Great job on speaking English.
Lots of French people would never do that, and so not many French UA-camrs are known internationally.
Because they don't want to speak English 😂
he should work on his speaking english though, I couldn't understand him.
@@peymanpeymani942 well make an effort. I understand him perfectly
@@peymanpeymani942 He made a whole video speaking english.. i would say he is working on it. Plus i understood about 95% from watching it the first time, with mainly names of moss/materials that im not familiar with getting lost. In my opinion i would say that he is doing great. If you cannot understand him maybe you should work on your english understanding? Cheers.
What did you use inside? I couldnt understand.
I have a suggestion for any of you who cannot get your hands on tree fern and have a tank that can stay at 80+R/H constantly. Get some clay cat litter, no additives whatsoever, no scents or anything. grind it up into powder in a blender or something similar, then mix it with water and coco fiber and smush it onto the background. It works great, you can grow moss on it and plant plants directly into it and they will grow. I use it for my vivarium, it is beautiful.
@Dirty Dan no, it smells like moss. The cat litter is just pure bentonite clay. If it smells scented then you poisoned your tank.
Any specific brands you might recommend?
It's been too long since I've done it so I can't recommend any specific products, but as long as it's pure bentonite litter with no additives it should be good. It should not have any aroma or scent besides the clay small. But you HAVE to make sure, VERY sure, that it doesn't have any additives
The More of your videos I watch, the more inspired I become. And, I'm not a man who is easily impressed. Thanks again for a wonderful tutorial.
It takes half a year - I should have started early. From my experience even in an underwater setting, it took about the same time to have the moss spread and take hold of stones. The moss was exposed to 8hrs of direct LED light underwater.
beautiful work! I am trying to decide how to build my first moss terrarium- this is very helpful!
Wow this is really great!! I would love to make one of those. Thanks for showing all the steps! The final product looks incredible.
Did you end up making one?
did you make one ?
This is so beautiful, I need to keep that moss in mind, it looks easy to propogate
This is beautiful! I love how you made the whole back wall covered in moss and the bottom. I gives a real sense of depth to it!
Fantastic job! It takes a great deal of knowledge and expertise to make something like that. Also energy, and finesse to do a video, when English isn’t your first language. I love moss .
Definitely worth the 6 month wait. Beautiful job!
Nice! And three years later it starts to look good!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful job! Im going to try and make a terrarium like yours
Just did this in what will be my new dart frog enclosure! Thanks for the inspiration!
This was a fantastic video!! Thank you so much for sharing. I cannot wait to watch part two 😁
fricking professional, great job
very cool moss wall!
what is moss?
@@ekoiswanto2456 It's the green part of this video. It's a kind of grass for very wet places let's say
Very lovely work! Thank you for your videos, they are high quality and helpful!
I'm probably wrong, but isn't this the chef guy Alex? At least his voice is 100% the same. If it's you, this is an awesome hobby
Lmao nope. I don't even know who are you talking about :D
No idea how i got to this video but damn that thing looks awesome in the end! :)

Haha im from him too
Edit: found the comment where you answered it's called xaxim.
The moss looks great, but I'm having a very hard time understanding what you used at 6:08, two pieces of what? I looked in the description and is not listed, i put captions and the captions are messed up.
its a kind of tree bark.
Me leaving the room 2min after seeing this guy talking about how to make a moss terrarium, and came back when is is doing electrical work, like
Why is this guy making a bomb
Thank You! This is a great vídeo. I'll build this terrarium.

very nice result
Nice bro... how about the temprature...?
Thanks bro. No heating system here. Just the temperature of the room.
I love your french english accent 😊😘
Wow really nice... Is this open paludorium or closed paludorium?
A closed paludarium
Great video! What is the wood you used for the background called?
It is called xaxim. This is tree fern panels
@@Terrarium-Construction how long did it last? I wouldn't expect its degraded and half rotted by now 😓
@@hulkgqnissanpatrol6121 I don't have the tank anymore but I never had this probleme with xaxim and peat.
@@Terrarium-Construction good to know, thank you for replying
Nice video worth watching
Amazing .... is it java moss ??? How come its so bright green .. mine is really dark green
Thanks, to be precise it is vesicularia montagnei ;) a big amount of light.

What are the other plant that has huge leaves in your terrarium called?
Ficus Pumilia
You are right but most of people just wanna have instant noodles....^^ thank you!!
I learned a lot from your video. What is the panel that you used for background wall?
Thanks ;) Background is made with xaxim which is a compressed tree fern material.
Terrarium-Construction.com thank you so much :)
Looks awesome! Did you leave the light on 24/7?
Thanks! About 12h every day
Fantastic video! I may consider trying this in the future!!
What you were pasted in a tank like brown
Xaxim ;)
Thanks for the video.
Beautiful, all the best
Very cool ... i have a question. Is the top part of terrarium has a glass lid before you rest the light on it ? Or only the mesh lid and you put the light on top of it ?
Thanks. On this tank, there is only the mesh and light on top of it ;)
Looks rly pretty💚
Perfect, well done...is it possible to use matala filter material or aquarium bio sponge for the background? Do you use RO water or regular? Thanks.
Very beautiful!
What sort of lamp do you use ? I’m having trouble 😭 beautiful work
I say it in the video it is a simple led light bulb 60w 806 lumens 4000k you can find in any diy stores ;)
What protection do you provided against electric shock?
The pump is made for aquarium and there are no way for water to reach the plug so there are no risk.
@@Terrarium-Construction do you mean pump is low voltage or relying on outer insulation of the mains cable in the water?
@@stevewhite315 This kind of pump is especially made for aquarium so yes it is insulated by the cable and the pompe itself

