I love both of them but if I had to choose I would pick the wig wax spray….. it seems to add more texture and volume than the salt spray does. Itself A LOT better than the wig paste and wig hairspray- they get gummy and crunchy just like you said…. And it’s super hard to wash out.

Hi, I wanted to let you know about a product that I recently got to try, that neutralizes the fragrance in so many wig products. Thanks, Taz! For new wig wearers or occasional wig wearers, this was great info. I have the piece out creme & the silicone spray. Thankfully I've been too chicken to use either one except exceedingly sparingly. Not a fan of the idea of washing wigs frequently. Unless someone has dedicated space for wig heads/forms, it's an issue. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

I absolutely 💯 love this product I wear simmer by raquel welch. When I first get it I trim where I like and then spray this in it leave it over night and it's just a lil more broken up and fuller.

I like volume too. But I want it on top of my wig, rather than in the sides. The wig wax does seem to define the curls though, so on a wig with higher hair density this product might be worthwhile.

Thanks so much Taz! It really seems better than I was expecting. I was curious though, how it would be for contours in the front? I know you typically use the heat of your hands, which I prefer, however I have a couple that are more stubborn and I would love to know how it does for that in particular, prior to purchasing. I absolutely LOVE ALL your videos, I learn so much and you truly are a joy to watch! You brighten my day without even knowing, which is huge for me, as my connection to the outside world had greatly declined, coming to a comete halt, over 2 years ago, due to health. Hello! This product would help contour and hold the front on a shorter, lighter style… Rose Ella is heavy and long at the front which exceeds the power of this product. 💕💕💕

Yes, so far so good on the hold! I featured this wig in another video and the volume and hold stuck with it pretty well! This product will not fall out like dry shampoo, so it stays in the fiber. I recommend refreshing it by shaking it upside and down and fluffing it a bit to revive the style..Hugs! XOXO

Sodium PCA is a naturally occurring amino acid that aids in conditioning & hydrating, and is found in our skin. Not sure what its purpose is in the wig wax, but if it gets on one's scalp or natural hair, it's not a bad thing at all.
If you also spray the ends you can also texturize and get separation. Wait until you blow dry it

It will piece it out a bit I think.. I cannot attest to the hold, but it should hold better on a shorter style like Ignite because there is less weight to it:-) XOXO
Really great review! Did you notice if it dulled the shine on the fibers?
This is a heat friendly style with no shine, so I could not tell a difference. It dries clear, so I would guess it would not work to reduce shine:-) XOXO

Yes, I suspect it will add a bit of piecy-ness to any style..it will not be strong enough to hold and lift the heavier styles XOXO
How did the wig feel the next day and did the volume stay until you washed it again or did you have to reapply?
So far so good.. pretty impressive! I filmed a short video of Rose Ella since the application of this product and the volume is still there.. a nice moveable holding power! XOXO
It's beautiful but it didn't add any volume on top that I can notice. I have problems with getting more volume on top so its not so flat

I have the same problem. After much frustration with product, I had to do something. It sounds crazy but what I do is use a shoulder pad! One that is one of the flatter, slightly curved cotton-covered ones, (not the kind that is uncovered foam that is very curved to your shoulder). I place it into the crown of my wig with the thickest part towards the back. Instant lift! I have never had a problem with one slipping, either.

Fragrance is my number one complaint with wig products. I don't know why manufacturers think we all want heavy perfumes in our products. The product works obviously but I don't like fragrances at all so I can't purchase unfortunately.

I use one or the other. I like wig wax for pumping volume and sea salt spray to create piecey texture🥰

Is it more like a dry shampoo spray feel?
Hmm.. a bit more tacky than dry shampoo, but less sticky than wig spray, styling creme or texturing spray XOXO
I guess it wouldn’t be good for straight styles, since it causes “piecey- ness”. For just body, I guess dry shampoo might be best?

I have a hand tied that is very flat and needs some body, volume. It’s a straight style so I’m not sure which product would be less damaging- the wig wax, sea salt, or dry shampoo? I’m like you and don’t want to wash it.
Benzyl Benzoate is a chemical that I would research. I would also wash my hand very well after contact with this chemical. Just saying.

LOL, yes! I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida but moved to Ohio when I was 2 years old.. grew up on a farm, very poor upbringing, but it has made me who I am today and I am blessed!! XOXO
