an alarming statistic that United need to fix ASAP! Now we've fixed the problem that we've had previously (struggling to hold possession), it's all good and well keeping possession, with side to side passing, now we need players that can pass the ball forward!
Really really well said mate
Rio, Spot On.
Another first class interview Jake. Great job.
When your players care more about snapchat than playing football.
Nah no one uses Snapchat anymore.

Fergie kept it simple. RVP was having a purple patch when they bought him off Arsenal and he knew how good he was playing. The proof was they won the league because of RVP.
@johnnydaniels18 agreed. What lingard had in the earlies was a purple patch
Yes sir! Sir Alex was confident of them winning the league with RVP. That’s why fergie told RVP to take the #20, because he was going to help them win their 20th premier league
Rooney was good that season too considering he played mid but i can't say it was all RvP
fergie took the gamble in his last season and it worked...30 year old van persie carried the entire team to win the league
@johnnydaniels18 The benchmark of purple patch for RVP was not about the amount of goals he scored. Robin's purple patch was about him being injury free.
Liverpool forwards are loving it. The amount of long balls timed with their runs are so many..
Just shows how much vision sir alex has to win trophies back to back
I legit can't stop laughing at the clip at the start...
1. Rashford and maguire make eye contact
2. Rashford makes a curling run in order to give Maguire time to make the pass.
3. Maguire see's this all unfold infront of him but rather decides to roll the ball out of play 5 yards away.
Idek what to say 😂😂
That's what this whole clip and chat is about. Even though these guys are great players even they need someone to tell them to pass the ball to the guy trying to make runs.
Ridiculous that they need to be told this, but they do.
Maguire was a pretty bad example to use though. His passing is probably the worst in the whole team so even if he saw the run he wouldn't be able to make the pass.
from his final 2 years at Arsenal and his first year at Man Utd, during that 3 year period RvP was easily the 3rd best player in the world just behind Leo and Ronnie. That left foot was absolutely magical.....
Yeah BUT .. without muscle mass got himself crocked and couldn't run as fast .. bad tackle from a promoted sides defender.
Wish they had a video library of behind closed doors meetings with Sir Alex similar to the one they are talking about. Would be gold.
This make me remember the opening match of the season, when Man Utd beat Chelsea 4-0, and one of the goal is a quality long ball from Pogba to Rashford.
If only Pogba really want to play for Utd, but that doesnt really look like that.
the last few season RVP was a machine. Just a shame those early years he had so many injuries
Sir Alex is a one off legendary!!!!!
1:18 Spot on! there were so many opportunities for Fred and Matic to play long passes to Martial, James and Rashford.
Exactly, I literally saw Fred look up *more than twice*, spot their good runs (while he was wide open) and just held onto the ball, spun and pass sideways instead..wtf! can't ppl see our players aint that great
@@UtdG01 I also think Ole should have played Brandon instead of Luke.
players are not good enough. period
Coaching.
Teams with worse players than us play better football,so....
⏰⏰⏰⏰
i think that the players are good but like Rio said there was just no structure in team. no set of plan whatsoever. all they do is pass the ball to the attackers hoping that they would whip up something and when they got countered the same thing happened to the defender, just hoping they would come up with something. there's no key player to play the ball to.
I was a long term United fan. Started watching United when i was around 10. from 2006-2012 RVP was a true gunner. Now who would have thought this legend is now on United's side. I couldnt imagined about that back then. 😮😲
Was a joy to watch the lad was
That Rooney to Van persie goal has got to up there with the very best
the flying dutchman🦸♀️
Just went and watched that goal they talk about I remember it what a goal it was absolute beast of a ball and the shot wow just wow football then was what the dream was
Love them 2 guys
Rio and RVP both looking fresh...I like their style 👌🏽
Rvp shot from outsidethe edge of the box was one of the best and super accurate.
Two absolute lads
RVP getting more love from Man United fans than Arsenal ❤❤
Defeats don't affect Solskjaer's mood. He's just happy to be the head coach of the most prestigious football club in England
well he won't be for long if the defeats keep on coming..