Well done mate
😲. man, this looks soooooooooooo great
Thanks!!! This is awesome!!
Bonjour ,
Pas mal votre video ...
Quellques remarques ...
Cordialement
thank you
NICE Movie
it's called a mossarium rly nice gj
Love the way you made it, trying to make something similar but got stuck at finding the right taplength for the cableblunt. Every item i bought so far was to short to go trough the glass and fit the contraring. They do only fit without the silicon ring which is needed to make it water proof. Any advice finding the right one haha?
Amazing video! Love your beautiful accent and voice. I was wondering if this project is still operational. I read some older comments about possible mold, algae, bacteria and fungas gnats -- have you had any problems since? and If you did what did you do to solve them? Would you consider adding organisms like springtails?
Thank you very much. H kept this tank about 6 month and no problem. I had a dart frog terrarium with this kind of set up and I had only few algae but nothing else.
I’m not going drill thru the glass that’s not necessary. Run the cord up the back call it good. Miter box also overkill.
yes you can make a design that you like with the tools that have, you don't need to do everything step-by-step following some instructions that you find online.
Le thanks 👏🏼

Great video!!!!
Still not quite sure how 230-15-15 = 260, maybe it was a mistake or maybe it was the camera idk either way but great video really informative
It is not written 230 but 290. Thanks anyway ;)
@@Terrarium-Construction Oh sorry it looked like a 3 my bad 👍
How can I drill glass without cracking it like you did?
Stunning
merci pour cette video. and please do a follow up or a video of another set up, again merci!
Is there any way you could link me to the light bulb you used? Lighting has always confused me more than anything else and I cannot seem to find the light you used in your video.
Yes but it is from a french DIY store so i'm not sure if it could be interesting for you.
www.leroymerlin.fr/v3/p/produits/lot-de-2-ampoules-standards-led-9w-806lm-equiv-60w-e27-4000k-150-lexman-e1400840925
This is great. Do you think it could work in an open paludarium with no front glass panel?
Yes no problem, I saw a lot of open paludarium with moss :)
Very nice. How often do you have to change the water?
I never changed water because of the evaporation. I had to put about 1 liter of new water by month so no need to change water in this so small size. But if I had pets in it I would have place a filter and change 30% of water by month.
@@Terrarium-Construction Thank you very much! Last question, what is it that you used for the rock?
@@donaldcwik1804 If by "rock" you means the soil, it is made with peat brick ;)
@@Terrarium-Construction Again, thank you! Great set up and a good inspiration!
incredible
Awesome video 🙏😊
What water to use? Very beautiful
I use normal freshwater
It looks amazing! Did you have to hand spray water to the driftwood to grow moss or did you have any other feature to make them wet?
Thanks but there is no driftwood in this tank. but if there was a drifwood a misiting systeme would have been needed
How many GPM/LPM pump are you using for your water flow?
Wow! It's great video!
Thank you very much ;)
Very cool but what if you have to service the pump? Ive had those exact pumps go bad in tanks which let voltage into the tank.
If needded, you just have to make the process inverted. You unplug the pump then remove the plug from the wire. I never had problem to wash the pump. ;)
Fantastic! Do the glass is not enough clear because of the moisture inside or it looks good from outside?
It looks good if you are ok to clean the glass once a week ;)

Thank you 😊
hi mate , great wideo , thanks for that :) i know at the back wall you've used xaxim but what is on the bottom ?
Thanks. It is peat brick
@@Terrarium-Construction is it something like that ? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-8-Litre-COIR-BRICKS-COCO-BRICK-COCONUT-FIBRE-FOR-PEAT-FREE-COMPOST/123676015258?hash=item1ccbaa3a9a:g:JUcAAOSw5LZcfsK1
The peat brick looks a lot like a coco fibre brick. How does the peat brick not just all crumble away like a coco fibre brick would?
Coco brick are compacted in factory with machines peat brick is compact beacause ot nature and time during centuries in swamp.
@@Terrarium-Construction so, do you do anything at all to the peat brick to keep it from all coming apart once it's soaked full of water?
@@Newticus8 Nope You put it in the water and that's all.
Good job
Really bealtiful! What's the name of the other plant?
It is a ficus pumilia ;)
I have at last made it thanks a lot friend. But I would love to ask u some doubts.
Xaxim or coco peat block u find it better to get a good result. I have seen your other videos also were u have experimented with moss mix which grew well in the coco peat block.
1)My question is that wether aquatic plants will grow in xaxim or coco peat blocks like moss or terrestrial moss grows better.
2) I am planning to grow aquatic plants as emmersed in the xaxim material like a paludarium will I be successful with aquatic plants and xaxim.
3) Thanks a lot for your video I would love to visit u guys personally u guys don’t know how much ppl in India has got influenced by your video. Kindly help me with my doubts. I am confused wether aquatic plants will survive in the xaxim with continuous flow of water.
Thank you very much.
And Sorry I'm not sure to understand all what you mean, I don't speak english very well.
But the best is peat brick for soil and xaxim on walls for climbing plants and java moss to get beautiful moss everywere if you have enough water flowing all the time.
I hope I reply correctly to your questions 😉
@@Terrarium-Construction merci beaucoup, tu parles bien anglais au moins tu as pu dissiper mes doutes.

How often do you have the pump running? 24/7 or an hour a day? Great video I’ve just done one myself copping you. Thank you 👍🏻
Thanks. The pump is always running because all have always to be wet