United time has been and gone for at least 10 years now the Liverbird is back on it's perch.
No he will get it right... still maybe 10 players need to be replaced tho
@@flip1111 at least ten years! Not like we won a league 7 years ago and contested again recently. Yeah we are on the decline but ten years! Get a hold of yourself
@London Sky Manchester is a nice city, lovely architecture and atmosphere
Honestly, SAF coming back for one season would change the energy at that club 10 fold
The genius!!! Such incredible insight sir Alex
Rvp great player his first 2 years as a United player just wow!
I've always thought that Martial does not get enough passes played in to him when he makes good movement
Ay I thought that said 'sir Alex hammerhead carrick' for a minute
Di Maria would have been the perfect player for finding these passes
Rooney would still do that
Rovin vam persie i first time see in studio
BTsport why is the video 2minutes and 39seconds ??
Fast forward to this month (05/2021). Look at how ManU is playing now.
Van Gaal: we don’t do that here
RVP's personality 👌👌
Somebody show this clip for Rashford
They only have two guys for passing like that, Juan and Paul
Lazuardi Firdaus and we have washed up Juan Mata, he was at times unplayable in a Chelsea shirt and Early United days
Thought Juan Veron.
Amazing that robin saved his career and legacy leaving Arsenal. If he stayed there he would not be remembered the same way. Says alot about Arsenal as a club
It was the same with Eric Cantona it works so do it play the ball forward and pass accurately.
The reason united are inconsistent is because they're burned out and there is no competition for playing time. Every player on that team knows they will get game time regardless of form.
Lingard be like "OK so I have to look down and look up at the same time while eating my beans"
Rio at Leeds was world class.
And at Utd he wasnt?
@@ademkhan5024 was but different
Who else thinks tha RVP is still better than our current strikers? 😅
Into the Lukakus and the Rashfords killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Same thing for Cavani in today's match vs Istanbul...
The last sentence of this clip is literally what it seems to be every single game for United. No real plan, just give it to the attackers and see if they can figure it out. If Ole can't make a clinical striker out of either Martial or Rashford then neither of them will ever be anything more. They are too hung up on running short for the ball, to then turn and try dribble past 2-3 players and score a beauty.
A former striker whose team cant create chances n score goals esp vs lower position teams. Says all about this manager
Spicy Meat Facts
Eric Chege now we’re finishing 3rd with the third best goal difference in the league and our front 3 has more goals than Liverpool’s, says all about that manager, doesn’t it
@@oelaty9116 Who is our front three? Mane and Salah both have more than Rashford and Martial, while Firmino has more than anybody else from Utd who could be classed as the third..
Firstly I'm delighted we finished 3rd, but we have to keep the perspective here.
Since Bruno signed we have average a whole 1 point more per game than before, which is absolutely staggering. Incidentally this post was written before Bruno.
Yes Bruno has made them tick, which is absolutely fantastic, but the second he is not on the pitch, United go back to looking like the team they did before January.
As for talking about final league position, it is 2 points more than the Moyes season, equal points to the season LVG won the FA cup and got sacked, 3 points less than Jose's first season, equal points to last season (where we finished 6th).
We look like a serious team with Bruno, but a painfully different one without, I don't see the point in trying to sugar coat it.
Spicy Meat our Front 3 is the same as what we’ve been playing, Rashford, Martial & Greenwood, they’ve got around 60 goals between them, also whilst Bruno has been great it’s not like he’s the only reason, he played against Norwich but we couldn’t do enough until we brought our other main players on, also we had really unlucky injuries, lost Rashford, Martial and McTominay for months, 3 very key players for us and they were arguably our best for the majority of the season, not to mention missing pogba for most of the season, also the teams we are dealing with in the prem this season are a lot better than the ones from Moyes’ season so naturally it’s harder for teams outside the top 2 to get points, not to mention that moyes team had much more experienced players especially in the defence so getting around the same amount of points in Oles first season despite being nowhere near as experienced is a good thing, just because someone has a difference of opinion it doesn’t mean they are “sugarcoating” anything
After this going straight to watch RVP's all goals for Man utd 😎
2:34 anyone else here that?
Give it to martial and see what he can do
Whts your point? 😑
Where that?
Fart lol
It was the presenter sayin hmm😂😂
I can't believe Lingard is a professional footballer, I know people in Sunday league that are better than him and I'm not even joking 😂
mate im better then lingard and i had trials at coventry but sadly never made it, players like him make me sick.
Hes there so rashfords got a mate same with mata n dgea pardew brought bentekes brother to palace he couldn't play v good either
J Lingz is the perfect example of a hyped up footie player who has a huge profile, but very little ability.
Im Better Than Him Though
@@steviehdgamer3063 I doubt your better than him
Lingard can’t even fathom running with the ball and looking up.
Scott is gonna be a HUGE miss in that midfield 😭😭
@Duff man ok, and...?
@Duff man like it or not he is already the most consistent midfielder and the biggest leader in the team
As an Arsenal fan I was glad he wasn't playing. He's the heart of the team.
@@Johnnyjawbone he is an exact replacement of Herrera on the pitch and off the pitch. BTW not a United nor Arsenal fan. Just Premier League enthusiast
Rio: "Oles at the wheel! Man United are back!" 😂
Top of the league 6 points ahead of the best Liverpool team of all time
Ole's definitely still at the wheel
I think personal glory has preference as opposed to team success. How gud can i perform as opposed to how can i help Rashford for example.
I should imagine RVP experienced much the same thing with the Dutch national team when Wesley Sneijder was tangling the strings in midfield. I watched them one time and Sneijder would literally look for any other option than lay the ball on for van Nistlerooy. He relented once, near the end of the game, and Ruud notched, but the game was already lost. Can't remember who they were playing.
Rio would have a lot to offer if he were to consider going into management, he's consistently shown for years the insight garnered under Fergie's management.
Ferguson’s knew it all
At that time RVP was on fire🔥🔥🔥
Maybe the premier league and FA could sanction each player to have a microphone safely embroided on their shirts so the coaches can analyse how players are communicating with each other on the pitch. All games are recorded so everything is in sync. Even the players can learn better/different communication skills on the pitch by using the data themselves.
Still can't get over Arsenal not handing Persie a contract!
He was the reason they won the league that year.
Best #9 I've ever watched me RVP
A year later, nothing has changed. Ole out!!!!!!!
I miss him.
This sickness is also happening in Chelsea where hudson-odoi and Mount won't pass the ball to Werner and sometimes also havertz. Causing the team to lose even a win game, they pulled out such a bad performance
It is easy saying that when Robin is your targetman. The front three ManU has today do not have the quality to carry a team like RVP did.
Ole is at the wheel ... we are back !!! Yesssssssss
RVP literally was our best moment
Scholesy, Carrick, Chin-gee, and Wayne
If Roy Keane was the manager, he would at least bring some character to the team.
Fergie would never allow Keane to become Utd manager....
He wouldn't add anything to the team.
The last thing this club needs is another former player turned failed manager
They would fall apart because they will be scared
Nothing like passion character and desire to improve a team over competent coaching and man management
As an Arsenal fan this still hurts.
Van Persie left Arsenal for one reason , he wanted to win the Premiership and he knew Arsenal would never win it.
Trying to imagine Rashford left foot volley from a 30 yard pass over the top....🤔
Oh the days! When Man United could get players like RVP to come to the club. Nowadays players like, Kane, Aubameyang, Vardy, Lewandowski, Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe and Neymar don't even give us a sideways glance.
The reason why they are inconsistent is there is a manager who is guessing what to do (from United fan) and it’s so sad how rio backs his mate ole
Tbh the game against Newcastle we were lucky. I remember watching and three of the goals were mistakes. We only scored coz we actually had strikers to take them chances
His movement was second to none
Ferguson’s fantastic tactics... buy the best player in the league and tell your players to pass to him....
Sounds simple but difficult to execute
Sir Alex Legend
Van persie is a cool dude
